First Round Draft Pick Is ...
DCOrange replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mel Kiper has 19 of the top 22 prospects as defensive players. And one of those 3 offensive guys is a QB that Buffalo obviously won't take. -
Drew Rosenhaus sighting at Buffalo airport

Even Buffalo won't do that. There's just no RB remotely that valuable in this year's draft. I could definitely see someone like Damien Harris in the 2nd round though; in fact, I kinda expect that to happen with or without McCoy being moved. -
First Round Draft Pick Is ...

I think Hollywood is a prospect worth checking out, but regarding this comparison, Antonio had a solid 30ish pounds on Brown back when he was at the NFL Combine. -
Yes, probably a bunch of them that have a chance of going in Round 1: Kelvin Harmon DK Metcalf (depending on if he declares/how he's rehabbing) N'Keal Harry AJ Brown Marquise Brown and guys that I think will at least get some love: Collin Johnson JJ Arcega-Whiteside Deebo Samuel Nobody that I'd expect to go in the top 5-10 where Buffalo will be picking, but it's a pretty deep WR class IMO. Edit: I'd also add Hakeem Butler to the mix.

Dungey has been pretty damn good when healthy (with the exception of the last few weeks before this most recent game, though I suspect he's been hurt this year too) and Tommy DeVito participated in the UnderArmour All-America game and has looked great every time he's played so far in his career.

QB Kyle Allen worked out for Bills

I believe Allen worked out for the Bills leading up to the draft as well -

Terrelle Pryor in Buffalo! Update: He's signing!
DCOrange replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's still rated 20 spots higher than Benjamin and 30 spots higher than Zay this year on PFF lol. -
Where? I see the Cleveland media all speculating about who the interim coach will be still. Literally one of their writers just tweeted out 30 seconds ago that it looks like it'll be Gregg Williams.
-
It could be Al Saunders instead, though that would leave a gaping hole on the offensive side of the staff.
-
I think he might be the first one fired too, but people were projecting Tampa to be in the hunt for the #1 pick this year. They've probably exceeded expectations for the most part. The fact that the defense hasn't improved at all is gross though. Edit: They were tied for the 5th worst over/under coming into the season at 6.5 wins, ahead of only Arizona, Cleveland, Buffalo, and the Jets.

Watching the Packers offense over the years, I'm very skeptical of McCarthy as an OC. Maybe with more time to focus on it, he'd do better, but the system in Green Bay is holding that team back.

Report: Bills have discussed trading KB
DCOrange replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seems like a really strange replacement for Fuller but I won't complain if Buffalo can find a taker. -
I'd personally pursue Quincy Enunwa, Jermaine Kearse, John Brown, and Tyrell Williams. I think Buffalo will actually pursue Tyrell and Adam Humphries.
-
As long as you intend for the pass to be near a WR, it’s not intentional grounding. They probably would say he was attempting to throw it to someone.

How would have you handled the roster this offseason?
DCOrange replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually laid out my mock off-season on BuffaloRumblings back in February. To summarize: Tyrod Situation: Trade Tyrod. At the time, the Tyrod trade had not actually happened, but I suggested trading him to Cleveland for Cody Kessler and their 4th round pick. This gives Buffalo a young QB with some experience who can compete for the starting job. Free Agency: Bring back Exclusive Right Free Agents: Nick O'Leary Lafayette Pitts Logan Thomas Eddie Yarbrough Re-sign: Kyle Williams Leonard Johnson Joe Webb Cut: Lorenzo Alexander (in retrospect, this would have been horrible...he's been incredible this season) Outside Free Agents: Vontae Davis (he had already signed at this point unfortunately; otherwise I would have preferred to bring EJ Gaines back instead) AJ McCarron Allen Robinson Nigel Bradham Charles Johnson Frostee Rucker Charles Sims Draft: 1.21: Lamar Jackson; to me, he was the #1 QB prospect in the draft and I had a feeling he'd slide to 21 which obviously makes it even better. 1.22: Tremaine Edmunds 2.21: Harrison Phillips 2.24: RB Ronald Jones; I thought he was the #2 RB in the class at the time. Obviously he's disappointed so far though. 3.32: OT Jamarco Jones; ended up going in the 5th round in real life, but I thought he'd be a nice developmental tackle prospect. 4.1: CB Issac Yiadom; ended up going 2 picks before this in real life. Bills were very limited at corner and I thought his height and length would be a good fit 4.21: OG Sean Welsh; think he went undrafted in the end 5.21: Dorance Armstrong; went in the 4th round in real life. Thought he'd help to address the need for pass-rushers 5.29: LB Jack Cichy; went in the 6th round in real life; wanted to add more LB depth Projected Starters: QB: AJ McCarron (with Kessler and Lamar behind him) RB: LeSean McCoy (Ronald Jones as the backup and Charles Sims as a 3rd down back) WR: Kelvin Benjamin, Allen Robinson, Zay Jones TE: Charles Clay O-Line: Cordy Glenn, Richie Incognito (obviously this didn't end up working out), Ryan Groy, John Miller, Dion Dawkins D-Line: Jerry Hughes, Kyle Williams, Harrison Phillips, Charles Johnson LB: Matt Milano, Tremaine Edmunds, Nigel Bradham Secondary: Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, Tredavious White, Vontae Davis -
Watson most certainly does not have better protection, as we saw literally a few weeks ago when we played against him. It's not Arizona levels of bad, but their OLine is absolutely horrific. The Bills OLine is bad too, but not on that level. Ledyard seems to be very high on Daboll, which is really what pushes Allen's situation up ahead of all of these guys.

Our chances at getting Stewart have definitely improved a lot recently. We had been thinking for awhile that we had no realistic chance at him and now there's definitely hope. I know Stewart hated his visit to Kentucky at least, so unless they make a convincing last ditch effort, they're probably out on him. We'll see with Akok Akok; I'd prefer him over Stewart personally. He's keeping things really close to his vest as far as his recruitment goes. Someone close to him is trying to push him to UConn and has been telling UConn that he's 100% going there, but AA himself has denounced that. I really hope he ends up in orange but I'm not really confident about it. Guerrier...I think Syracuse would be pretty shocked if they don't get him. Assuming we get him, I'll be pretty satisfied with him and Goodine as the big commitments. Obviously adding Akok and or Stewart to the mix would make it even better though
-
Based on what I've heard, we seem to be pretty confident that Guerrier will commit. Seem to feel like Akok Akok is a coin flip and might be less likely than Isaiah Stewart at this point. My gut feeling is that we end up with neither Akok or Stewart; think Akok Akok ends up at UConn and Stewart at Michigan State or Washington. I hope I'm wrong, but that's my prediction at this point.

Issue is I'm not sure he'll enter the draft after his injury. I doubt he's taken in the first round at this point and he has the potential to be a top 10 pick if he returns to school. If he enters the draft, he's gotta be one of the guys they consider though.

Unless McBeane have changed personalities overnight, there's no way this kid comes anywhere near the Bills unless it's bring your nephew to work day and Jim is coming.
