On defense I think the injuries to Hyde and Miller account for a lot. Frazier’s scheme relies on execution, we need top talent and no mistakes to perform well. On offense… well Dorsey is a year one play caller whose offense is top 3-5 by most metrics. But it doesn’t pass the eye test as far as looking elite. He’s got to make a big jump otherwise he’ll be holding Allen back for at least another year.

I mean we haven’t really put away a bad team since the Steelers in week 5.

It’s funny, for a top team and (current) number one seed it’s hard to point to something where we are truly elite. Some part of our game that we can count on to just be dominant. Maybe vertical passing game? Even that just feels like sometimes.

I feel like maybe he knows they’re bad and so he’s trying to force things too much. Has he watched any film of our team this year? We’re constantly our own worst enemy. If he just plays smart and sound that at least gives us a great chance to win any game. Smdh…

Cheffers crew is always heavy on the flags. Hope this game doesn’t stay close so there’s chance of those penalties affecting the outcome. Jackson and Bass… unforced errors continue to rear their head early and often for this team.

Belichick has always had a knack for turning QB’s into walking punch lines — Sanchez and butt fumble, Darnold and “seeing ghosts” come to mind readily. His only problem is now he’s doing it to his own QB’s and not the other teams. 😂

I do wish Frazier had some more tricks up his sleeve. When he’s got a healthy roster he’s proven he can shut down some potent offensive attacks. I don’t know that he’s done an elite job compensating for our losses this year. What gets me is the extremely lopsided investment we’ve put into the defensive side of the team, just to field a line that’s absolutely average at generating pressure and a secondary that rarely, if ever, manages to make a play on the ball.

Chiefs are lucky they played three of the weakest divisions in football this year (including their own) I guarantee our schedule wouldn’t have treated them so kindly.

Frazier’s scheme needs all world talent at every position to function as intended. Unfirtunately, despite five years of heavy defensive drafting, we don’t have that. Honestly I don’t see how we get past the Chiefs again, home field or otherwise…
