That Allen stiff arm picture is pretty sweet.

Wallace interception spot/Camera angles

They clearly got it right. Allen was wrong, then. He started his slide about a yard short. -
Wallace interception spot/Camera angles

He began his slide before the first down marker. When you begin your slide it is immediately dead. Give it another watch. -
Collinsworth - Credit where credit is due.....
MJS replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought a lot of his analysis was poor. He'd talk about how the Steelers are getting tons of pressure and Watt is unstoppable, but show a replay of Williams stopping Watt single handedly and Allen having lots of time to throw. A lot of his particular points were just not supported by the replays. Also, it got a little annoying that every time he would mention a player he'd say "they just love this guy". It's like, yeah, they're on the 53 man roster so that means they probably like all their guys, but come on... -
Still, Bass needs to kick it lower so it's not a judgement call for the refs. It's an extra point, not a 60 yarder.

Did D. Williams Make a LOT of $ Tonight?
MJS replied to Richard Noggin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not exactly. He got some pressures on Allen and forced him to get rid of the ball sooner. Or move away from the pressure. But yes, Williams did a nice job for sure. -
He scored TD's in the last two games and likely would have scored one in this one if the defender hadn't committed the PI at the goal line.

Week 14 Bills vs Steelers SNF PreGame Thread
MJS replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's one of those games where no outcome would be surprising. Super high scoring. Super low scoring. A blowout for either team. Tightly contested. All outcomes are on the table. -

Yeah, Tua looks pretty ordinary. But he's a rookie. We'll see what happens. -

I want KC to win, but I'd love it if Mahomes falls out of the MVP race... -

Steelers Fans Disrespect The Ralph Statue
MJS replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's the most respectful thing I've ever seen done to a statue. -
Because their "metrics" OFTEN (not sometimes) don't sync with what we see in games. And not just with Allen, with other players too. They have given Sam Darnold some extremely high grades before when you watch him playing pretty badly. And their "metrics" OFTEN (not sometimes) don't align with the actual stats (the ones that can be objectively tracked, not the ones that they make up and are subjective).

It just seemed like Collinsworth has not actually watched him play in a long, long time. Certainly not this year until the 49ers game. And it sounds like he didn't watch him much last year. Apparently he didn't see the Thanksgiving game because that was a good game by Allen. And he certainly didn't see the week 17 Dolphins game his rookie season where Allen accounted for 5 TD's and was over 65% completion percentage and a 114 rating. People saying that Allen is completely different this year just haven't been watching closely. He has had moments of greatness since his rookie year. He just put it all together and is more consistent this year, plus actually has help on offense now. You see our WR's actually making tough catches now, something we haven't had for awhile (we saw it some last year too). None of us expected him to be THIS good this year, but it doesn't mean he is a completely different player. A guy like Collinsworth doesn't watch the Bills unless he has to. He watches the "big" games and "big" teams and relies on the stats for everything else.
