  1. Josh also puts pressure on the oline by holding onto the ball longer than most QB's, leading to more pressures and more hurries. It's a give and take.
  2. Already discussed extensively. And there is no evidence it's true anyway.
  3. What does this thinking really provide? Spain is an ok player who had a hissy fit for getting benched after he played badly and had a bad attitude. He then forced himself off the team. The Bills were right to not be ok with any of that. The fact that the Bengals are surprisingly playing in the Super bowl this year is irrelevant to what happened a couple of years ago. Was Spain better off with his handful of wins last year in Cincinnati watching the Bills in the AFC Championship game? Neither of those scenarios are relevant. I guess that didn't work out for him last year.
  4. The Bengals are not in the Superbowl because of their oline. Their oline isn't good.
  5. Spain has not proved that he is one of the best guards in the league. The Bengals have a poor oline. Spain is average.
  6. Good. If you are sucking it up, you deserve to get benched or to have talent brought in to compete with you, no matter how much you get paid. Glad we moved on from him.
  7. This wouldn't even work in Madden.
  8. Reading that was a waste of time. It's just a bunch of "rumors" based on no evidence at all.
  9. Come on. We don't need this inferiority complex anymore. Mac Jones would be throwing to him.
  10. I think they are perennially overrated, personally. Regardless of expectations, I think they are not a top tier team in terms of talent, potential, or results. They have big names who should not be as big as they are. Dak is overrated, Cooper is overrated, Elliot is overrated, etc. They play in a below average division, too. I think part of why they are overrated is because of which franchise it is and media talking heads.
  11. I doubt a lot of players really take these lists seriously, other than a few. They just list a bunch of players they know and like. Personal bias is going to be rampant in all of these lists. There are some players that they like to prop up, as do the media, and Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray are among those.
  12. Who is underrating the AFC East? People are still on the Pats train. Before the season people expected the Dolphins to be a lot better. Obviously, the Bills are viewed as a top tier team. I think most people who follow the league would think the AFC East is a relatively strong division, albeit with a bad Jets team. As for the titans, they have won playoff games in recent seasons, but the Cowboys haven't.
  13. I don't think Allen will make the top 10 this year. He was 10th last year, but I think the prevailing narrative around the league for Allen is that he regressed in 2021, so we'll probably see him drop a few spots. The fans voted Allen to the pro bowl, but Allen lost out due to worse voting from the players and coaches. Of course, Lamar Jackson will be propped up by the players even though his 2021 season wasn't great. They might rank him higher than Allen this year. I think Allen is definately a top 10 player in the league now and he will come at the NFL with a vengeance next season. I'm looking forward to it.
  14. Dallas can't even win a playoff game. They shouldn't be in the top tier.
  15. Who will call plays?
  16. So he's cheaper.
  17. We should. Cam Jordan, maybe? Alvin Kamara?
  18. The Saints need to cut like all their players to make the cap work. I think they will have a seriously tough time winning games next year. There is about to be a mass exodus of talent from that team. I'm sure everyone involved understands that it will take awhile to rebuild.
  19. These are decent depth guys who will not be expensive. What is the point of going out and replacing them with similar caliber players or wasting draft picks to fill the roster with these types? They know the system, they are good depth, and they likely won't be expensive.
  20. I'd try to re-sign the following: Ike Boettger Harrison Phillips Levi Wallace (but he might be too expensive) Justin Zimmer Efe Obada (If he is really cheap) And I would put a 2nd round tender on Ryan Bates.
  21. It's obvious now why they fired him. There was real friction between Flores and the Dolphins owner, about tanking and about personell choices. I think Flores would have gotten one of the jobs without his lawsuit.
  22. My thoughts are we need to see who we get in free agency / trades before we know what the Bills need in the draft. However, I would not be opposed to a highly drafted cornerback with elite physical traits. There's a lot of speculation on what actually happened in this post. Any sources to back this up? You hate the team? This is the best team we have had in decades.
  23. I guess McCown wants to watch his boys play high school football another season. He'll be ready and all in next year!
  24. I completely disagree that Poyer's play fell off this year. I think this has been his best year as a Bill. I agree with most everything else, though. Nice job. I could see moving on from Wallace because I think he is about to get paid. He is a consistent starter since coming in the league on one of the top passing defenses, and he just had his best season as a pro filling in many games for Tre White as the #1 corner. There are other teams with far greater need at corner than the Bills who will shell out some money for him.
  25. Are they still Facebook friends? I need to know...
