  1. With the amount of vitriol being spewed by Dolphins fans toward Buffalo, I'd say it is pretty close, at least for them. It is akin to how Bills fans felt toward the Patriots. The Bills have been stomping them pretty hard for a few years now. Plus, there is the hate Josh Allen has for Wilkins. Does that make it a rivalry? I'd say so. But Bills vs Chiefs seems like a bigger rivalry. The Chiefs have the upper hand, but at least the games are close and the Bills beat them often in the regular season.
  2. Elite arm talent and physical traits. But I think Lamar Jackson is a top 5 QB in the NFL. He is unique, though.
  3. I've learned since then that the safe choice is never the right choice when it comes to QB. Draft the guy who has the ability to be elite physically and hope for the best. The QB position is not what it used to be. It isn't enough to be a cerebral pocket passer who can make the right read and deliver it with accuracy. You have to be at least somewhat of a dual threat. You have to make off-schedule plays. You have to do things that make people's jaw drop from time to time.
  4. I don't blame him. With only Washington left, he'd be back coordinating in two years and might not get another shot as HC.
  5. No, defenses were much better this year. Offenses struggled. The Chiefs struggled all year, and even in the playoffs they still relied on great defense and a running game. Offenses have countered to using more tight ends and heavier packages, which has in turn led to defenses using more linebackers and heavier personnel. It's always a cat and mouse game. But the best offenses this year used multiple tight ends and running backs. Spread offenses are not in style anymore.
  6. I feel bad for Wilson. If your coach tells you that you are getting traded at the end of the season and that you'll be inactive the rest of the season, of course he didn't want to come back and play for them. Saleh is a thin skinned moron.
  7. Baker Mayfield is interesting. He is talented and has that it factor at times, but he also has a tendency to make the big mistake when it matters. The NFL actually has a lot of QB talent today. I remember about 8 to 10 years ago or so being a little worried about QB talent with all the old greats like Manning, Brady, Rodgers, and Brees still elite, but not really any young talent coming up under them. I worried what the game would look like when those guys started to retire. But, there is a lot of talent today, although fewer slam dunk elite guys.
  8. 1) Pat Mahomes 2) Josh Allen 3) Joe Burrow 4) Lamar Jackson 5) Justin Herbert 6) Brock Purdy 7) Dak Prescott 8 ) Matthew Stafford 9) Jalen Hurts 10) Tua Tagovailoa There's a big drop off after the top 4. But I think there is a significant difference between Lamar Jackson and the top 3 as well. I also struggle to put Justin Herbert that high, but I'd rather have him as my QB than anyone under him. Honorable mentions are Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins, Jared Goff, and Jordan Love (love can really vault up the list next year with another strong year). Same with CJ Stroud.
  9. Well, I'd like to see him go. That would be fun to see him. Hopefully he will one of these years.
  10. Babich was a hot candidate, and there can be an argument that it would be better for him to leave and coordinate for a team without a defensive head coach, but he chose to stay.
  11. They had a great draft. And they proved all the "draft gurus" who hated their draft wrong. Good for them.
  12. If he wasn't such a malcontent and cheap shot artist he would be a decent backup. But I don't want him anywhere near the Bills.
  13. So stupid. Maybe they should find out if he is any good at it first.
  14. This is not unique to the Bills. It is played a lot of places.
  15. Oh, wow. This is the worst argument yet. And it makes no sense. What have the Chiefs monopolized? Having Pat Mahomes? He is a single person. He can't be divided among the teams. They clearly DON'T have an unfair advantage because they lost games this year. They were the 3rd seed in the playoffs. And the Bills beat them once and took them to the very end in the playoffs as well, taking them to overtime a couple of years ago.
  16. Nobody has a problem with you suggesting a change to how the NFL is structured. They have a problem with your reasons. You don't change something because a team is good and keeps winning.
  17. The argument is he wants the Bills to have an easier path to the superbowl. That's really all.
  18. They are already a dynasty.
  19. McDermott has done way more than Campbell. That would be a dumb trade.
  20. Not to mention that McDermott has beaten Harbaugh and Jackson in the playoffs...
  21. They have the superstars. We don't. That's the biggest difference. They have Mahomes, Kelce, and Jones who consistently make the plays in the big moments. We only have Josh Allen. Diggs isn't that guy anymore, for some reason.
  22. Good for Dorsey. I hope he does well.
  23. Maybe we can get some injury luck next year. And some better receivers.
  24. I don't care. But if the Bills have to keep losing to the Chiefs, it might as well be because the Chiefs are the best team in the NFL and perennial champions.
