  1. I know it's highly unlikely, but if this guy returns to all-pro form, our D could be elite. I would advise caution on betting the farm on the DT's, though. The backups are backups for a reason and Oliver & Phillips are still unproven. I really hope those two and Epenesa turn out great.
  2. They are indeed making the effort with both teams, but don't confuse effort with results. I'm still a long way from rendering judgement, but there iscause for cautious optimism. I'd wager that's how T &K Pegula see it too.
  3. He's the heart and soul of their defense. I expect the Jets to struggle to win even 4 games now.
  4. He was.I wanted to keep him too, but he wanted to play for a winning team -- something he never did here.
  5. No. TW is way better than every other CB on the team and CB is arguably the next important position after QB. DE is a very close 3rd, but I can see why some might switch these last 2 positions. I believe the performance of the defense would drop significantly. Unless someone is offering a couple 1st round pick, I wouldn't even consider it.
  6. A probowl caliber CB2 would really make a difference. The dropoff after TW is significant. That said, Wallace and Norman are average CB, so I see this position group as our 2nd biggest need after OL. Of course QB is far and away our biggest need if JA doesn't make HUGE strides that far exceed last year's improvements. He is still holding this team back IMO. I really hope he can do it because we'll pay a steep price to get a top tier QB.
  7. Depth? Not good? Brian Winters is now the best OG on our roster. He's way better than Feliciano and still better than Spain, but why did they release him? He had a pretty decent year in 2019. An old injury acting up?
  8. He's considerably better than Feliciano and slightly better than Spain. He's no probowler, but still an upgrade unless something happened to him. Too bad he isn't a RT so we could kick Ford inside where he belongs. I doubt Ford will ever be very good at RT.
  9. He is one of the top receivers in the league. Still, he was catching passes from Kirk Cousins last year and I don't see how he'll be able to match those numbers catching passes from Josh Allen. I'll go with: 55 receptions 775 Yards 5 TD What's your guess?
  10. Sounds like he is well liked because his passing ability certainly didn't qualify him for this list. His passing ability isn't even top 25 among just the QB's.
  11. Cowherd is exactly right. Josh Allen isn't even a top 200 player. Heck, he may not even be a top 400 player. He isn't even good yet. There are like 25 QB's in the NFL better than Allen. Why can't Bills fans simply regard this guy objectively and honestly? Some writer even suggested Allen as an MVP candidate! I mean the guy's 1st responsibility is passing the football and he can't even do that very well.
  12. Josh Allen at 87!!! LOL!!! Who wrote this article? His mother? He's not even top 20 at his position. Too funny.
  13. It may well get to the point that so many players opt out that it will end up looking like watching scabs during a players strike. We are now entering a 2nd and bigger wave of the pandemic when other nations have already shown how to fix the problem. If we don't start making smarter choices in Washington DC, this could drag on for a much longer time.
  14. Good points. I'd also add reaching for the ball and 'pulling it into your body'. That allows you to see best and the ball doesn't bounce off your pads.
  15. If his concentration and route running both improve, you're looking at a guy that has deep speed with the ability to run over people. He's my early candidate for most improved if Josh can get him the ball.
  16. I never really liked the name "Bills" much anyways. "Bisons" just makes a lot more sense. That was the original team name.
  17. Otherwise known as The Big Bidet. Kinda gives "bowl" a whole new meaning.
  18. I hope Rogers is coming to Buffalo. This team could beat anyone more often than not with Rogers. We'd win SB's with Rogers.
  19. They need to win the AFCE and make a deep run into the playoffs first. Also, Beane's guys must be the ones making the difference -- especially the high draft picks.
  20. Last season was 1 of Lo's top 2 years in Buffalo. How much longer can he continue?
  21. With all of his physical traits, Dareus could have been the best DL in the NFL if he'd wanted it badly enough. What a shame to throw that away.
  22. Makes me want to cry. We could have had him and we let him slip through our fingers. We'd be winning a lot of SB's with Mahomes at QB.
  23. Did you mean Frank Lewis and Marlin "The Magician" Briscoe? I'm in no hurry to offload Brown. He just had his best season to date.
  24. He'd be an upgrade until Knox learns to catch -- exactly. He's not great, but he's still decent. He's a tick or two above average. I'm not saying that any of our other young TE's won't develop into an elite TE, but until then, Njoku would help us win games. I could even imagine him as one of our top 2 receivers in number of receptions if he can develop a chemistry with Josh.
  25. I have to wonder about a salary cap increase, given the current state of the economy. Most of us will have to make do with less than before.
