Give it a rest, buddy. How long will your crusade against this team last?
Allen is top 10 in passing yards and passing TD's and has gotten his team to 6 wins. He is top 10 in passer rating. 13 QB's have thrown more INT's than him (he's tied at 5 INT's with 8 other QB's). He is top 5 in QBR. 67% passer completion percentage.
It's just dumb to continue to talk about how bad he has been playing.
No, we had a good coach in place and would soon have a good GM for Mahomes.
You think our team would have been good enough to compete with Wilson and everything else the same?
Took a team to the Superbowl and went to the conference championships twice besides that, was coach of the year in 2011, and has a win/loss record of 44-19-1.
He is an excellent coach. He's a lot to deal with and comes with some drama, but he really is a good coach.
The 49ers were hot garbage after he left for a long time until just recently.
I just don't think we had the talent, coaches, or divisional position to have done much with Wilson. We still would have had NE to deal with in the division. We still had subpar coaches, a subpar GM, etc. Still had Russ Brandon...
Pretty premature to say Jackson has been regressing.
I do think that every running QB is going to have to progress as a passer in order to stick in this league long-term. Sooner or later defenses will figure out how to contain you and you will HAVE to beat them from the pocket. But Jackson has thrown it well in games before, and there's no reason to think he can't in the future.
And they played two of the best teams in the league and had two bad weather games.
You've shown to be quite a miserable poster here. And I KNOW that if we beat the Seahawks you'll still focus on the negatives and make excuses for the OTHER team. That's who you are.
And another INT was a miscommunication with Diggs.
And of course we have the early season INT that actually WASN'T an INT.
I don't have a problem with Allen's turnovers this year. Flukes and miscommunication. But unfortunately they all count.
Well that's pretty silly. If you add 1.5 wins to the Dolphins we are still .5 wins ahead of them.
It should be simple. We are 2 wins ahead of them. Period. And we have the tie breaker since we beat them.
I disagree. Sorry. The advantage is avoiding all risk and ensuring he is ready for week 1.
The talk is that Morse had the injury a couple plays earlier but stayed out there until he went to his knee. I haven't watched it myself, but on OBL they speculated about that because he took a glancing blow to the side of the helmet on one of the first plays.
