  1. I posted on this a few weeks back. McD called this team mentally tough. I said one of the defining characteristics of the teams throughout the drought I thought was how mentally weak they are. This franchise rarely if ever rises up to adversity and has routinely choked away games they have already won. Dallas MNF, Pats McKfumbe to name only two. This team folded in the second half. The defense in particular is very weak. How many times after a great scoring drive does the defense simply collapse. The D collapsed against even the Colts multiple times in the fourth quarter.
  2. LOL. Zay Jones has dropped more passes than he has caught and he doesn't get fired. The refs should be evaluated just like any other NFL employee. They have a union and union rights. They should be demoted or removed from game action if they are consistently bad. Just as the good ones are rewarded with playoff and SB games
  3. McDumbass trading Dareus and starting Peterman pretty much screwed us
  4. Like Luke Skywalker said, nothing in that sentence is true. They traded for Bledsoe. They traded back into first round for Losman. They have drafted multiple QBs in multiple rounds. They have signed FAs. They have traded multiple picks for QBs. The Bills like every other team have no idea which QB will turn out to be good. A GM traded Brett Favre. 32 GMs passed on Brady at least 5 times. A GM took Jamarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf, and insert 20 or 30 other busts over the last two decades including Losman and Manuel. You just have to keep trying but you do not have to give up picks to get a QB - especially not in the 2018 draft.
  5. The point is no one knows. It was called a TD. Throw-back miracle looks like a forward pass but you cant tell for sure and it was upheld. No one can say there is clear proof it was not a TD to overrule the call. If it was called an incomplete catch no one on this board could argue there is definitive proof he had possession when still dragging his foot. That is not what happened though. It was called a TD and there was not enough evidence to overturn.
  6. Exactly. So are they going to give up four or five picks to go up that high?
  7. The defense could force more than one punt in the game. That might be a way to get off the field. It is an odd week to bash the offense for three and out's as theyonly had two and had long time consuming drives in first, and third quarters and finished the first half with a great TD drive What does throwing 5 interceptions in a half do to the flow of the game???
  8. In no particular order including the contenders for last WC spots Brady - 6th round Flacco - 1st round, trade down and then up Mariota - 1st round Newton - 1st round Keenum/Bradford - UDFA, FA former 1st round Goff - 1st round trade up(net loss of 4 draft picks to acquire) Brees - FA, former 2nd round Roethlisberger - 1st round Wilson - 3rd round Smith - FA, former 1st round Bortles - 1st round bust Ryan - 1st round Rivers - 1st round - trade down Wentz/Foles - 1st round trade up(5 total picks given up), 3rd round As many have pointed out, most playoff QBs come from the first round and fairly high in the draft.. However in only two cases did teams solely move up to get their QB. And the Eagles and Rams gave up five and four picks respectively to move up. Rams from the 15th spot took six high picks to move up to get Goff and a couple of low round scraps. More teams found their QB via FA rather than trading up in the first round. Steelers got the best QB in a draft class with possibly three HOF QBs by standing pat. (Trading up worked out great for the Giants and trading down worked out great for the Chargers). Note trading up netted the Bills the worst QB in the first round - Losman. So, what do you do arm chair GM's. Let's assume Bills pick around 15th for now. Who is going to give up 4 or five picks to move from 15 to 2 or 3? Who is going to give Cousins a truck load of money? Who stands pat follows the draft board and takes a QB if the right one falls to you? Me, I don't see any QB in this draft worth giving up four or five picks. I make a play for Cousins or Smith and use the draft picks to rebuild the defense. If I can't get either of those two in FA, then I stand pat and see if a QB falls to the Bills at 15. Then I trade down at least once and never trade up.
  9. Jonathan Williams has not played a down all year. Looks like McD got that one correct. Still Tolbert is worst player on the roster.
  10. It's coaching. Dennison is trying to make TT a pocket passer. He refuses to adjust his play calling. They spied TT the entire game. All you havbe to do is move the pocket and that spy is no longer in the coverage where he is supposed to be. That opens up short to mid-range passes to TE or crossing WR. They ran a moving pocket what, maybe three times? One to Clay for 13 yards at start of third quarter was beautiful. They were a top 10 scoring offense last year with Lynn calling the plays. And McDumbass lets them change the entire blocking scheme. Why? It is indefensible
  11. The play call was not terrible. The Pats ran the same play and scored. The execution was terrible. I'm a TT defender but he has to throw that ball in the dirt once he sees it was defended. Nothing wrong with the throw to Tolbert. It was an easy 8 yard gain that hit him right in his fat gut. A catch there makes it third and ten. Still a way to go but on long distance irst and second downs, the idea is get a chunk back to make 3rd down more manageable. Blame McD that Tolbert is even on this team. He is awful.
  12. No one on here and no one in the NFL let alone McBean knows if any of the QB;s that will enter the draft will be any good. They are all flawed. That doesn't mean you don't draft one if they can't upgrade QB in FA. But it also means none of them are worth trading up in the draft. The Bills got DROY and an extra pick moving down. You can't bet the next three years on a single pick when most are busts.
  13. We kicked field goals and dropped TD passes. That doesn't excuse the defense forcing a single punt.
  14. They started a rookie QB and wasted a great defense. That is how that turned out.
  15. Worn down? They had near equal TOP prior to the last two minutes. The Bills offense possessed the ball for long stretches of the game.
  16. Everyone on this board is screaming about the QB. Six straight scoring drives by the Patriots. 37 points. The DL is far far worse than last year and the LBs are terrible. They need a near complete overhaul of the front seven. Outside of Lawson, Milano, and maybe Hughes, the remaining front 7 needs to be replaced. That is the entire core of the defense - two DTs and a MLB along with an OLB. You want to move on from TT, then get a QB in FA. They need the entire draft to fix the defense. And that doesn't even address back-up RB, starting TE, and the OT spot if Glenn can't get healthy.
  17. Good bye Clay Good bye TT Good bye Tolbert Good bye Ducasse Good bye Lorax Good bye Brown Good bye KW
  18. He has been manhandled all year
  19. Yes missing a ProBowl DT Where can u find one of those?
  20. No need for Dareus Trust the process McD is garbage
  21. Now must take out a knee on Gronk or Brady
  22. All this TT talk. No comments on the collapsing defense???
  23. Can we at least go no huddle
  24. Gee I wonder why we have no inside pass rush without Darues They score a TD on the screen play. We lose 8 yards.
