Bills 13, Eagles 31 postgame thread
Billever76 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ding ding ding winner winner...also we never see our safeties creep up into run support on obvious running downs and formations...its mind boggling...everyone but our dl is dropping back...frazier thinks he is fooling people with his fake looks of bringing run amd pass blitz but he always sends everyone back into coverage and zone...its been ezposed...and when he does commit run support the damn players cant get into their assigned gaps..prob bc frazier rarley asks them too so its a foreign concept to them..idk thats all i got lmao -
Yea peko is not good
-
I seen him 8 or more yards downfield way too many times last week and today Bring poyer and hyde up also on obvious passing downs with run blitzes...i mean wtf
-
Teams will continue to attack whats working..frazier needs to take mcdermott philosophy of a downhill attack to the ball defense..enkugh with running away from the balll to your desiganted spot bull####!...stop putting our lbers and safeties into zones and let the whole defense flow to the ball...i think a more man to man with read and react lbers are whats needed
-
Edmunds isnt used in that way by frazier...frazier is misusing talent and its sooo frustrating to see...frazier is asking his lbers to drop back into soft zones 8 to 10 yards downfield...like wtf

Thats what happens to fraziers weak ass cover 2...he gets destroyed in the middle of the field..rbs up the gut and big bodied tightends kill his ***** defense..happens every year..what good is stopping the pass when your lit up in the run game right at the heart of tour defense? -
We need to commit our lbers and safeties in run support more often..we need a totally new base defense other than cover two....i hate that defense with a passion..teams have long since firgured it out
-
I'll tell you what i think and its probably going to get me flamed...Frazier is whats wrong..he constantly has our lbers drop too far from the los allowing for wide open cut backs in the middle of the field once the rb gets past the front 4...his soft approach to the cover 2 also drops our safeties back into two deep looks with no run support help....Frazier plays scared and his whole philosophy of play safe and then tighten in scoring range is flawed...it allows teams with good olines and running game to dictate the flow of the game and gasses our defense.

What did YOU Do That Made The Bills Win Today?
Billever76 replied to Nanker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wasnt wearing my bills gear...wore it all year..was doing yard work prior to the game and just sat down when the game started...soon as i put it on had that phillips sack, tre int and allens 98 yard drive...i will have it on every game from here on out -
As evidenced by our dead last field position....we have gave the opposing team great field position the entire year sans a few games...that's a skewed stat imo.....ppg sacks tfl all matter more ...we haven't gave up a ton of yards but we've given up points..some of that falls on an inept offense butlets not act like we haven't watched QBs sit back in the pocket with tons of time or rbs gashing us all game long with not an answer to it ..#1 defense don't give that up...
-
You'll see in this DEFENSE that stat will always be the telltale complaint..our defense doesn't ask our lbrs to be agressive and play downhill..our lbrs and even dlinemen are asked to drop back into zones and rely on pre snap movement and shifts to "confuse" the offense..problem being is our dline gets no push to get after the QB or crash the running lanes consistently..now when the opposing oline picks up our dline the QB has time to find the soft underbelly in the zones or the rb slips a tackle or finds the lane then our lbrs, corners, safety's are in zones off from the Los leaving the rb 5-6 yards before contact....it's a recipe for disaster

Leslie Frazier has never been a good DC

And in no way am I saying FRAZIER is the most pressing need to be addressed....In my opinion He will need replaced for this team to ever get over the hump...or we draft to his needs and have two dominant edge rushers in which case we have neither -

Exactly..I just want any of Leslie Frazier supporters to show me one time his adjustments when his game plan isn't working?...just once?..and how many blowouts do we have since he has been our DC? -
#26 in ppg #26 in turnovers, below average sacks and zero ability to adjust the game plan when it's not working..and how many blowouts in the last two years? Leslie Frasier and aggressive go together like oil and water....if I could pick any adjective to describe Frazier it's conservative!!!

I will say Daboll did improve in spurts...but his predictable play calling..run run pass...his inability to find any semblance of a run game and some real head scratching play calls on 3rd and shorts all year long are red flags to me -

Our offense is highly void of talent our defense not so much..we have a great secondary, average dline and average lber....our offense is poor all across..Frazier has more to work with and isn't doing much better. Give me anything you have besides hearsay of what Daboll has ever done as an NFL coordinator to prove he is anything but what his production says he is!!?? I'm worried about both our offense and our defense let alone our special teams....we are a mess all across the board...I'm just saying we have more issues that need fixed other just offense..and I'm only calling out the defense bc it's the best unit on our team yet I feel they are not utilized to our players strengths and being handicapped by an outdated scheme by a retread coordinator -

Frazier and Daboll both are belove average/poor coordinators..it looks to me we have the same problem we always have had...cheap retread coaching and a rookie HC who was eager to get his shot..what do they have in common?..they come cheap! -

Riddle me this..if Frazier is someone you want to hang our hat on and potentially think we will win anything meaningful with then answer me this...at halftime when it was obvious Brady wasn't himself and was hurting why wouldn't Frazier adjust to the Patriots misdirection jet sweeps, off tackle runs and such?..where was a run blitz?..where where our lbers?..oh yeah they are off in la la Land preventing that vaunted Pat's passing attack while the ran it down our throats...forget throwing a ***** at Brady I'd like to throw one at Frazier for having zero answer to what was beating his defense at will all game long...NOW that's a damn good defensive coordinator lmao -

Frazier has had play calling duties stripped of him everywhere he has been as a DC..want to know the common complaint of fans where he has been?..NO adjustments is one, can't sack the QB or get consistent pressure and his defenses tend to have 2 or more blowout losses every year We are #1 or # 2 in ypg bc of the field position we have gave opposing teams all year long (worst in league)..ppg is what matters and we are *****
