Was the Bronco's 2018 Draft the Worst in NFL History?
Norcalbillsfan replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
The raiders every year is the worst draft of all time. Other than the steal of Crosby, the raiders have been impressively bad. I thought the broncos stole that draft honestly, Chubb by most analysts was far and away the best player in that draft. They got the best pass rusher in the draft at #5, that's a steal in today's draft. Now they are flipping him for a 1st, not a huge loss. I would look more at the browns and giants as the worst draft of 2018. Browns missed on Allen and Jackson and Chubb with 2 picks. Giants new Eli had maybe a year left in tank and took an RB. Yes saquon is an elite RB, but what good has an elite rb done for them on that roster without a franchise qb and defense? Giants could be building around Allen or Jackson or even chubb right now, not hoping that Daniel Jones miraculously becomes great before saquon is out of his prime. -
I thought the same, I can see him taking some jet sweep work and screen game.

I dont think this is a move cuz of lack of trust in cook. I think its more the bills had zero confidence in moss. If Singletary were to go down it would all fall on moss and cook, I dont think the bills wanted to be in that position. And it gives options at returns. I like the move, I wasn't comfortable with the idea of what would happen without Singletary.

Trade Deadline (Nov 1) Bills Rumors / Speculation
Norcalbillsfan replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope so. But there's ALOT of money that needs to be spent in other places before beane will want to spend at RB. Smart franchises don't give big contracts to RBs. I doubt Singletary will command a large salary but I'd be certain Oliver, edmunds, davis, poyer, and maybe even guys like phillips, bass, lawson, are all probably, on the list of getting paid ahead of motor. -
I didn't mind the sweep to Mckenzie that scored obviously. I think dorsey likes those sweeps with Mckenzie cuz it causes defenses account for him when he goes in motion. And use that motion later to open things up for other plays. Just like the cheifs loved to do with hill. But I agree that Mckenzie still hasn't impressed me this year with his gadget stuff. And I'd really like to see more of cook in space, especially LBs trying to cover him in space.

Win is a win I guess. Plus side motor and cook looked good. -

Now is where the bills show they are a complete team. Capitalize and put the dagger in. -

If I was a packers fan I'd be pissed about the run call the last drive. Your down big against an explosive Opponent and you run the ball. Those are the famous Rodgers plays, put it up and draw the PI. Put yourself at least in FG position. But instead you give it right back and let the bills get an easy 3. -
And Jeff wilson, low key one of the fastest top speed RBs in the NFL but also has elite cut back skills (unlike brieda who is all speed). And he's 100% a mcd guy. My best friend is a niner season ticket holder and says every game wilson is hyping up the team and always high fiving the defense when they come off, doesn't whine and complain. I think he would be a solid tandem with motor.

What did the bills do to Lamar in that 2nd half? He's looked rough since that game. I don't think he's on the mvp radar anymore, Allen, mahomes, and hurts are miles ahead in the race in my opinion.
-
Sucks, hope he comes back just as good. So if you're beane do you make a call and throw a moss trade out there? If there was a chance to get a pick out of moss this would be a good time to try.

He played well when got the chance for the commanders.

I wouldn't mind adding an RB and not to replace Singletary but like you said if it's a snow bowl in the playoffs it wouldn't be the worst idea to have a bruiser to pair with Singletary. A big boy running down hill when it's 5 degrees in the 4th quarter would be nice.

If you could only have 1 (Beckham or McCaffrey)

Baffles me that people argue obj. Granted if the trade price is too high for cmc than hell no. But to argue that obj would have a larger impact on the team than cmc? Absolute lunacy.
