  1. Welp, we will see how the team reacts to some adversity in a game. Will we get Low Positive Josh, Sugar Rush Josh....or Scorched Earth Josh?
  2. Smooth, dirty and dumb move.
  3. Good kick. Was crucial we come away with something there.
  4. That run by DH amy have gotten Lamar another MVP
  5. It's gonna be a loooong night
  6. Ray Lewis is killing this opening segment...
  7. Right? I mean at some point Lucy isn't going to yank the football away and Charlie Brown will get to kick it. I wonder if he's got a bad slice to the right when he kicks too....stay tuned.
  8. It's time for the reemergence of Josh Gordon.
  9. Saw the same with the Pats for 20 years. Teams get so tight because they are "playing Mahomes" or "playing Brady" that they psych themselves out and get away from doing what they do well. They pass on easy FGs early and come away with nothing then end up losing a game by a point or two
  10. Would be hysterical to see the Vikings let him walk and he ends up going back to the Jets as a replacement for Rodgers if he retires after the year.
  11. Neither do they...
  12. He does that very well
  13. Cut him slack...he's gotta be like 92 years old now. Yeah, that pick losing value week by week thanks to Darnold. Not sure if he can keep this pace all year, but if he does that Viking team looks legit.
  14. Hopkins? DHop? Yes, if kicker Dustin Hopkins becomes available I would trade for him. Liked him when we drafted him, anyway.
  15. The fact that Elway didn't pick Allen has always baffled me. Elway is my most direct comparison to Josh. Elway was terrible at his job
  16. I'm always appreciative that the Browns and Jets took the wrong QB, The Giants took a RB and Beane made the moves to get "his guy"
  17. The turnover on defense in such a short time along with the continued success of the defense is a testament to Beane's drafting and McDermott's coaching/system.
  18. If Brian Brohm was given a fair chance the Bills would have won multiple Super Bowls and cut the NE/Bill/Brady era in half. Pollution would be at an all time low. We would have flying cars by now.
  19. Ravens may need to shuffle on the OL today. Their LG is expected to be out today. Their C and RT are banged up. And with the way our DL has been playing, this could be an enormous benefit for the Bills. They will also be without NT Michael Pierce, who is a strong force up the middle for them. They really don't have another strong NT behind him. Big boost for the Bills run game.
  20. Very nice breakdowns by many here. Baltimore is weak over the middle, but I think they take Kincaid out with Kyle Hamilton. This will leave Shakir and others to work the middle a bit. I think I like Mack Hollins to have a good day on offense. Defense, they Ravens OL is banged up and will be either starting 1-3 backups or playing guys limited due to injury. I like Ed Oliver and DaQuan Jones to be a force here. They may not get sacks, but they will hold their lane to prevent Lamar from stepping up and out.
  21. He certainly was 2 years ago. Is he still capable? How's he going to play when he comes back? Is it a hit the ground running or a physically not the same situation? All questions that we don't know the answer to. The road to the past of the NFL is littered with players that were once great and injury took them down. Could it happen to Milano? Maybe, maybe not. But December/January football isn't the time to find out. Sure use him if we must. A few situational snaps here and there. But if Williams is playing well, healthy, and the defense is in sync, you stay with the hot hand and figure not out later.
  22. It's more than the cold handshake. There's also the report from the Brian Flores lawsuit that Daboll was willing to leave even if it was a lateral transfer just to get away from McDermott. And seeing how things melted down with Wink Martendale in Jersey...let's just say it's not had to buy that wherever Daboll goes, tension follows. As far as the who else...I am not sure who would be available next season, but on staff right now are a few guys I could see getting interviewed for the spot. DJ Mangas, Ronald Curry and Rob Boras come to mind. Heck, Kromer has had OC duties before as well. So I would guess that's where the search would start.
  23. Nothing is certain in life. But I am as close to certain as can be that Daboll will not be back here. That bridge has apparently been burned.
  24. As crazy as this may sound, when Milano comes back (If Williams is still playing at the level he is now), then Milano is depth. A healthy Milano is better. BUT, coming back in December plugging him back in can disrupt the flow of the defense. If they are rolling with Williams in there...keep it set and let them complete in TC next year for the starting spot This also allows Williams to get a full slate of snaps and build to him being the eventual starter at the position long term. No. They would be basically subbing Milano (or Williams depending on how you look at it) in for Taron, who is an elite player in his own right. We don't play primary Nickel because we don't have good linebackers. It's largely because Johnson is too good to take off the field.
  25. Dallas can't stop the run...so Daboll of course dials up 40 pass plays. Such a Daboll move.
