Which is why I say they will need to move up a bit Here's what I need to see. I need them to identify a guy and go get him. None of the stuff they did a couple years ago. That's where they likely had a group of WRs they liked and would take any of them. So they traded down twice and took Coleman. Basically, they settled for whatever was leftover and we see how that ended up. Beane needs to identify his Vontae Mack and get him no matter what.

I took a look at the WR FA market for next year and it's BLEAK. George Pickens and a bunch of has been and never was. If he's going to remake the WR room like we hope, he's going to have to move up a bit in the draft AND swing a major trade.

All jokes aside there are teams that had him scouted when he came out. They could view him as a guy that would do better in their system. I could see his trade value being anything from a 4th rounder at very best to a late round pick swap at very worst. I don't think he requests a trade. But I do see him possibly retiring a lot earlier than most anticipate to start his post NFL life as healthy as possible. The rumor I heard a few different places was that the 2026 first was wrapped up in Beanes offer to the Jets for Q. Williams.

Daboll benefitted from Josh Allen. Daboll would OFTEN completely abandon the running game. And if you're fed up with Brady and his cute play calls....my friend that is Brian Daboll's bread and butter. The amount of people that don't remember how happy we were to see Daboll head out is mind boggling.

I think this is gonna be a tough one. Tampa has won a bunch of their games late in comeback mode. If we get a lead it's crucial the Bills step on their necks. Side note: today is the perfect day to put the tush push on the shelf. Vita Vea blows that plays up a good amount of the time. Will be interesting to see what Gabe has left and if they incorporate Hardman's speed at all. I'm expecting Samuel to join Coleman on the inactive list today. I think barring injury Samuel has seen his last active game in Buffalo.

Contrary to what we read here, the kid has some talent. He's capable of doing a passable job. That's what frustrates me. He just seems immature and lazy. He doesn't strike me as someone with a good work ethic and a drive to be the best player he can be. I really think that if he put the work in to be excellent at his craft he could be a poor man's Drake London. Instead, he's a rich man's Kelvin Benjamin.

That's a very real possibility as well. He basically earns his jersey for STs this year already. As frustrating as it is for some, we do need a few players like that on the game day roster.

Most likely anyone hired for the position is already on staff. That's just how they do it here. If McDermott looked outside the organization I still like Bobby Slowik. I think he kind of got scapegoated by Houston. But most likely I think we would be looking at either Aaron Kromer or Ronald Curry. Defense is the conundrum. I don't see anyone on staff qualified. I think the most likely outcome there is McDermott calls the def next year and Babich is DC in name only. I could also see McDermott bringing in a guy like Steve Wilks if he's available as Wilks has experience with this type defense.

I agree with this. Palmer will likely stay. I have a hunch Coleman is traded. I don't think Gabe will be back. That leaves Shavers as I don't consider Moore or Samuel outside WRs. Shavers is the Mendoza Line. He's been in the system for a while and is well liked. He's the one that if he makes the team next year, Beane didn't do enough to improve the boundary. Hopefully, he does and Shavers is back to the PS The issue for next year is that the FA WR class is SLIM. There's George Pickens. And that's really it. Yeah, Mike Evans is expected to be a FA, but he will be 33, and guys always seem to re-sign with the Buccaneers for team friendly deals. Other than that....a bunch of JAGS. That's gonna mean if Beane wants to reset the room, he's gonna be forced to look to the draft or swing a big boy trade

That's where I am thinking. I think Hardman gets around 3-5 offensive snaps. I'm guessing he gets an end around attempt and runs a couple deep routes. Basically, he will be in Curtis Samuel's role IMO

For reference, McDermott spent weeks saying the exact same things about Dorsey for a month before he finally canned him. The wording was almost verbatim. Don't take it at face value. You can like it or not like it, but one thing McDermott will always do is give his coordinator a chance to figure things out. As fans, no we won't like it. But as a potential next coordinator will see, they will be given the chance to correct things and not be fired on a whim. That makes for attracting better coaches possible. They are bringing in new WRs tomorrow and shaking it up to see if that helps. This is just as much an evaluation of what Dorsey does with different players as it is on the players themselves. If the Bills lay an egg on offense tomorrow and Thursday, I would lay good money down Brady is gone by Friday morning.

Scratch or not it's looking like his time is winding down in Buffalo. It really feels like he is a trade candidate in the off-season. Would be good for the Bills to get even a late pick swap for him at this point and it may be just what he needs too.

I think it will be something like Samuel and Moore inactive. Davis sees a pretty high snap share leading to fewer for Coleman. Hardman works in for 3-5 offensive snaps. He ends up with a deep target and on carry.

Exactly this. It's also easy to talk without knowing of how things played out. Let's say for the sake of argument, Beane DID win a bidding war. He would have likely had to vastly overpay. Now he sunk all that money into Hollins and Hollins gets injured here. Now he's overpaid and sitting on IR. Pitchforks would still be out in full force that we overpaid a JAG that's sitting on IR.

Pro tip: If you adamantly tell them they do not have your consent to look in your trunk or glove box they will know you are an experienced traveler who knows what's up and they will fast track you through.

Of all the bad decisions and missed picks Beane has had, not re-signing Mack Hollins isn't going to be what costs him his job. From the sounds of it, they made Hollins an offer and it was Hollins's choice to head to New England. Maybe Hollins and his representative told the Bills the offer the Patriots made and Beane passed. Maybe Hollins got the offer and jumped on it. But no one can force a guy to stay if he wants to go.
