  1. Wow. Just a few years longer ago than that Super Bowl win the Jet fans won't shut up about.
  2. Both teams come in reeling off games they should have won (on paper). There's only 17 games so this is big for both teams. Both should be pretty desperate for the win. I think Baltimore wins this one.
  3. Why do I feel like Gabe Davis will catch everything thrown his way Monday night?
  4. If you have multiple restraining orders from current and former Bills players because you send them a new jock strap as a gift for EVERY holiday. Even the made up "Hallmark" ones
  5. Benched for Andy Dalton. Ouch.
  6. I felt like everything shifted after the Bengals playoff loss. It had kind of been building all season. There were a few times he was a bit animated and overly emotional during a game. I even remember once McDermott having to hug Diggs during a game and calm him down. That all led to the playoffs, which saw him freak out again on the sideline. Which then led to him trying to leave the locker room before the coaches even came back in after the game. I personally feel like the Bills and Josh were doing their best to coddle him. And it took an emotional toll on not only Allen but the entire organization. That Bengal Playoff loss to me was the straw that broke the camels back. I liked Diggs. Still do to an extent. But I've been around people like that before. Those that it's never anything huge...but there's always something surrounding them. It gets to be too much. I think the offense being able to naturally evolve without him is a net positive. I think him getting out is good for him, too. Sometimes change is needed.
  7. So, I take it Mike McDaniel is not on your Christmas Card list?
  8. I saw him asked about something similar to this last year. He wore a hoodie in heat at practice. When asked his response was along the lines of saying that if he's hot he remembers to hydrate. And if he's hot in just a hoodie the players have to be hotter in pads and running around. So he's hydrating and it serves as an example for his players to stay hydrated and manage reps. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/dolphins/2022/06/03/mike-mcdaniel-sweatshirt-miami-dolphins-practices/7508763001/#:~:text=“Honestly%2C it's the best way, injuries and all that nonsense.”
  9. They've never had great QB play. I can't blame them for being excited. There were plenty of people here doing the same for Josh way too early in his career, too.
  10. Really hope the Bears can pull this one off
  11. Have whatever opinion you want to have...but Taylor Swift's presence at the game motivated my 10 year old daughter to spend the afternoon hanging with Dad watching football today. Laughing, joking, snacking and asking questions about football. Been a great afternoon. Thanks Taylor!
  12. Chase was determined to draw that unsportsmanlike flag there. I suppose he just wants to win more than anyone else, right?
  13. In a one on one comparison of his position, I'd agree there's an obvious downgrade. However, 2 games both over 30 points and it allowing the offense to evolve a bit and be less predictable, Id say the offense as a while is better without him.
  14. Tre getting murderized out there...Poyer looked older and slower Thursday...as tough as it was seeing the fan favorites pushed aside in the off-season...looks to be a good call by Beane.
  15. I kinda wanted to see Russ Wilson vs the Broncos Revenge game. But between Nix and Fields whatever the combination pass yards bet was...take the under.
  16. Personally, if he wants to play, let him play. It's always easy to sit back and make decisions like this for someone else. But we don't see his brain scans, don't know what he's physically going through post concussion wise or anything like that. If Tua was my kid this is what I'd tell him. Forget about all the "gotta be there for your team" nonsense. Go see the doctor. Then go see another one. Then go see a third. And just because you can afford it, go see a fourth. Get all the information you need to make a decision from as many independent doctors as you can. Don't listen to the media. Detach from the team for a few weeks. Then make that decision.
  17. It's not abnormal. McDermott has a bad rep for being too conservative and at one point it wasn't unwarranted. In his first 2 or 3 seasons McDermott played the field position game. A lot. But that was with a roster that boasted a young and very rough around the edges Josh Allen at QB. Kelvin Benjamin as the WR1. Guys like Mike Tolbert and Chris Ivory at RB. Not a great OL. McDermott has been good at making decisions based on the team he's coaching. As the offense got stronger/better players he's been very aggressive.
  18. I do think Brady streamlined the amount of routes that were up to both the QB and WR to read the same thing and have the option of what route to run. Far too often last year we clearly saw that Davis and Josh were not on the same page.
  19. Guy just signed a contract for something like $160M guaranteed. Why do regular hard working folks have such a fetish for giving money to millionaires?
  20. Van Ginkle was a heck of a player for them too. Big loss. Miami has done what Miami always does. They trade draft picks and big FA money on big names. OBJ signing is a good example. Guy is pretty washed, doesn't really seem to blend with what they do and way more costly then a comparable player. But he has name recognition. The Dolphins aren't so much a cohesive team as they are a collection of talented players. And there's a big difference.
  21. Dang it, I was hoping for more letter grades that would cheese people off.😂
  22. AJ Klein is revving up the RV right now...
  23. It would take an owner that likes to make big splashes, needs WR help and would think he's the missing piece to a Super Bowl run. He's not getting traded, but if I had to guess who would make the call with an offer...Dallas is my bet.
  24. Hey for a change we can ALL be happy when Gabe Davis drops a few balls
  25. Way early to think about. But for the sake of argument, I believe Brady has had a couple HC interviews already in the past. I'd say that indicates he's already bon the NFL Head Coach radar.
