  1. And Allen would have several plays a game even at his worst that would make everyone say wow. I've seen a handful of runs from feilds that are electric but that's it.
  2. I'd like to see some more gadget plays for Mckenzie but I feel like we haven't seen him be a real every down wr more than once, last year against the patriots he ate them up. But the drops and the mistakes he's starting to show a pattern of are how you lose to good teams in the post season. His td drop could have easily been the reason we would have to go to kc in post season.
  3. Everyone has given him a break because he has no weapons and hes young, but I've watched alot of bears games and he's never shown a flash to me. He's a solid back up qb in the nfl
  4. Say what you want about Wentz but him having the mvp caliber/ super bowl season had a bunch of scouts searching for the next small school qb to become a star. I think josh might not have gotten as much attention in the first round if you don't have Wentz do what he did.
  5. Lol ok sure yes he only had a long of 37 yards. In his prime he had a 1000 yards receiving and averaged 8.7 yards a catch, mainly from dumpoffs and screens. There were even talks about him becoming a slot reciever in the nfl. You can argue Barkley, ekeler, or kamara are better because of yards per reception but none of them ever eclipsed 1000 in any of their primes.
  6. I agree with the "rb doesn't move the needle" being wrong, it absolutely does. How many dumpoffs has Singletary already gotten this year? A healthy cmc is the most dangerous dumpoff man in the nfl. He makes defenses adjust. He's the weapon josh deserves. That being said I'm not all in on a trade for cmc if it's more than a 3rd. And I really wanna see the potential in cook this year.
  7. Didn't we inquire earlier this year and Carolina was asking too much? I'm definitely on the fence for this. Pro: If a 3rd gets it done, im listening. In perspective we spent a 3rd on moss, if moss had 1 season that was even half as good as a healthy cmc I don't think any of us would be complaining. And honestly have any of us lost sleep on burning that 3rd on moss? Con: a 3rd probably doesnt do it, and it's probably a 1 year rental, it's a hail Mary for a SB run. And if the bills don't win a SB which is incredibly hard to do, this is an L of a trade. Pro: when healthy there's no denying he is one of, if not the best rb in the nfl Con: hasn't stayed healthy At this point i guess ill trust in Beane.
  8. I dont know... moss usually has really bad instincts on his first cut (see last week). And Singletary doesn't have that immediate speed like cook showed. But ya it was a big hole, and I agree with you moss will get phased out. I think Singletary is still an unsung hero on this team, hes been a decent dump off option and has picked up some really good blocks to protect allen. I hope cook and Singletary evolve into a deadly 1-2 punch.
  9. Pickett has thrown to the same 2 routes the entire game lol
  10. Got cute, should have rewarded Singletary for his tough running and pass blocking with a td attempt there.
  11. Excited to see how josh responds, that's the first really bad pick that was 100% on him I've seen this year. Hopefully he responds well
  12. Ya hes had some head scratchers for sure
  13. Thanks to Bates we are still in the steelers game plan, long sustained drives that end in points keeping josh off the feild as long as possible. Gotta go up 2 scores.
  14. True the nfc is a bit of a joke, giants are looking at a path to a wild card
  15. I highly doubt a 3rd gets it done, and iam firm against signing rbs to contracts, and i still want to see cook actually get some work, but to put it in perspective if by the trade deadline and the bills are looking healthy and still front runners. A 3rd round pick for a guy that at a minimum is twice the rb we have and we instantly get twice as good at rb on a super bowl run doesn't sound crazy to me.
  16. Same people that watch Zach moss in practice, then watch him cut away from the hole right into the backs of 2 blockers on a big 3rd down lol. But in all seriousness your right they do see him in practice so we don't know what the case is on cook behind the scenes.
  17. Fully agree, really hard to tell a rookie back "hey go make the most of 2 touches today" he goes out getting in his own head trying to do too much, let the guy get some momentum
  18. I thought this was edmunds best game I've ever seen him play. I don't fault him for missing jackson in open feild, that's nearly impossible but overall I thought edmunds played great and I've never been a huge edmunds fan.
  19. I didn't want to admit to myself how important a loss would be before the game cuz I was worried, but 2 AFC losses in a row would hurt. And a tie breaker with the ravens could be huge
  20. That's 6 dropped passes off recievers hands
  21. I rewatched that pick, Knox could have made the catch, he pulled his hands back thinking the ball was intended for diggs. Allen is not the problem, I think the count is 5 dropped passes that hit recievers in the hands or chest
  22. Hes a pro athlete, the ball hit him on the right pectoral...make the catch
  23. Josh Allen doesn't deserve this team lol. He might as well throw the ball to himself. The amount of balls hitting the recievers hands and chests and it being incomplete is honestly impressive
  24. Game is not over. If im coach, Singletary and moss out. Put in cook, give him some dump offs. Tell my recievers to catch the damn ball, get davis deep shots
  25. If there's a game to try out cook... it's now
