  1. Well, we have a legitimate X now, so hopefully that fixes things.
  2. Edwards was mostly a backup in Kansas City, wasn't he? I know he played some there, and he started in Tampa Bay for a few years. I just think fans are thinking he is way better than he actually is. He is probably a similar caliber player to Hamlin.
  3. Well, it is true. I guess everyone forgot? Hamlin was a standout in camp and preseason and the other safeties got hurt. So, Hamlin is the starter. And now there is this strange trend of everyone dumping on him. He has not been playing badly. Not great either. But, I suppose there always needs to be a whipping boy.
  4. I imagine he will, but 75 is a lot. It depends how quickly Allen declines physically and stops running as much.
  5. Hamlin outplayed him and won the job.
  6. I'll go with Bernard on defense and Coleman on offense.
  7. Josh Allen is also 7th in rushing yards with 3,789. It is pretty possible that he could finish his career 3rd behind OJ and Thurman. He just needs to pass Fred Jackson at 5,646. McCoy, Henry, and Cribbs are the other players ahead of him.
  8. So, Franklin caught a few passes against a dive bombing team and we are all crying now that we didn't draft him? This reminds me of the Isaiah Hodgins drama when he went to the Giants and fans were freaking out that he caught a few passes there.
  9. Yes. He has a ways to go to catch Cam Newton with 75.
  10. Josh Allen currently has 56 rushing TDs, 3rd all-time in Bills history behind OJ Simpson and Thurman Thomas. If he scores one more, he'll be tied for 2nd with OJ at 57. He only needs 9 more to tie Thurman Thomas. Josh Allen will likely pass both of them at some point and have the most rushing TDs in Bills history. And if he can manage 60 more passing TDs in his career (likely), he'll have both the most passing TDs and rushing TDs in Bills history. Pretty incredible.
  11. We won last week. That means we can pause projecting every single player known to man to the Bills. I thought we agreed about this!!
  12. He makes impact plays. That can't be ignored. I think he is really promising.
  13. He'd be an excellent guy to keep if we had an elite pass rusher opposite from him. But, we don't. It is the one thing we have not managed to get in this era of the Bills. If only Von Miller didn't get hurt... and then suspended.
  14. Those are some extensive notes. Nice work.
  15. I absolutely HATE the cartoon bull crap they have on MNF and SNF. It is so unprofessional, cheap looking, and just in poor taste. Who do they think likes that crap? Even my 8-year-old son thinks it is dumb. Get rid of that and the quality increases significantly.
  16. He was always going to dress and play. The question is his snap share. I'm guessing he'll be around 25 to 30% of the snaps.
  17. I've said this elsewhere, but I think the league lacks truly elite superstars. We just came out of an era of larger than life superstars, especially at the QB and WR positions. Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers in his prime, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, Larry Fitzgerald, Marvin Harrison, Calvin Johnson, etc. I just don't think the elites of today match up to the elites of 10 or 15 years ago besides Pat Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Justin Jefferson. There are still some great players, and I think the talent at QB is perhaps deeper. There are more good QB's, but fewer of the truly elite, legendary type QB's. We really were spoiled. We do have some awesome pass rushers today, though. TJ Watt, Nick Bosa, Garrett Wilson, Maxx Crosby, etc. are really amazing talents. But we don't have many super elites at CB or safety anymore, partially because of how the game has changed. And the last thing I'll mention is the lack of interest in other teams because the Bills have been so good and Josh Allen is so fun to watch. It really does make the rest of the teams, outside of a few, look boring. It's a blessing and a curse. During the drought, I watched other teams and wished that the Bills looked like them. Now, I watch other teams and just wish I was watching the Bills and Josh Allen.
  18. That's nasty.
  19. Bills: 27 Titans: 13
  20. How about McDermott incorporating John Brown, Stef Diggs, and Cole Beasley? Those guys came in and had the best stats of their careers. The other guys just sucked. Amari Cooper is a real receiver with real talent. I'm surprised by Samuel, but he legitimately looks bad out there, and not just slower, he doesn't track the ball well or run good routes. He isn't separating. Maybe he is dealing with injuries, or maybe he just doesn't have it anymore. Either way, you can't force guys to be good and play well. It isn't just about putting them into position to succeed. They also have to perform well.
  21. I guess the two tryout guys didn't impress. They signed someone else.
  22. McManus sucks. Go look at his numbers. He is at 81.4% for his career. In 2022 he was at 77.8%. He is terrible.
  23. The Bills choose to sacrifice run defense to defend the pass. They give opposing offenses light boxes and invite them to run. And when the Bills offense scores points, it forces opposing teams out of their rushing offenses. It is a good recipe when it works, which it often does, but it means they are going to give up some rushing yards. When they actually stack the box and try to stop the run, they often do it pretty effectively. So, it is a choice. It isn't that they suck at run defense. They choose to focus efforts elsewhere.
  24. I'm not talking about a 6 game sample. I'm talking about their careers.
  25. The Chiefs have a better QB (at least more consistent with a higher floor), a better head coach, a better defensive coordinator, a better oline, a better kicker, and yes, a better pass rusher. The Chiefs are better for many reasons. They are just way less volatile than the Bills are. When the Bills are clicking, they are the best team in the league. When they aren't, they can be mediocre. Nobody should flame about Allen. Allen is awesome, but he is much more volatile than Mahomes.
