  1. Ain't no coach in the NFL who can lose a locker room like Adam Gase. The guy seems to do everything in his power to ensure his players just openly revile him.
  2. It really irks me that none of the major online stat resources take that into account.
  3. I'm wondering if anybody will. Could be another 16-0 season for them, realistically. Baltimore has a chance. Your instinct tells you that Belichick will shut down that Lamar Jackson offense, but remember that Greg Roman / the other Harbaugh and Colin Kaepernick ran an extremely similar style of offense and won in Foxborough during CK's peak years. KC is the next best chance, but just like the playoffs, that game will likely come down to whosoever has the ball last. Bills might be one of the best defenses they play this year. Not many other teams are going to keep that offense in check. The question is can our offense have enough success without turnovers to go point for point with such a stacked team? I like the bold prediction, but I'm more comfortable saying we go 3-1
  4. ESPN is the absolute worst at everything. The absolute worst.
  5. I thought the refs called the game mostly fair, for once. This was probably the most egregious one to disagree with, and it was early and didn’t cost us in the long run. Compared to what we usually deal w, I’m good.
  6. So after all that they just go ahead and give him what he wants? That's getting off too easy. Suspend him, fine him, place him on the exempt list if he doesn't show back up. Gruden and Mayock let Brown tea bag their faces with impunity for two weeks and then just go ahead and cave in to his final tantrum. Shameful.
  7. That was the Rams who made him an offer that we matched.
  8. So much for Belichick making him an all pro. Guess they can tear down his bust along with Hogan and Gilislee.
  9. Yarbrough has for years now looked like a stud in the pre-season playing against two's and three's, only to be just another guy when on the field in the regular season. He can definitely play pro football, and I expect him to be on a roster all year, but if it isn't ours I wouldn't sweat it much. DJ has way more upside.
  10. Puke. Couldn't they have tracked down someone related to whoever owned/played on that team? What the hell does our crappy mayor in 2019 have to do with a team from a hundred years ago?
  11. Yep that about sums it up. I feel like the Bills should bring on fan consultants specifically for Patriots games. When guys on message boards get it but the "pros" don't, it's just pathetic. It doesn't help that these cocky teams still treat the Patriots just like "any other team." They aren't. The Eagles showed how you beat them in the Super Bowl -- you treat them like the best team you've ever played and you throw everything plus the kitchen sink at them.
  12. I asked this question of my friends before the game: are the Patriots that good, or is the rest of the league just that bad? Seeing factoids like this push me further to believing the latter. Even ultra-smart, talented coaches like McVay just constantly do the wrong thing -- especially when they play the Pats. It's maddening.
  13. Probably as part of a transaction for a Kiko Alonso jersey.
  14. He should win it for the hurdle alone.
  15. They picked up that option, we have him next year, too.
  16. Hyde is almost a shoe-in at this point. Richie probably gets in, he's got the name recognition and he's been great this year. I think White probably needs to snag a few more picks to get in. Analytics sites like PFF are high on him but it's going to be hard for him to break into the national scene without the highlight reel grabs. But it's all irrelevant; none of our guys will be able to play in the pro bowl since they'll be resting up for the next week.
  17. That is just soul-crushing.
  18. They are who they are at this point. No chance McDermott fires Dennison at any point in the next two seasons, and Rico is running the one and only offensive he knows how to run. There's really nothing that can be changed from here on out. We play some suspect defenses at home during the remainder of our schedule. With this defense, there are still plenty of games we should win. But no way we score over 24 points in any game this year without massive defensive / special teams help. Although as we saw this week, even that might not be enough.
  19. It's honestly hard to say. On paper, based on last year's performances you'd like to say Glenn - Incognito - Woods - Groy - Dawkins/Seantrel would be a great offensive line. But our scheme change has adversely affected pretty much everyone on the line this year. When you combine that with deactivating Miller / starting Vlad, potentially keeping Glenn on the bench.. I think its pretty obvious our current blocking scheme in no way plays to our roster's strengths, and almost certainly exposes their weaknesses. I honestly don't think it's going to make a huge difference who they plug in at this point, all I know is that Vlad and Mills should not see the field in ANY scheme.
  20. As excellent as the coaching staff has been at identifying players for their defense and getting results, they've been just the complete opposite when it comes to the offensive side. You've got Glenn and Groy on the bench with Mills and Ducasse starting? I just don't get it. I just don't get it at all.
  21. But I thought the Patriots had better Bills players than the Bills do?
  22. Denver lost to the then-26th ranked Bills and moved up two spots from 7 to 5? Makes sense.
