  1. This for sure. No stopping Brady’s legacy at this point. Chiefs and their fans need to be taken down a peg.
  2. Couldn’t agree more. Daboll has games where he looks brilliant, and then he has games like this where it just seems like he’s trying to force something that’s not working and its really just painful to watch. But it also begs the question, is Daboll just being stubborn or is it that he knows his lineman can’t run block worth a damn? Maybe its both...
  3. This is my question. Like, would a team such as the Raiders even have the liquid capital to be able to buy out one of their most expensive contracts right now?
  4. Neither one has become the takeover-the-game type of monster you’d have hoped for based on where they were drafted. I wouldn’t say they’re bad, but it’s hard not to be disappointed. Honestly I’m becoming a bit concerned with our staff’s ability to identify top flight defensive talent. When it comes to the solid depth / role players, we find those in spades. But they’ve yet to bring on anyone who can dominate a game week after week. Our top 4 defense players are White, Hyde, Poyer and Hughes... and all them were acquired back when Whaley was still the GM. 😔
  5. How short of a leash do we have Allen on at this point? I mean, how many AFC championship games are we gonna give this guy before we throw in the towel and move on?
  6. Not a single player or coach or personnel exec or even the owner was there when the Bills lost 4 straight in the 90’s. As a fan you’re allowed to be disappointed, but this current team shouldn't shoulder the burden of failure for those who came before.
  7. The only scary thing would be if Fitz could play for the Dolphins next week. The Fitzmagic factor is a force that cannot be quantified. I'd rather avoid it if possible.
  8. I like this signing for the situation we’re in, but man, how many games is it going to be that we had our top trio of WR’s all active and healthy this season? Two or three?
  9. I’m convinced the only reason they didn’t fire him mid season was to avoid the old interim coach boost that makes such teams play harder and win a game or two before end of the year. management must be PISSED.
  10. That’s easily the dumbest thing Ive ever seen Mahomes do with the football in his hands.
  11. This is what separates the have's from the have-not's when it comes to QB in this league. If you have a guy who can recognize and beat whatever the defense is trying to do, you have one of the elites who gives your team a chance to compete for championships year in and year out. The only way to compensate for that level of QB play and shut it down is to either have a more talented D than the QB team's O, and/or to out-execute them the entire game, which as we know with today's NFL and the way the rules are skewed makes that a tall order every game. The kind of strain a QB like Josh puts on a defense is just immeasurable.
  12. “Integrity of the game” isn’t a particularly high priority for the league office.
  13. Refs are out of control. KC/Bucs is the first non Bills game I’ve watched in weeks and it’ll probably be the last. Just not even fun.
  14. Don’t forget Jamal Adams for Seattle and Kirkpatrick / Drake for the Cards. Definitely been a theme this year.
  15. Bojo has always had a big leg, its his inconsistency and touch placement that holds him back from greatness. It's unlikely he can be upgraded with a street FA this year, so just going to have to take the good with the bad.
  16. The league completely shot themselves in the foot by not scheduling extra bye weeks throughout the year as a buffer. Honestly I think they should have at least 2 every year anyway, but this year more than ever it was a no brainer. Then they go ahead and schedule Thursday games as well, just being greedy and stupid. Talk about having no plan.
  17. Exactly, we're finally winning games the way the rest of the great NFL teams have for over a decade now. What this defense IS lacking however is a takeover the game kind of monster. We've got a lot of good/ above-average players, and Tre is an elite corner in zone, but if you look at the top defenses this year they almost all have at least one if not two huge impact players on their front 7. It was the hope that either Oliver for Edmunds (or both) would become that type of player for us, but so far that has yet to materialize.
  18. Yeah but how many teams are going to want to wait til February to interview him? 😎
  19. I saw someone say he was on Ford's side in the first half, and then in the second the Rams moved him over to Winters' side. I'd be interested to get confirmation if that's true or not, would say a lot about Ford as a guard.
  20. Another week, another touchdown that might have been.
  21. “What adjustments did you make at halftime coach?” ”Well, we really wanted to get our punting game going...”
  22. Did I miss where Bill O’Brien became the new Seahawks gm?
  23. Yeah I think Jauron got a lot of undeserved vitriol that should have been really directed solely at the top of the organization back then. Not that I don't think he should have been fired, but I think in hindsight we can say the billboard at least was undeserved. No one was going very far with the roster he was given by the "brain trust" GM stand-in that Ralph assembled back then.
  24. They didn't want to pay him to be a back-up, and they thought that EJ Manuel was going to start over him.
  25. Better shot of joint practices with Washington starting up I’d think.
