  1. Whatever it is, and whatever they say they connect in practice… Josh and Sanders just haven’t looked to be on the same page in games. And that Sanders seems to have taken some of Diggs’ looks as well as Gabe Davis’s reps, I think his signing was subtraction by addition. This may be an unpopular opinion but it’s what I’ve felt looking at the games. We finally went to Diggs on one drive in the second half and that was the only time we moved the ball well.
  2. I don’t have stats in front of me, but my feel having seen all the games is that Josh is looking at Sanders first. And I don’t understand why, at this point. So many balls that have gone Sanders’ way are just waaay off. The trade-off of dropping Brown and signing Sanders was definitely not an upgrade. HAVE to get the ball to Diggs, no matter how. Short routes. Jet sweep. Whatever. Noticed on a couple of plays that Diggs was just walking / shuffling around while Josh was still looking for an option. Inexcusable. But I think it may be the attitude creeping back in… I’m not the prime target, I’m gonna save energy. Daboll’s play-calling isn’t fooling anyone anymore, if it ever did. I think he’s taken Josh as far as he can. It’s time to learn from someone else. And for this season, at least right now, if McDermott had ANY balls he would give play-calling to Dorsey (and cut Ford’s fat ass immediately).
  3. Exorcise the demons that reside in the blue pants. So many losses in them.
  4. At the end of point 9, you meant, “… gave the Dolphins a clear advantage”, right? They were mauling our DL and it was crickets. On the almost-sack of Tua on the first(?) drive on a 3rd & 9, Hughes was getting mugged, his shoulder pads were being dragged/ripped across his chest. We get the early sack there, the first half goes quite different, I believe, if only in field position improvement.
  5. You think those shows want to piss off the NFL? Rocking the boat too much can only be bad for the golden goose that is their ad revenue for blowing hot air about a game.
  6. The refs and refs union HATE Jerry with a passion. Getting that red suspended for calling him a b-word on-field and the altercation in the tunnel is always going to color how he is seen. They ignore when he gets absolutely mauled, like the almost-sack of Tua early, and they had been quick to toss yellow on him… although less so this year. I’ve been advocating to move on from Jerry for a couple of seasons now. What he brings is just not worth what he costs in terms of ref-hate. He’s doubtful to be re-signed after this season, given Beane’s draft investment in DE/DL.
  7. That and the trend of super-duper high-rise bikini / lingerie / jeans is just ruination.
  8. I mean… it seems pretty natural. There ARE a lot of buffalo 🦬 in Wyoming.
  9. Man, I’m not usually one to go for these short vids, but it got me a bit 🥺. If anyone more savvy than I can embed this, that’d be cool. Putting the link below to the SportsCenter Instagram. Per the word, Tyrell’s best friend had been serving overseas for the past four years and the walk-out in KC a couple weeks ago where the friend was in the stands was the first time they’ve seen each other since college, I’m gathering(?). https://www.instagram.com/reel/CU-HW1flCiY/?utm_medium=copy_link
  10. Although I don’t visit or post on here as often as I once did, it’s been quite awhile since I’ve seen anything from him. He always seemed like a good egg. I carry on his use of ‘Merry Natal Anniversary!’ as an alternatively worded birthday wish.
  11. I was diagnosed in 2015 at age 35 after suspecting it for some time.
  12. At this point, it would most likely be that they just leave it up at the Ralph and then as you say, without fanfare, just don’t put it up in the new stadium in whatever way they’re going to display ROH names/numbers. Fewer news cycles to be a distraction for the team.
  13. If Eric Moulds’ toe was out of bounds so many years ago, then that one right before the half was out too. BS that they overturned it when the pixel blur was that bad. That was not conclusive at all.
  14. Just started watching “Only Murders in the Building” over the weekend. On episode 5 and really enjoying it. Same re: Selena Gomez but liking the character depth & her comedic delivery and the mix of boomer & sardonic-millennial interplay. Has a lot of artistry that might be rewarded come awards time. Yeah, Steve Martin kinda dropped off the acting & comedy map for quite awhile in pursuit of his banjo stuff. Don’t know the backstory there. Similar to Chevy Chase wrt depression? Nice to see a return and hoping🤞🏼for more.
  15. Twitter is where people go to believe that their opinion / life actually means something in the grand scheme of things. Delusions of grandeur.
  16. That describes about 85 percent of the population of the world now. Everyone’s angry about this or that and it’s always someone else’s fault. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Then again, we’re on a message board where discussion of COVID gets deleted / locked / you on time-out. And I’m not criticizing the board rules, just saying. Would that TBD policy extended to the stadium and people could just enjoy the blasted game.
  17. RIP, Cindy #89. 🥺 Remember back since the early versions of TBD, she was one of the posters who made it the community it was and now is.
  18. Media has confirmed that the electricity went out at the stadium. Cause was reportedly a car accident. How many times has this happened in recent years and has it happened with such frequency anywhere else?
  19. While we don’t exactly know what caused the “technical difficulties” / broadcast failure today (to go with a number of such failures in recent years — Mylar balloon anyone?) is it safe to say that aged infrastructure probably has something to do with it? You just don’t see this stuff happening anywhere else with such frequency. The other point today is making is that these kind of games suck for the fans and don’t help the team in a league that is more and more built for the pass. And it reduces the risks of slips as may have contributed to Milano’s hamstring injury. The Buffalo weather takes a beating on structures , if you haven’t seen the condition of even the 8-year-old refurbishments; EIGHT YEAR OLD concrete is literally eroding and they don’t want any part of protecting new construction from the elements? Having a retractable roof on a new stadium isn’t a completely obscene expenditure. It’s pouring 🌧 there almost all game. And the beauty of retractable is that it doesn’t necessarily have to be closed for weather games. I just fail to see how this is a contentious issue.
  20. Rams and Colts won a SB in a domed home stadium. For the life of me, I don’t know what’s wrong with going with a retractable roof and having the option to control the elements or to leave it open. Lucas Oil Stadium is retractable, was built for a song comparatively in the NFL, and by every account has beautiful sight lines and is a popular stadium (NFL Draft has been there for a long time).
  21. The difference is materials and labor costs — 100% union will be mandated in anything NYS puts a dime into, and companies will / have to bid higher to cover the far higher taxes. You’re expecting them to just eat the tax differences? Everything is at a premium in NYS and the northeast. Not to mention that there’s always a certain level of graft / kickbacks factored into big projects like this in the area. That’s just the reality.
