  1. Can I interest anyone in the 1-seed?: http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/machine/_/results/401220174~1~401220130~2~401220362~1~401220296~2~401220182~2~401220243~2~401220273~1~401220234~1~401220223~2~401220199~2~401220145~1~401220152~1~401220114~1~401220164~2~401220132~1~401220154~1~401220180~2~401220220~2~401220187~1~401220354~2~401220250~1~401220211~2~401220328~2~401220315~2~401220284~1~401220275~2~401220344~2~401220260~1 The obvious: Bills need to win out, Chiefs lose out, Steelers win out, causing 3 way tie and eliminating KC head to head tiebreaker. Not-so-obvious: ATL needs to win out, Hou must lose out, Jets must beat Browns today, Raiders need to beat Broncos next week, Baltimore needs to lose one more. I may have missed some more requirements. That's what I came up with playing around with the machine. It's a longshot for sure.
  2. Perfect game. I won my fantasy playoff game by 1.1 pts and the Steelers lost. I had 3 of their players
  3. This is nuts. I needed Ben, JuJu and Claypool to score 15 combined fantasy points to win my playoff game and they’re in the negative currently. I don’t even care. Let’s get the 2 seed!
  4. I just realized this is a likely situation. Ravens will probably win out since they’re playing NYG and bengals. If Miami wins next week against Vegas, we should consider playing backups and not showing our hand playbook-wise. Then if they win we play them in WC with our starters and full playbook instead of Ravens. Miami would show tendencies week 17 because they need the game.
  5. Broncos corners are all hurt. Bills are better at passing than running. Passing is better than running in general. You are wrong.
  6. I’m hoping raiders face KC in the first round. They already beat them once and came close a second time.
  7. If they don’t agree to massive pay cuts I would release them, but then you have to find replacements and you have about 4mil in dead cap. As for pass rush it’s looking like a good year for pass rushers in the late first or second rounds of the draft. Usually the good DE pass rush prospects are gone by then, but the early mocks have other positions going early this year.
  8. This is the podcast I was referencing in my post. Couldn't find it, thanks. If something like what you described happens, I would hope they extend Allen and use the 12-14Mil to increase his 2021 cap hit and lower his cap numbers for the rest of his contract like they did with Poyer/Dawkins/White.
  9. Yes and there are plenty of guys on the team with one year left and/or a low % guaranteed. If we want them around, this offseason is a great opportunity to extend them at a lower cap hit to create some additional space while not losing a player.
  10. Restructure. I listened to a podcast where they described how that could look. The market is not going to look good for a 31 yo receiver coming off injuries if the cap is lowered. They could extend him a year and guarantee a little more money in exchange for a lower cap hit both seasons. This would be a take it or leave it situation. Same thing for Vernon Butler and Q Jefferson.
  11. I watched PTI for the first time in forever yesterday. Both Kornheiser and Wilbon picked PIT after praising Bills and Allen's performance against SF, while trashing PIT recent play. I obviously don't mind someone picking against us, but Kornheiser's reasoning was illogical. Immediately after praising the MNF game, he said "I'm not sure how Buffalo does under 'big lights''" I think he meant bright lights, but confusing either way.
  12. Have you ever seen Josh Allen play quarterback........ON WEED?!
  13. it was a good drive and of course in happy getting points. It’s a huge improvement from years past to be able to march down the field and get out of bounds to stop the clock. All I’m saying is one small adjustment, using 30 seconds instead of 45 on the first play, would’ve given us a few chances at a TD.
  14. they wasted downs and timeouts. I like that they ran the clock down a little on first down in case they had to punt, but they used up 45 seconds when it should have been closer to 30. could have achieved the same goal and had a few more shots at the end zone. It’s admittedly nit picky but perfection would have been a TD there.
  15. agreed. The Seahawks are a better team, but seeing Allen go off against the SF defense makes this game better for me. Add in prime time and the fact SF was in the SB last year(even though they’re missing 3top players and 2 slot corners) and this is the best win of the year until Sunday night. My only gripe is the end of half clock management
  16. Great win. Aside from the obvious Allen and WR praise the o line played amazing on passing plays. I’d like to think they’d look good on running plays if our Rbs had some speed. Singletary doesn’t look the same as last year when he would break tackles left and right.
  17. Are there any decent free agent RBs out there?
  18. Defense gave it to offense inside the 5. McDermott declined to try for a TD on 3rd down. Also before the half.
  19. That’s 3 runs up the middle on 2nd and short
  20. They take way too many timeouts while the clock is stopped
  21. No way. There are decent free agents available every year. We wasted 2 3rds already.
