  1. Listen and you'll hear him say that.
  2. He got targeted a couple of times in the preseason by Caleb Williams, and that stuck out to me.
  3. That's true, but sometimes the auto pick drafts turn out pretty dang good, lol. In my work league last year our CEO auto drafted and he ended with one of the best regular season records. He would have done better if he paid more attention late in the season.
  4. I was honestly surprised Kelce was still there in the 5th. I usually pick him up in round 2 because he is usually such a great fantasy TE, but I wasn't really thinking of him this year until I saw he was still there in the 5th. I think that is great value even if he is getting older and maybe not producing like in his prime. He was still elite in 2023.
  5. Kmet is my backup TE, so I can easily drop him and pick up a free agent if he isn't performing. Ja'Marr Chase went 5th overall in my draft. I checked and his ADP is 7. He will probably be gone by pick 9, but you never know. I think he would be a good pick there.
  6. I took Kelce in round 5, pick 44 (I was picking 4th overall). I took Josh Allen in the 3rd round. I was determined to get him this year. I picked up Shakir in round 11, in case that is interesting. It is a default NFL.com league, which is QB, RB×2, WR×2, TE, W/R, K, DEF. NFL.com switched to PPR being default a couple of years ago, so it is PPR.
  7. Boo hoo.
  8. Here's my draft in a 10 person PPR league: QB1- J.Allen (BUF) QB2- J.Love (GB) RB1- I.Pacheco (KC) RB2- R.White (TB) RB3- J.Connor (ARI) RB4- B.Robinson (WAS) WR1- C.Lamb (DAL) WR2- C.Godwin (TB) WR3- C.Ridley (TEN) WR4- K.Shakir (BUF) TE1- T.Kelce (KC) TE2- C.Kmet (CHI) DEF1- Cowboys DEF2- Buccaneers K- J.Elliot (PHI) I think it's pretty decent. Yeah, Kmet gets completely overlooked. I don't think people realize he was a top 10 TE last year. I have him as my backup TE.
  9. He had the occasional bad play, for sure. But he was a 2nd year player thrust into being a starter after injuries. I thought he had his promising moments. I thought he was ok overall. Not good, but at least ok. Perhaps he has progressed. Regardless, his time as a starter is going to be limited. Cole Bishop will eventually take that job.
  10. Yep, and that is largely due to Diggs. But he forced himself out. And good riddance, honestly. Sometimes, you have to rip off the bandaid and take your medicine. It will be impressive when the Bills make the playoffs and win the division, right? Knox has a contract that seems to keep him in Buffalo through 2025. He has a potential out in 2026. That being said, I thought Diggs had a contract prohibitive of moving on from him, and Beane did it anyway. So, they find a way to move on from the players they want to, that's for sure.
  11. Well, the organization doesn't see it the same way. They want to hang on to those players.
  12. Well, he filled in quite a lot before he had his near death experience, and he did fine. He wasn't a problem at safety.
  13. Why it baffling when they can move around a bit of money and have enough to hang on to their rights in case they need them? IR exists for a reason and every team uses it as much as they want to.
  14. Ty Johnson is both the 2nd AND 3rd string kickoff returner. Impressive!
  15. I'm all for a new alternate. But, new uniforms are almost always worse, and when teams go back to their traditional look, it is almost always better. The Bills did that and now they have great uniforms. It is the novelty bias, that has people excited for change just for change's sake. And organizations that are immersed in their own branding 24/7 get sick of it and want to change the look, even if changes are not really warranted.
  16. The only game I have been to in Buffalo was in, like 2011 I think? The Bills were not good. However, the game went to overtime and Fitzpatrick sealed the loss with a pick, like he tended to do. It was a December game and was cold. We were at about the 50 yard line maybe like 20 or 30 rows from the field, so pretty good seats, I think. We spent probably 60% of the time sitting and 40% standing. Everyone stood up during exciting portions or important downs, and sat down when it wasn't. I've found that to be the norm at every other stadium I've been to. So, if that has changed and people stand for the entire game, first, why? Why not sit some of the time? Standing is always an option during exciting moments. Second, that sounds kind of miserable, especially for older people, and women and children who are shorter and can't see over other people who are standing. I'm 6'3" and so that isn't an issue for me, but what do kids do?
  17. What a shame. He is great when you keep him happy. And then he isn't. I wish his mental space didn't so heavily determine his play on the field. He was downright bad the last half of the season. Allen's numbers throwing to him were atrocious. I'm glad a volatile guy like him is no longer in the picture. But he sure produced some great years for Buffalo.
  18. To be honest, I feel a mixture of all of them. So, I didn't vote.
  19. Hmm. I guess I would have pointed to positive turning points. Each season had its low points, but they seemed to turn it around and go on good runs to end the season and go into the playoffs looking strong.
  20. I sure hope we beat Houston. I'll be at that game with my son.
  21. I'll just take your word for it.
  22. Dang. Shot through the chest: "Per Sean Cunningham of Fox40, Pearsall was shot through the chest. It happened during a robbery attempt. The suspect tried to steal Pearsall’s Rolex as he was making his way to an autograph signing. According to the report, Pearsall and the suspect struggled for the gun. Both were shot. Both are in stable condition at San Francisco General Hospital."
  23. Who is saying that? You can say what you want about McDermott, but his ability to develop safeties and corners is without match in the NFL. He has proven it everywhere he has been, with low draft picks, high draft picks, UDFA's, and free agents. It's the one thing about McDermott that should never be questioned. Does that mean every guy he coaches will be a pro bowler? No, but he gets the most out of them.
  24. Nope. And plenty of people reported that he looked good as well. Not just me.
  25. He looked pretty good in the preseason to me.
