  1. In what world is an injury to your franchise QB's throwing elbow a good thing?
  2. I'm going on what McDermott has been saying and what the team has done. He said day to day and even said hour to hour. And then Allen practiced on Friday. Allen is questionable for the game, not doubtful. Everything from the Bills shows Allen is close to being ready to play. Doesn't mean he will, but this doesn't seem like a multi-week thing.
  3. But those doctors have no information about the actual injury. They haven't seen x-rays. They haven't evaluated Allen. All they have to go on is the game footage.
  4. He is a good player. Glad to have him back.
  5. I think it is much less severe than those 3rd party doctors think. Allen played in practice on Friday. I could easily see it as a thing where they decided out of caution and said "we'll just rest it all week and get you some reps on Friday and see how you feel."
  6. Well, if you are scheming for Allen you probably are prepared to spy him. That's a useless defender if Allen doesn't play. So you, as the spy, prepared all week to spy Josh Allen, and now you are being asked to do something else. Likely, you prepared for both, but having your attention divided does not help. That's one example. I'm sure there are others. Another thing is you don't really have much film on him with the Bills, so you have to go back to film from previous years on other teams. All in all, though, you would absolutely choose to face Keenum regardless of the slight disadvantages that come from not knowing if Allen is going to play or not.
  7. The lockerroom interviews always puzzled me. How about we let those guys get clean and dressed and not invade their lockerroom? Do interviews before or after. So weird that it is culturally acceptable in sports.
  8. Snyder is going up in flames and the vultures are swooping in to see if they can get a piece before it is too late.
  9. How is this cheating? Is it against the rules? He didn't promise never to do it. He said "I don't know if we would ever do that." Now he knows. The answer is: yes, he would do that.
  10. We've seen this before because it happens to every single team every single year. That's football. Every team goes through a tough stretch of games and needs to change things up and get back on track.
  11. "The Colts" don't know how to do anything. It's the general manager, coaches, and other front office staff. Those people who did those things are gone.
  12. They should have actually tried to draft a QB instead of just going with old retreads every year.
  13. The past two games it has been Allen. Where is Josh Allen from the Rams game? He was so focused. He got the ball out quick. He took the easy passes. He took calculated risks and put his play makers in positions to succeed. He sustained long drives. Then add to that his ability to escape pressure and make off script plays, plus his ability to run it. He was absolutely unstoppable. Allen needs to get back to that. He needs to come out next week and get the quick pass game going again. Dump it off to Singletary and Cook. Yes, take a shot here and there. Then the deep stuff and impactful plays will open up. But Allen needs to be more focused and read the defense.
  14. I don't think that is healthy or normal. If football affects you so deeply, it might be best to take a break. Football is a game. It is supposed to entertain you.
  15. Allen drank his own kool-aid. He just needs to focus and get back to work and forget that he is a superstar.
  16. Did you listen to White this week? It's obvious he is not confident enough to come back yet.
  17. Josh Allen SHOULD defend him. No really, line Josh up as a linebacker and go sack Zach Wilson.
  18. The Bills have been one of the more injured teams to start the year. It just is not talked about as much nationally because the Bills have been winning still.
  19. I predict... game day inactive.
  20. I don't usually question injury issues for players. I know how hard it is to play injured. But the Michael Thomas situation the past two years is just strange. He basically missed most of 2020 with an ankle sprain. Misses 2021 after an ankle surgery (why didn't he have it done sooner if it was that bad? And why did it take a full year to come back from?). And again this year, he is injured and misses a bunch of weeks, then decides to get surgery, ensuring he'll miss the rest of the season. So, he basically missed 3 seasons because of a sprained ankle and a dislocated toe. That's not normal, I don't think.
  21. I feel like he has been doing his best to collect his paychecks the past two years and play as little as possible.
  22. Just admit it. You know nothing about the South.
  23. This. There are places in this country where football at all levels is revered and will continue to be until the end of time. In the South Football is like a religion.
  24. Oh, he for sure embellishes hits. And he certainly complains to refs for calls. He is an NFL quarterback. They all do it, or at least the good ones do. Allen has admitted to holding onto the ball a little longer to try to get a hit and draw a roughing penalty. We've seen him embellish hits on the sideline, or go down after a small hit after a throw. He for sure does it. BUT I agree that it is nothing different about him. Allen doesn't do it more than other QB's.
  25. The Bills already have one of the best pressure rates in the league, so there is no need to blitz. Getting pressure without blitzing is the gold standard for defenses.
