  1. There seems to rarely be a sure thing with drafting a QB. This QB class seems to be the same in that regard. If the Bills are intent on giving up that much draft capital for the #2 , I think it's probably smart to draft the guy who has a cannon over the others.
  2. With all the recent negative news on Lamar Jackson I think he will be there at 22. I'm not sure the Bills could afford to pass on him at that spot. He may bust. But he also may be Michael Vick. Edmunds at 12 and Lamar at 22 wouldn't make me mad.
  3. I've been thinking the Bills should stay put and take Jackson at 12. I don't think the other 4 will be there. But that score would make me take him off the board. Think now the Bills have to at least get to 6. Otherwise let's hope Edmunds or the Georgia LB are still there at 12 and shoot for a Lauletta type in Rd 2 or 3.
  4. Would be a great draft. Not sure about the LB in second. Think there might be some really solid O lineman still there at that spot.
  5. I just hope we don't overpay. I'm not sold that any of these QB's are worth it. We should deal from a position of strength. If we go to 2 I really hope it's for Mayfield. Otherwise I'd stay at 12 and draft Jackson.
  6. True. I'm just speaking in terms of the trade value of the pick. There was a chance that pick could net the second QB before the Jets deal.
  7. The Bills have a position of strength on this thing. I don't think there are going to be that many teams involved in going up to 2. I tell you what lost its value with the Jets move. The Browns #4.
  8. Denver isn't selling the farm to trade up to 2. They like Keenum and will take their chances that the guy they want will be there at 5 or they may trade down themselves. Miami may trade up but they have don't have the Bills draft capital.
  9. Thats a little hyperbolic but I get your point. 2 firsts and 2 seconds does not seem like chicken feed to me. That's 4 potential starters for a team in dire need of OL help that appears to be sticking with Eli. What other team can top that offer? Add a third this yr but that would be it for me.
  10. Way too steep. Beane needs to stick to his guns. 12-22-65- next yr 2nd
  11. I think with the signing of McCarron the Bills hope Smith or Edmunds are there at 12. Then if Jackson is there at 22 they take him. If not they go OL or CB while looking at some of the other QB targets in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. The Richmond QB may be an option in those rounds. I am not so sure they trade up as I was before.
  12. My ultimate draft would be for Jackson to drop to us and the edge rusher from UTSA. Maybe get Sony Michele in the second.
  13. Jackson is light years a better athlete than Taylor. He's Vick 2.0. Personally I'd rather take my chances with that than draft a career back- up like Rudolph. I'd rather stick with Peterman and draft for other needs than do that.
  14. Absolutely would trade both firsts and a second this year for Darnold. Don't think that would be enough though.
  15. Impossible to know if he will be able to learn and read NFL defenses. But can tell you Jackson is light years better athlete than Tyrod. And in my opinion injury and attitude cost RG3 a long pro career. Jackson is the best pure athlete I've seen at the position since Vick. Would feel much better about drafting him first round than Rudolph who is a system guy I'm not sure is better than Peterman.
  16. New to the board but a lifetime Bills fan since Juice and Joe Cribbs. I like the idea of McCarron or Glennon as a bridge. I've watched Lamar Jackson his entire career being from the area. Kid is pretty electric. If Mike Vick can have a long NFL career, I think this kid could as well. To me the ideal would be to sign one of the low to mid tier guys and draft Jackson. Think he would thrive in the elements of Buffalo.
