  1. If he can't bat the ball down, its never successful. Even when he get home he's misses with an arm tackle.
  2. Agreed, relying on star is not an option anymore. 1 tech is too important to our LB success. Phillips has shown improvement but he's not the guy. The edmunds replacement is tricky, do we wait until edmunds walks and put an unproven rookie on the feild? Or get one this draft and let him learn and rotate in and fill in for injuries to see how he does? I'd prefer the latter but I think your right, they will draft his replacement when he's gone or resign edmunds. I think with the Etienne rumors (true or not) and the production we've had at rb I have a weird feeling beane goes premium for RB this year. But that being said we can afford to sign a great FA RB, but we can't afford a great 1 tech FA. So drafting premium at 1 tech definitely makes more fiscal sense.
  3. Unfortunately I don't think moss is tradeable. Not for anything meaningful at least. I do not like the idea of using first 2 picks on an rb. I'd personally like to see guard, LB, cb, 1 tech or a big bodied reciever. I could be convinced for a great talent at rb in the 3rd, especially speed and good hands.
  4. Supporting cast does matter, look how edmunds looked last year without Milano. The pff data is interesting, I knew edmunds looked better this year than last year. But pff lost me when they gave cody ford a decent grade against the jags, pff didn't take into account ford was getting away with holding damn near every play and josh was dipping out of the pocket immediately lol
  5. Parsons has power, sheds blockers really well, and has good rush moves. Edmunds gets alot of hate, sometimes undeserved but there's no arguing he is below average at shedding blockers or putting a move on a pass blocker. He is only a successful Blitzer when he has a free lane and can use his speed to close on the qb. But even then how many missed arm tackles on athletic qbs have we seen from him? Seeing how we've seen how they use Klein to blitz and be successful tells me that mcd and Frazier know what Edmunds abilities are.
  6. I think there is truth to this. I think the bills thought he would be there, and still get Boogie. But I'm always ok with not taking a rb in the first.
  7. I think the bills shot themselves in the foot not drafting a LB this year. Not saying we needed to spend a 1 on a LB but now we are in a tough position. Klein has played well but he's not our future. No matter what edmunds will get a good contract, either from us or someone else. We don't have the cap to pay another good but not great player an oversized contract (look at what we paid klein alone). But what do we do now? Do you pay up with little cap we have for a quality FA, when we have huge needs else where? Do we let edmunds walk and put your faith in an unproven rookie? I have a feeling bills make a deal with edmunds.
  8. Watching roquan Smith come through gaps and punish RBs.... if only
  9. I dont think he comes cheap, he has always had good tackle numbers. I think if we don't another team would over pay for him.
  10. Honestly not really a conspiracy at this point. He trys to arm tackle everything
  11. This. He does get more hate than he deserves sometimes. But I feel like I find myself yelling at my tv "shed a block edmunds!" Alot.
  12. I agree, I'm not a fan of him at all but ill give him that he's an ok LB. But I think the 3rd and short play is gonna be his entire career, we needed a big play in a big moment, free gap, face to face with fournette, need a stop for loss, misses with the arm tackle, bucs get the 1st, bills loss the game. I think that's always gonna be edmunds.
  13. On the bright side we saw a franchise QB in a Bills uniform tonight
  14. Because he missed on the arm tackle and rolled off the side of fournette
  15. Would have been 4th and bucs 100% punt in that situation. The td stands out but the missed tackle was the game changer in my opinion
  16. We must be talking about different plays. The 3rd and short, edmunds had a free gap squared up to fournette, he arm tackled and fournette ducked him off and had a second effort and got the first.
  17. Edmunds had him squared up. That was a missed arm tackle that we have seen way too many times
  18. Edmunds had fournette dead to rights on 3rd down... what does he do? The Classic edmunds arm tackle. I would love to hear the edmunds truthers for the past 2 weeks
  19. A pursuit tackle on a much slower gronk doesn't exactly make up for getting absolutely abused by the patriots, and toyed with by Bradys look offs, but ya I guess it could be worse lol
  20. Announcer at for the niners game after watching the Evans highlight " wow what happened to the bills" lol.
  21. I really don't understand how there's so many fans that will die on the hill for Edmunds. Quality qbs always have and always will abuse him by looking him off. And he can't shed a block to save his life.
  22. I actually think there's real truth to this. It's almost like there's never a back up plan. It's like we just say " it's not working..ok josh go do something special and win this game by yourself"
