Did you look at that journal entry closely? It really looks like a word had been erased, and Grossmont written in. Im not saying her entire story is untrue. But that is a little fishy.

Here was the arc of Gesicki's career at PSU. Year 1--didnt play much Year 2--tried to use him as a blocking TE Year 3--much success as big WR Year 4--similar Contrary to above, he's not a big slow WR. Runs a 4.52. He's very, very good at contested catches. But he wasnt a good blocker at PSU, and hasnt really improved at MI. He's like Antonio Gates or Jimmy Graham. Dolphins are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. As a player he would certainly fit with what the Bills try to do on offense. But he'd be a luxury the Bills cant afford.

This is an interesting thread. To really understand it, we first need to value NFL by position. this is my opinion, no facts involved. NFL values: QB>DE=LT>CB>WR>DT>TE=S=LB>IOL=RB. Bills are bit unique. Based on their QB (Allen) and preferred defensive style, heres how I think player rank. QB>WR>DE>LT>CB>DT>S>TE=LB>IOL>RB Based on this positional value, we'd say Oliver> Poyer>Knox = Edmunds > Singeltary. Give Edmunds and Knox bonus points for being young, and subtract points for Poyer for being (relativley) old. Oliver > Knox= Edmunds > Poyer >Singeltary

I understand your point but I think the coaching staff wanted to look at other gunners. They already have an idea what Jones can do. it’s a cruel world. But how many 34 yo gunners - or other speed positions- like CB- are in the league?

I don’t know. Everyone is saying that Jones is a lock. and I realize that McD said he was an elite gunner. Was. Guy is 34 years old and has averaged 5 tackles per year the past 4 seasons with the Bills. And yes, I realize that you can’t assess his real worth just by tackles on ST. But I watched all22 of his games last year and wasn’t impressed. And he took a really dumb penalty in an important game last year It wouldn’t surprise me if he gets cut in favor of younger blood.

I don’t know. Tasker is wrong about obvious facts. 1). He said Bills run game improved in the last 5 games when Boetger started playing full time. Really? 2). He was suggesting Colts scored a TD on an illegal pick play. Replay showed that receiver wasn’t involved in the “pick”. And the pick was really Bills DB and LB playing keystone kops. sorry, he’s just not good.

??? that’s a pretty disingenuous statement. Recovery time is much more complex than pain tolerance. Severity of the injury is probably the most important, but other considerations would include which ribs, how many ribs, the location of the fx, the age of the individual etc.

It’s next to impossible for a non-native Japanese to become a citizen of Japan. I have a friend whose mom is Japanese, and has worked in Japan for >30 years. He cannot become a Japanese citizen. That Rams game had possibly Josh best play ever. He grabbed one Rams DL and tosse him into the other Rams DL. What QB has EVER done that. yeah he might have deserved a face mask penalty on that play. Investing in a basket of stocks (ie S&P500) is always a wise idea, providing you dont need the money for 10 years. Look at any 10 year time-frame in 1900-2000. Over 10 years, stocks ALWAYS had a positive return, with an average of 8+%. But crypto is a new animal. Stocks in IBM, Amazon, and yes,even Blockbuster, had tangible assets backing them. Crypto has a bunch of electrons backing it. I read a fascinating article a year ago stating that the author didnt know which Crypto (Bitcoin Etherium, etc) would gain dominance in years to come, but he was confident it wasnt Bitcoin. Had to do with the expense of mining and/or maintaining the crypto. That newer cryptos were somehow more efficient. Bottom line; having a high risk/high reward asset such as crypto isnt a bad idea. To have 50+% of your assets in crypto is..????

Agree mostly. But not with Marino. There is no way Marino is in the same tier as Brady/Montana/Peyton/Elway/Brees. All those guys were winners. They all had numerous conference championships and at least one superbowl. Marino, not so much. Marino was a bit like James Lauranitis, the LB commonly known as "pile jumper". Great stats, but in the end, not a true difference maker.
