What would make you want the Bills to Get Out of Round 1?
Norcalbillsfan replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jsn and Robinson will for sure be gone. Best offensive line talent will be gone. I think the big factors will be guys like Addison and Mazi Smith, they could very possibly make it to 27 and I could see the bills pulling the trigger. If both are gone I think the bills for sure trade back or at least try. -
UPDATED - v3.0 (FINAL) on p.13 - Gunner's 2023 Mock Draft
Norcalbillsfan replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like the Paris Johnson to bears, that pick makes so much sense. But Hyatt doesn't excite me as much as I'd like. I think if that's the way the draft falls I see the bills trading back or taking mazi there. But gunner makes a great point, will the bills find a trade back partner? Other than maybe the raiders if they want to get a 5th year option on a qb? -
AJ Klein Expected to Sign with Bills

"we're sorry, we want you back... again, but this time its different" - mcd and beane the toxic ex girlfriends of kleins career -
Without a doubt it's Richardson depending on where he goes. The seahawks is the best scenario, comes in and sits a year and takes over an offensive scheme that made Geno Smith look excellent. If he goes to the commanders, panthers, Texans, and is asked to start and just go out there and be athletic and win games alone, he's going to flame out hard.

27 may be obvious even if unexpected
Norcalbillsfan replied to 4merper4mer's topic in The Stadium Wall
I truly hope this guy is trolling to be funny. But if not? It's probably the right call, let's draft a guy that's already 25 and has been running a backyard football offense and use him to replace josh allen, a proven elite QB. -
Not sure how anyone can fault this move at all. Are people just bitter we didn't massively overpay for Henry? People hating this pick up must not want to help out josh Allen because Harris is elite in pass protection, I dont think many people understand just how important a reliable pass blocker is for the QB especially josh because he works through progessions. The bills passing game and running game improved for pennies with this signing and people will still complain.

Only FA prediction I got right so far with the bills. Beane loves players that torch the bills, when healthy hes excellent in pass pro, solid down hill runner. Really it all comes down to health, if he can get on the feild and stay there it could be a home run for the bills.

As a pierce owner in fantasy football, I do not like this. As a Bills fan I'm glad the bills are going in a different direction

No I talk to much crap about chiefs/dolphins for having Hill. Now I'd be a hypocrite.

Bills Fans Call Out Cole Beasley for ‘Slander’
Norcalbillsfan replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seriously, he called one of the greatest QBs of all time one of the best QBs in the NFL... why is this news and why do people take it as an attack on Allen? -
Beane still looking to add big bodied RB to roster
Norcalbillsfan replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
I dont see any possible way he makes it past the chargers. But we can dream. -
Still a great deal. There were people saying he was gonna get 10 a year.

Could Beane use his sorcery to get Dalvin Cook?
Norcalbillsfan replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not gonna be pissed if it happens buuut... (me the broken record) the past 12 years the Superbowl champions spent pennies at RB. Spending pennies at RB and using money on the trenches and franchise qbs is so far the recipe for a super bowl team. -
I'll be excited once it's official and when the numbers come out. But healthy poyer with healthy Hyde could once again be the strength of this team.

Austin Ekeler asks for a trade. UPDATE: Granted permission
Norcalbillsfan replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems weird to me, I get that he doesn't have guaranteed money but he's one of the few RBs at the end of their prime that has a contract. But maybe someone will give him some guaranteed money but I doubt he gets more than a 2 year deal. -
What’s your offer for WR Jerry Jeudy?
Norcalbillsfan replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
If a 2nd got it done absolutely. But 27th isn't out of the question. The wr talent at 27 probably won't be any where near jeudys talent. -

Not exactly sure what they are thinking. You want to prove that the russ trade wasn't a colossal failure and you trade away his weapons? -
Bills reportedly interested in Jamaal Williams
Norcalbillsfan replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
For the past 13 years the super bowl champions never paid big money for RBs, especially big money to old running backs. Paying RBs is not the move for a super bowl. -
Bills reportedly interested in Jamaal Williams
Norcalbillsfan replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm guessing the bills are worried about the pass blocking abilities of their RB room. Right now they have all pass catchers and no short yardage bruiser that can pass block. Williams is a great short yardage bruiser and elite pass blocker, and not to mention the locker room attitude McD loves. I'd prefer to not spend money at RB and draft a cheap bruising rookie. But going into a season with a huge question mark at pass blocking with cook, hines, and an unproven rookie is a dangerous gamble. -
Bears to trade #1 overall pick to Panthers
Norcalbillsfan replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems like a great haul for bears. Still top 10 pick this year, probably a top 10 next year and dj Moore instantly upgrades wr room. -
Agreed, personally if Robinson, njigba, Addison, and possibly Campbell (depending on what happens with Tremaine)are off the board I'm trading back and stacking OL picks and an upside RB with some meat on him.
-
I agree with all except obj. I don't like the injury concern with the amount of money he will probably want. I would like to replace Jarvis and obj with Robert woods. Woods knows josh and the offense.
-
One of the main reasons I've changed my stance on drafting an rb in the first. If it's Robinson I'm all about it. Because of what Hall did for the jets, and coming out of college Robinson is far and away the better RB in every level of the game and its not close. I highly doubt Robinson is at 27 for the bills, but if he is the bills should sprint to the podium. I wouldn't be surprised if as soon as Robinson, njigba,Addison are off the board the bills trade back.
-
Henry is a beast and would instantly improve the offense. But mentioning chess vs checkers, adding a big money RB is one of the worst moves a franchise can make for a superbowl. A really great tweet got put out and it showed that the past 13 super bowl champions spent minimal to nothing at RB. Patriots and chiefs are 2 great teams that have spent pennies at RB for their championship runs. I'm all about adding talent to the bills offense and Henry instantly adds talent but according to the past 13 years it's not where great franchises spend precious resources.

With saquon getting the franchise tag that made the possibility of Robinson falling to 27 much more likely. If saquon walked there was no way the giants don't take Robinson. But I'd still be very surprised if he makes it to 27, way too much talent.
