  1. I disagree. One strip sack probably equals two or three sacks. See Hughes, Ryan, White - strip sack fumble TD. Game changer. And it is still a QB pressure. Keep hacking at that arm Jerry.
  2. 9 wins. Playoff QB. And in 5 days it will be 10 wins and join Kelly, Ferguson, Reich, and Kemp as only playoff winning QBs.
  3. Vikings I have a real dislike for Matt Ryan. He chokes in big games.
  4. TT I'm sorry this board has ripped him for two years. If he gets too much of the blame (Rex, the defense, and WR injuries ruined the 2016 season) then he should get too much of the credit. Look at it from a Sabermetrics standpoint. Is there any other position where the difference between starter and replacement is any greater. TT to 5 pick Peterman???? There is nothing even close. Even White or Gaines to Wright is not close to the drop off from TT to Peterman. The WAR must be + 7 games for TT to Peterman.
  5. Most of the Miami game, and getting too conservative is what let Miami back in it
  6. Fournette has 268 NFL carries in his rookie season, an injured quad, and a 3.4 YPC in month of December. If he does that on Sunday, Bills win by 7+. It's about stopping the run on Sunday.
  7. Moss TO Lewis Kramer I don't think any of the other are HOF worthy. Urlacher was very good but not at the level Lewis played. Lynch is on my list of all time overrated players along with his teammate Alstott. The rest are in very very good all-time players but just a notch below HOF. For clarity, I would not have put in Michael Irvin, Andre Reed, Marv Levy, Curtis Martin, Harry Carson or Art Monk either. All great players/coach but not HOF.
  8. When we win
  9. Two TD and no picks with 9.22 YPA. Against that D, on the road, that wins the game 80% of the time. That said without Shady, he will have closer to 28-30 attempts. What he does with those extra ten will determine the outcome of the game.
  10. As has been pointed out, average QB would include a turnover. Wait until Bortles throws two picks this week and see what that does to a team.
  11. Hmmm. Three of the four acquired under Whaley. We will never know, but I wonder how much input he had into the Poyer and Hyde signings. No doubt McD had final say but Whaley did ok with FA pickups.
  12. Agree San Fran is very godo with Jimmy G. You are wrong about Seattle and AZ. They are both terribly flawed offenses. Without Wilson that is a four win team. The o-line may be worst in NFL. AZ is just old. But you are correct, if Bills can't stop their running game it will get ugly like New Orleans. There is no reason to not sell out to stop the run. The defensive backfield can handle Bortles.
  13. Two Club level seats, Two first class tix from Portland, first of hopefully many playoff games for me and my son
  14. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/ranking/schedule-strength-by-other Couldn't have asked for a better opponent to play. The Jags have a single quality win on their schedule - Steelers 10/8. Roethlisberger threw 5 picks in that game. 49ers put up 44 on them. Cards 27 and Seahawks 24 respectively and they have average at best offenses. Their defensive ranking is a mirage. Bortles threw for less than 200 yards 6 times. The key to the game is stopping Fournette. They need to play the Jags like teams play the Bills. They need to load the box. Fournette has averaged only 3.6 YPC in Dec. He is a rookie RB with 268 NFL snaps. He was hurt in college and has had a quad injury already this year. The Bills can not let him get going early. They need to trust White, Gaines, Hyde, and Poyer. They can handle Bortles. They have a single WR that can beat the Bills deep. Play a safety over the top of Cole and put White on him the entire game. This is a game that is very well suited to TT and McD. Play it safe. Let Jags make the first and second mistake. Bills win 20-13.
  15. When are playoff rosters set? Are they even allowed to sign anyone at this point?
  16. He made lots of mistakes. If he truly evaluates this team, the Dennison must go.
  17. The Jags played the weakest schedule in NFL this year. Bortles is crap. Bills win even without Shady.
  18. Happened the last two weeks. One was taken away.
  19. Not true. The O-line has never been fully healthy and has always had issues with pass protection. Even when Glenn is healthy the right side has been below average at best. Yes TT holds the ball too long, but he escapes many more sacks than he takes. Ducasse has looked better. Mills is probably not the worst RT in the league but probably bottom 5. Best hope is Glenn is healthy and Dawkins replaces Mills. Hope McDumbass doesn't trade him for a conditional 7th round pick. I think it is less than 50/50 Glenn is back.
  20. He will sign a one year prove it deal. He was injured in LA and now in Buffalo. Nothing career threatening but still enough to shy away from signing him to long term deal. He would be a good guy to place the transition tag on if it is allowed. I don't know all the rules for the tag, but it is unlikely a team will make him a big offer.
  21. Honestly, this is more likely to happen than the Chargers and Titans both losing. Bills still have a chance at the 5 seed. Bills beat Dolphins Bengals beat Ravens Jaguars beat Titans
