  1. How are those plays even similar at all? In one there is a huge hole to cut back into. In the other there are two defenders sprinting towards Singletary in the cutback lane. Someone thought there was a hole there?
  2. It's pretty hilarious that a lot of fans have just given up on the team, but everyone in the national media is giving the Bills a pass for a horrible loss. Everything is backwards. We used to have to get the national media to take our WINS seriously.
  3. This is the most unpredictable season I can remember. So many upsets. It's crazy.
  4. The Lions are a trash organization. The fact that he has gotten that team to the playoffs is impressive enough to me. I'm not one of those "wins aren't a QB stat" kind of guys, but in this particular instance, I don't think Stafford has ever really had a shot to show what he can do until now.
  5. Huh. I think Stafford is a really good QB. He is putting up MVP caliber numbers this year. Yes, he had a tough game, but that seems to be the story this year in the NFL.
  6. The more I hear the talk about Daboll and the offensive coaches like Bobby Johnson being a big part of the problem, the more I think that is the likely culprit. We've seen all of these offensive linemen have good games. They have all shown promise besides maybe Ford. Williams was good last year. Feliciano has had good stretches. Morse was considered one of the top centers in the league before coming here, now he seems like he is average or maybe above average. We've seen good play from Dawkins. We've even seen Ike and Bates play well before. Brown, as a rookie, has flashed many times. They just don't play well as a unit. Maybe they don't communicate well enough. Maybe they aren't preparing well enough. While I agree that we do not have elite guys, they should be able to be a serviceable line. They shouldn't go entire games playing badly as an entire unit. The individual pieces, I think, are better than the sum. And we've seen some of our castoff linemen go to other teams and play well. That has to be coaching and preparation, right? Does the blocking scheme not align well with the players? They seem slow out of their stances sometimes. They aren't planning well this year in how to take away or help mitigate the big time players of opposing defenses, instead allowing those players to get one-on-one matchups and sometimes free rushes. So maybe a coaching or line scheme change is in order.
  7. I hate Belichick way more than Brady.
  8. It's bigger than it has ever been. And the Bills were pretty banged up by then. Beasley had a broken leg.
  9. As long as he doesn't take targets away from Kupp. I need him to keep producing for my fantasy team.
  10. Cam used to routinely take hits to the head, even while still in the pocket, and would not get flags. It was a real thing for a couple seasons back in the day. I do not like Cam, but that was a real issue for awhile and in my opinion it was a completely legitimate claim, at the time. I remember watching some games and being completely amazed that he was not getting flags. Defenders were completely teeing off on him. And I'm talking about passing plays, not him as a runner.
  11. Exactly right. What more can we ask of him? A lot of that stuff just comes with the territory of being a starting QB, be he is dodging free rushers on almost every single play. It's ridiculous. And with defenders in his face actively hitting him, fans say "well, he should have hit that open receiver or checked it down" like it's a simple thing. I'm fine with asking him to do a lot, but you have to protect him, at least.
  12. That's normal, though.
  13. This is a comically bad take.
  14. The Bills came into the game with the top scoring offense in the league. So why is it now impossible for their offense to be effective? People are acting like it is impossible for this team to recover from the Jags game.
  15. Well, that's where I think you are mistaken. In the NFL, there really aren't garbage teams. The difference between one team and the next is closer than you realize. The Jags are one of the worst teams in the league, but I was reminded that they still have professional athletes who can perform at a high level. Miles Jack is a quality player. Josh Allen (theirs) is a heck of a player too. Trevor Lawrence was a #1 overall draft pick. So, even though, relatively, they are not good compared to the NFL as a whole, they still have the athletes that can get it done from time to time. And if the opposing team comes out flat, no matter who it is, they can get beaten. There's no excuse from the Bills perspective. They should have won the game. They screwed up. But the Jags came out and performed well enough to beat the Bills. They exploited their strengths and our weaknesses to their advantage. Do I think they could do it again? Probably not. I think the Bills beat them 9 times out of 10.
  16. It wouldn't be such a necessity if the offensive line could block for him. But yeah, the more tools in his toolbox that he has, the better.
  17. Already angry by what you guess the coach has said? Not even by what he actually said. Wow.
  18. Allen has never been a QB that gets the ball out quickly. He extends the play and tries to allow for routes to develop. Sometimes it hurts you, but often times it helps you. He is never going to be a guy who consistently gets the ball out in 2 seconds. That's not who he is.
  19. Perhaps that's why the Packers are being fined so much. They failed to enforce the protocols with Rodgers (because they are scared of him).
  20. Exactly. His stats are miraculous given the horrible run blocking.
  21. How are they with 0.22 yards before contact? Are they able to teleport through defenders as soon as they touch the ball? That's what we need.
  22. After a tough loss many Bills fans retreat under the covers and cry for awhile, thinking the Bills will never win another game. All the drought and super bowl insecurities flood back. But in a couple weeks when the Bills have shown that they are still a good team, the perpetual naysayers will be forced back under their slimy rocks and everything will be fine again.
  23. He's an idiot if he goes to the Pats. That offense is one where you might get targeted a bunch one week, and then go three straight weeks without any. They've been like that for a long time. It's why you can't trust Patriots in fantasy football (or in anywhere else in life).
  24. Case closed. You filled in all the blanks. No need for even a trial now!
