  1. As of right now, yes. Shouldn’t even be a discussion.
  2. Well considering FA hasn’t even started yet, I doubt it.
  3. Impossible to say at this point. FA hasn’t even technically started yet. It all depends on who they end up bringing in. That will determine need in the draft. My guess is BPA.
  4. No. Not at all. We gave up a first round pick, which was going to be spent on a WR anyway, and essentially Russ Bodine and Wyatt Teller and are getting a known commodity in Diggs versus an unknown commodity in Watkins (or a rookie receiver in general). There is basically nothing similar about the two.
  5. Ahh, nothing a little Lysol can't handle!
  6. Hell no. I'll wait till the knockoff chinese website where I got my Allen jersey gets them and spend $35 ?
  7. That's just it - what "could end up" being a top 5 DE. There's a new staff. If they don't love the QB, why is it a stretch?
  8. Good. Never been a fan of Julian Stanford.
  9. That was NASCAR's plan until people much more powerful stepped in. They were planning on being the only event on TV. It was gonna be like shooting fish in a barrel. A hundred race teams got to Atlanta and were then told to go home once the Government got involved.
  10. Not only were they hideous, but our team was nothing but awful while wearing them. Seeing those uniforms reminds me how much of a joke the Buffalo Bills were for such a long time.
  11. That's why they did the restructure. so that if he doesn't perform well, they can without the cap hit. That's the entire point.
  12. What if he doesn't?
  13. I know it sounds cliche, but one day at a time man. Get through today without a smoke. Wake up tomorrow, and get through that day without a smoke. Lather, rinse, repeat. Don't think of it as a long-term thing. Get through the day that you have in front of you without one. Before you know it, you'll be a month, then six months, then a year smoke-free. You can do it man!!!
  14. While I don't exactly disagree with you, that's a bit of a misleading statement. The owners don't individually bring in "billions." One report I read used the Green Bay Packers as an example. In 2018, the NFL earned $8.1 Billion in national revenue, meaning each team got about $255 million of that. Then, you get your local revenue (in this case, for the Packers, it was $196 million) which brought their total revenue, not profit, to $455 million. Of that, $213 million went to players, another $208 million to "stadium upkeep, marketing, and team and administrative costs." This left them with an operating income of $38.5 million. A far cry from the "billions" that you claim they bring in. Sure, other teams may bring in more, and maybe the Packers did a big stadium upgrade that year. But the point is, if an owner has invested, like Mr. Pegula, $1.4 BILLION of his own money to buy a team, why shouldn't he want to make a return on that investment? $38.5 million a year is a pretty crappy return for a year on a billion and a half dollar investment, if you ask me. He'd have to own the team for over 36 years at that rate to break even on that investment. And yes, I understand that the value of the team will increase (and already has) over time, but that's not cash in his pocket until he sells the team. I don't blame the owners, if they're only making that much, for wanting to try to retain a bit more. That'd be like you or me investing $14,000 in the stock market and only getting a return of $385 for the year.
  15. That was me as well. I remember getting the notification, as I wasn't able to watch the draft live... and that's the reason I was so pissed. Not because he wasn't a good player, but because having the backfield we already had, it was an unnecessary pick.
  16. nothing more than a training camp depth player at this point
  17. Yeah we had our neighbors/friends and their kids over. their kids are best buddies with my son. But the weather here in Charlotte was BEAUTIFUL yesterday, and the kids played hard outside all day... My 4 year old son was super tired and had a similar epic meltdown rage at about 7:00. So that was the end of that ?
  18. Kept it simple. 5 lbs of chicken wings on the Big Green Egg, and my neighbor that came over made a couple pounds of candied bacon on his. Didn't really go all out. had to miss the entire 2nd quarter anyway putting the little one to bed. Super Bowl Sunday with small children is definitely different.
  19. I really don't understand the Flutie hate. I was fairly young (8-10 years old) when Flutie was having his great seasons in Buffalo, so I'm sure I wasn't as plugged in to what went on off the field.... But I've always liked the guy. I'd be interested to read about it, if someone has articles/documentation about whatever went on.
  20. Honestly, with all the misinformation put out by the media yesterday, I'll give ESPN credit. I'd rather be right than first, considering how outrageous it all was yesterday.
  21. He was never an accurate passer. His legs allowed him to beat you with his arm, but it wasn't through pin-point, precision throws. It was moving the pocket and extending plays
  22. Also a Sox fan... And I'm 100% ok with them cutting ties with Cora. I'm not going to act like a Pats* fan and defend my team's cheating. If they cheated, then they cheated and they should be punished. If you're truly a fan of the sport, this should be your position.
  23. With Beane and McDermott at the helm, we won't.
