  1. I have been saying all year that the O stats are misleading. I have felt that the offense has been out of sync all season. There have been drives here and there that have looked great. But the overflow has been off. And Allen just looks like he is at max effort all the time. He has bouts of the bad feet. I hate to say it but maybe he worked harder the previous season so his muscle memory was more on point. In general, nothing is coming easy like it does when your clicking. I dont know if its on him, is it the OL, is it the playcalling or preparation? Likely a combo of all of the above.
  2. Remind me who Pitt has on their OL… Pitt is consistently good regardless of QB play.
  3. A common theme has been over investing in the DL and hoping they get lucky with pickups like Williams and Feliciano.
  4. They "tried" but as we are seeing it was not good enough. Devey signed Williams and Feliciano signed to 3 year deals Boettger tendered and signed Hart signed Douglas signed Lamp signed Brown drafted 3rd Doyle drafted 5th Anderson drafted 7th Tuitele signed Gonzalez signed Harrell signed Gauthier signed
  5. Would you give up Rousseau and Basham for Najee Harris?
  6. Exactly - line him up as the 3rd T...even on passing plays.
  7. 9 carries...I dont think they are great so am with you there. But what do expect if you are only calling 9 running plays to your RBs?
  8. Rush 4, drop 5 in mid coverage and 2 deep. Lights out Bills.
  9. This is an obvious move if we can get him. He is a reliable pass catcher and good run blocker. A more athletic version of Lee Smith. I think he is like 270lbs.
  10. That is what I dont get about Daboll. Our OL gets pushed in the backfield consistently and we still call the RPO constantly or other slow developing passes and runs. Its not like its all blitzes, its literally the OL gets no push. Daboll needs to accept that and adjust. Quick slants, pick routes, etc. Instead he is running routes to the outside which your qb needs more time and 5 step drop backs.
  11. This was a lot of peoples plan. But we were told how the O was one of the best in the league and will only get better...
  12. What did most of the "dumb" mock drafters want the Bills to do in the draft or free agency? Daboll is stubborn and wants to prove that Moss is a good back. Singletary is meant to be a a horse but not your lead back. We signed Brieda...has he ever been active? Supposedly they "looked"
  13. I think OP is referring to the quick slant or cross. Not a wr or rb screen or a throwing underneath on broken plays etc. it’s the quick take the snap and let it loose.
  14. And I would say there were a number of te and rb available this offseason and at the deadline. Or the draft.
  15. And don’t forget how many failed free agents they have tried on the cheap. Don’t have the energy to make them all.
  16. Huh? A slant is a drop and release the ball. That’s why you run a te post / corner with the slot slant underneath. Watch the wr routes we generally run. They are very intricate and long developing - run an out that curves into into a post back into an out.
  17. Creed Humphrey over boogie would’ve been the pick this year.
  18. And we draft 2nd rounders that are inactive.
  19. We need gailey. I am kidding but seriously he found ways to produce with awful OL.
  20. The offense has never looked right this season. Even in games they were scoring a ton of points.
  21. Routes - develop. That is part of the problem. Our scheme is either dump off or long developing routes.
  22. Middle of the field was open a day with quick slants. Daboll has never liked it. But I run quick slants and outs. Keep the d honest.
