    Looking at who’s available next year, I’d consider all of them to be a big downgrade from Trubisky. Brissett might be able to come in and win a game if need be. Maybe McCoy? Honestly it’s a real crapshoot. Not enough good QB’s to go around let alone backups.

    I get where you’re coming from, I think good defense and run game could be enough for Belichick to beat up enough teams each year to be in the postseason mix til he finally calls it quits. But I mean, Mac Jones ain’t no Dan Marino. The comparison might be a bit too generous in that regard.

    In real time it looked like the ball just disappeared into thin air. In slow mo he just plucks the ball out of the air while running full speed, cradling it like a newborn baby. So, so good.

    His last year he played the run at a high level and his pass rush was above adequate I’d say. He didn’t put up big sack numbers, but to date no one has in this defensive scheme, so I don’t judge our edge rushers too harshly for that.

    How many times have you seen it with NE? Guy has productive but not elite years with Belichick, signs massive contract in free agency, bombs out in new scheme, tries another spot, bombs out there too, comes back to NE and is productive again under Belichick. Love to see it happen here, its a great sign of success IMO.

    At the time I was livid, but in retrospect that playoff game was hilarious. Tyrod refused to complete a pass all game and then gets knocked out at the end, Peterman comes in and throws a pick to seal it. What a microcosm of the Bills before Josh. 😂

    McKenzie’s no contact fumble against the Colts was brutally, comically bad— but he still brings way to more to the table right now than Stevenson does and he should be handling those duties. Put Hyde back there for punts when the weather conditions are severe / stakes are high enough for extra security, and then go out and grab C Patterson next year.

    Have to imagine they want GB/Tampa and KC/Pats for championship games— of course giving way to Brady vs. Pats for the Super Bowl. I don’t know if Goodell’s mortal body could withstand the euphoria that would give him.

    Tasker would really benefit by a little campaigning if someone in the media took up his cause, but he should be in regardless. The best ever in the history of football to play special teams should be getting enshrined before the 22nd best ever wide receiver.
