Not necessarily. Vegas sets odds based on how they think people will bet, not necessarily how good the teams really are. It's all about the public's perception. Hence why the Bills' over/under this year was 6.5. WE all knew it would be higher, but for the general public that didn't see what was going on here, that's probably right.

Keep in mind, he was playing with ALL of our 2nd and 3rd string. Last year he was at least playing with all of the starters.

Could be that he's already worked with Gettleman and knows that that's NOT a situation he wants to be in.

At the beginning of the season I predicted 10-6. When Roethlisberger got hurt, I changed it to 11-5 (I originally had that as a loss). If the AFC was a little bit stronger and we'd have had something to play for yesterday, I have no doubt we'd have won that game easily to get to 11-5. This is exactly what I expected, but not what the media at large (who doesn't pay attention daily to what's going on in Buffalo) expected.

Because McDaniels has totally shown that he's a good HC. Browns doing Browns things.

And if Tennessee stays alive, that makes it still possible (although HIGHLY unlikely) that we can host the AFC championship game! The only way we can host a playoff game is if it's against TEN.

I like Rivera, and I hope to see him get another HC job. I read in the last day or two that he's a frontrunner for the Redskins job. I like him enough that I hope, for his sake, he doesn't take that job. I think Rivera is a good (not great) coach but is an amazing human being. He was so involved in the community down here when he was the HC of the Panthers. I'd hate to see him take an impossible job working for that awful owner.

Absolutely awful. It's hard for me to even read stories like that without tearing up. We had a health scare with our little one about a year ago where some VERY scary words were thrown around by doctors. Just remembering our pure terror through those hours/days... I can't even imagine what this family is going through.

I don't care how... Just beat the damn Jets. I don't care if it's all backups the whole game. My hatred for the Jets runs deep. Hopefully 2018 Barkley vs. the Jets comes out today!

Man what a game. Will go down as an all-time classic. I went to bed after Ohio State scored their last TD to go up 23-21. Woke up and the game was on ESPN again, right after that play ?. Not a Buckeye fan AT ALL, but I as a football fan, that was fun to watch.

I'll agree - through the Super Bowl. Once the NFL season is over, that's really the bulk of the conversation until the draft. So after the Super Bowl, I'd be OK with it coming back to TSW

I wouldn't worry about having to see him in the Super Bowl. He'll be suspended the moment he's signed.

My favorite part was Brandon Beane basically telling the guys that when they're in Orchard Park, and their kids have events, whether it be sports games, or plays, or whatever - that he EXPECTS them to attend their kids events. Not, "I hope you can make it", or "we'll try to let you go". It was "I expect you to go". As a parent that works in a business where it's hard to just step away for a couple hours, and having an employer that makes it a point for their people to still be able to go, it's pretty awesome. This goes for every business - if your people understand that you care, and that you want them to be able to attend these things with their families, they'll run through a brick wall for you. I love the management structure and culture that they have built at OBD.
