  1. Well I guess you better get used to him. He's going to be the coach for a long time.
  2. This is the dumbest thread. What a load of bull.
  3. Seemed fine. I did notice Poyer slipped when he tried coming back for a tackle, but it was also rainy and wet on the field.
  4. The one kick I saw yesterday he rotated the ball perfectly. I didn't see on the missed kick. I'm assuming he's working on it. And holding kicks seems like something that can easily be improved by simply getting more practice reps and just putting in the time. Does Barkley have experience holding kicks? Or would he be starting from square 1?
  5. You can develop and improve your players AND win games. Do you think Bojo was at all to blame for the loss yesterday?
  6. Yeah, Fitz is a roller coaster. The Dolphins are fine to get their rookie some snaps. Although, I'm surprised they didn't let him sit and learn longer. Unless they have been really impressed with Tua in practice and think he gives them a better shot.
  7. He does well on the long ones. He needs to work on the shorter ones to pin teams deep. And obviously the holding for kicks has been a big issue. But I'm not too worried about him punting, which is nice.
  8. Is Miami a good team suddenly? Raiders and Patriots are better than them.
  9. With Lock back they won't beat the Broncos, likely. And the Bengals have been playing teams tough. That's kit a gimmee. No way they go 2-2 against the Chiefs, Patriots, Raiders, and Bills. Maybe they get 1 of those. Likely none. 7 wins for them.
  10. Well yeah, but it was a different game. Not just because defenders could actually play, but because things like the spread offense were less used. QB's were expected to take a deep drop back almost every time and push the ball down the field. The quick passing game was not yet as prevalent. The screen game wasn't as big. All those things that pad the stats, including completion percentage.
  11. It was a fine strategy. This was one of the best offenses in football. The Bills offense needed to score more points, plain and simple. It was a bend but don't break strategy. They let Mahomes get too many yards on the ground. They didn't get enough pressure on him. Other than that, I'm fine with the defensive approach, and honestly the results, too. The offense has to be able to do more. Dropped passes, missed passes by Allen, poor run blocking, and then Allen sealed the defeat with his late turnover. People can blame the defense if they want, but I think it's unrealistic to hold such a high powered offense to below what we held them to. The Chiefs are going to get their yards and points.
  12. Different positions. I don't think that's the case at all. But let's hope they are back.
  13. Harrison Phillips is 6'3" and 306 pounds. I don't think he is undersized. Anyway, stopping the run is not the important thing this game. Getting pressure on Mahomes is. That's likely why Phillips is inactive. And Murphy isn't really that good regardless
  14. Well no, he actually WAS playing pretty good last year before the injury. Not sure I would say great, though. But if he isn't playing well right NOW, that's the most important thing. You have to do what you need to win games.
  15. Yay. More Epenesa today. I'm excited to see what he can do
  16. I think that's an old school mentality. Aaron Donald is pretty soft spoken and cerebral. He just also happens to be a freak of nature that can throw guys around. He isn't a "nasty" football player at all. Just get the job done however necessary. If you need to get "nasty" to do it, fine, but don't bring penalties when you do it.
  17. University of Phoenix Stadium (Cardinals) has retractable grass that can be cared for between games. Maybe something similar could happen for the Bills. Roll out the grass into a protected housing between games, then roll it back in for the game.
  18. I'm still working from home, so it's easy to put the game on while I'm "working".
  19. Kelce is the best pass catching TE in the league. There's no such thing as covering him. The Bills will likely give him a heavy dose of Milano (if he's ready to play) and probably some safety help. But nobody really shuts down Kelce. You just have to do your best to make sure he doesn't wreck everything. In fact, the Chiefs have a few players like that...
  20. Your title is longer than your post. First strike. You forgot that our linebackers are banged up and have missed multiple games. Second strike. You use nothing to support your opinion. Third strike. You're out!!
  21. I don't think those cheaters deserve their own thread.
  22. The Texans are are 1 win team. But yeah, their win against Buffalo was nice.
  23. Denver almost lost it for themselves. What was Lock thinking throwing it deep!? Glad the defense stopped them.
  24. Patriots 2nd? In the AFC? You have problems.
