The markings of a good to great coach is they are flexible in many ways..they may come out with a game plan but they react and adjust to what the opposition is doing and can switch the totality of their plan up and adjust!..to go into a game with a stubborn approach of forcing your game plan to work when it isn't working at all is lazy coaching and totally unprepared

It's getting old hearing the TOP 5 defense regurgitated non sense..top 5 in ypg..bottom of the league in stats that matter like PPG, TURNOVERS,SACKS etc

Where did I say I liked McDermott as a DC?.. McDermott needs to get his hand out of his defensive coordinator cookie jar and focus on making game time decision and clock managment which have been poor in his tenure here....we need an attacking defense!.. schwartz,petine,Wade Phillips,Greg Phillips type of aggressive defense

There is a reason Frazier has been relieved of his play calling duties midgame 3 other times in addition to the chargers game this year....HE flat out doesn't know how to adjust..and adjustments in today's NFL = getting after the QB!!!!...our defense doesn't strike fear in any QBs head..we let a rookie QB coming off a 5 game injury look the best he did all year..we logged 0 sacks,0 hits and only one QB hurry the whole game... Frazier needs to go..we need an attacking defense the likes of petine and what Schwartz ran with our personal Exactly..given what Daboll has to work with he is severely behind the likes of what Frazier has!!!!

At least someone sees the issue...it's alarming bc most fans think fix the offense just a little bit and we are contenders..I disagree.....crunch time Frazier's defenses fold up like a broken lawn chair

See where I mentioned that above?..Frazier's defense needs 2 things to be successful..1 being a Khali Mack type dlineman and an offense that can control the clock resulting in long drives and ending in points..it's a bend but don't break defense relying on allowing opposing offenses to take the underneath stuff and eating up allot of time and then tightening up and forcing punts or long field goal attempts..it's never gonna be elite in stats that matter bc it's an outdated philosophy...ppg,sacks,turnovers and 3 and outs will always be low 20's ranking with this retread cover 2 from the lovie Smith Tony Dungy tree....it's time has come and gone

Absolutely correct..4th stint as an NFL offensive coordinator and he has a #20 ranked offense as his best ever with multiple dead last #32 ranked offense and this year's #31 ranked offense..it looks to me we have the same problem we always have!..cheap retread loser coordinators and a rookie HC whom was looking for his shot...what do they all have in common?.. obviously they come cheap bc they are either unproven or proven to be nothing more than mediocre...start by changing that if we ever want to be relevant

I couldn't disagree more on this...kid is our best run defender and is constantly around the ball.. bunch of QB hurries and tipped passes from him...he is a stud

I don't agree about big time throws from Josh Allen needed the most in late game close games you simply can't expect your rookie QB to consistently deliver the win..I believe we need pressure on the opposing QBs and if we aren't getting it with our front 4 then we need to bring another guy and another even until we do!....Frazier just doesn't blitz and will keep on rushing his 4 until they have no more and late in games the opposing QBs find their guy bc they are not rushed..Frazier and his Tampa 2 defense needs to adjust or he needs fired...go look at the balt,first half chargers,GB, Indianapolis Miami in the last few possession and this last Jets game..now tell me where was the pressure and if our front four wasn't doing it where was the blitz?..that's FRAZIER ball and always has been..A SAFER APPROACH to the cover 2

PREACH!!..but look at who our DC is...Frazier hates to use the blitz..he plays afraid of the big play so he drops everyone back into zone..he tries to look intimidating with his presnap movement and faking blitz before dropping off but very seldom does he rely on the blitz...now if our front 4 get pressure his defense is actually pretty darn stout..but when our front 4 get no pressure the defense ends up breaking..baltimore,chargers,GB, Indianapolis,and this last game....and we lose..now wouldn't you think an NFL defensive coordinator would adjust and call blitz or find ways to get pressure?..go back and watch the games I mentioned above...Frazier kept on rushing 4 dropping everyone back(minus the 2nd half charger game where McDermott admitted to having called the defense)..come back and talk to me after watching those games..then maybe you'll get why I'm a huge advocate of getting rid of Frazier!..it's his inability to make adjustments to get after the QB which means blitzing!..getting pressure on the QB is the biggest need in today's NFL!

We got out coached..Jets knew a rookie QB would struggle if they constantly harrased him and it worked..Frazier thought he'd be a genuis and let darnold have time to figure out his zones and presnap disquises and movement..Given the time HE DID..pressure him and darnold would have folded like a lawn chair

You haven't realized Frazier is and always has been a very seldom blitz caller...he flat our refuses...if his front four gets stonewalled we get beat period...it's a passing league and if your front 4 can't get the job done you send another and another until you do!!!!

It comes down to Frazier not finding a way to get pressure on a rookie QB!..zero sacks and zero hits on darnold...should have dialed up the blitz and kept on coming after him..the Jets threw everything Inc the kitchen sink at Allen and made him uncomfortable..Frazier is highly overrated by this fan base and I don't know why....his retread cover 2 defense has seen it's best days decades ago...we need an attacking defense..instead we have a scared defense who is always afraid to give up the big play

That's Frazier's Tampon2 safe defense..he calls the defense afraid of the big play..he seldomly will commit more than 4 even when his front is getting stonewalled...I want him fired!..it's been a complaint of fans everywhere he has been..his decades old approach to defense is trash

I'd say Frazier's flat out refusal to blitz a rookie QB who is playing for the first time in over a month on the road as more of a reason we lost

I've watched every game this year..I've seen the pocket (if that's what you wanna call it)part like the red Sea almost immediately..I guess we could have one of those good QBs you talk about and lead the league getting sacked! Lol Allen has to run around just to buy time to throw the ball.. pressure is in his face almost immediately...he is by a wide margin the most pressured QB in the league this year

Best QBs don't have an offensive line that is so we'll offensive...they also have a true #1 receiver and a run game....your delusional if you think any QB would be consistently good behind our line The oline is the number 1 problem we need solved.

Not to mention tyrod had a great run game to lean on and an offensive line with Glenn icognito and wood...all 3 probowlers.

No that's on the offensive line...Allen has to scramble almost immediately and that in itself takes a few seconds...very misleading stat

We need Frazier out of here next year .he is a liability and he sucks..his players have bailed his tired scheme out time and time again...we need a DC who has balls and takes it to their opponent..Frazier prefers to sit back and let offenses dictate the game..his regurgitated lovie Smith/Tony Dungy philosophies are outdated

Hiring him was a huge mistake.. Chicago fans were elated to see him leave . throughout his career he has been horrible.. amazing he even has a job
