  1. He was so bad. I live in Charlotte... it was ugly around here.
  2. Could you imagine beating the Chiefs and Mahomes in the playoffs? What do you think the "we shoulda drafted Mahomes" crowd on the board would do?!?
  3. I was more pissed off with the officials when Dupree jumped offside 5 seconds early, had a straight shot at Josh Allen, and the officials didn't blow the play dead. They just let him have a free, unblocked shot at our quarterback. If I was the Bills organization, I would certainly be asking the question about what the eff happened there. In a league that is so worried about protecting the quarterback, how do they let that happen?!?!?!?!?
  4. This... I'll let the guys that get paid millions to decide who is the better, more talented player decide who should play.
  5. Agreed. While sacks are important, I feel like that can be a bit of an overrated stat. Disruption and pressure are key.
  6. Good. Why should he be selected to Pro Bowl? He hasn't played well, and fans (outside of bandwagon Cheats* fans) can't stand him.
  7. The TV networks not showing replays of penalties is getting super annoying. Do you think they're trying to "protect" the NFL and its officials?
  8. I mean he held onto it.... but Watt didn't actually punch the ball, so......
  9. Ben, yes. Eli's career record is literally .500. His record is 117-117. Rivers' career record is 123-99. The one thing he doesn't have that the other two do is a super bowl.
  10. Committed two penalties on that play but you have to love the kid's motor and drive!
  11. I think it's more funny that you don't think Lynn has had way more to work with. Lets see here. Last year, Sean McDermott took a team whose starting QB was the most raw rookie quarterback in the draft (and possibly one of the most raw 1st rd quarterbacks of the last decade) with a top receiver who was an undrafted rookie, with a starting offensive line on which (aside from Dion Dawkins) not ONE of them is a starting-quality player to a 6-10 record. Anthony Lynn has, this year, in what (or at least I've been told this, because it's the "reason" the Bills have won 10 games this year) is a much softer AFC, taken a team that has Phillip Rivers (a first-ballot hall of famer) throwing to Keenan Allen, handing it off to Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler, and STUDS on the D-line in Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram, to a (currently) 5-9 record. If you are going to seriously sit here and tell me that Sean McDermott hasn't achieved more with less, then you are not even being realistic, you just don't like McDermott. And that's OK if you don't. Just come out and say it, don't dance around it. Because it's pretty obvious you have a bias and an agenda because no reasonable person would look at the talent on these two teams over the last three years and come to the conclusion that you seem to have come to. And FYI, the "we didn't draft Mahomes" horse was beaten dead the better part of two years ago.
  12. I've thought of this a couple times. What if we had hired someone better, but just mediocre and missed out on the chance to get what we got? I guess the ol' cliche saying goes... everything happens for a reason.
  13. The point is, that McDermott AS A COACH has done more with less.
  14. So they essentially have identical records. One coach had Tyrod Taylor one year, and the most “raw”rookie available, and while progressing, is definitely still a young QB learning on the job. The other coach has had Phillip Rivers.
  15. Agreed. If they hadn't said his name, and I only heard his voice, he is the absolute LAST guy that I would have thought of! Could you imagine Dick Jauron going for it on that 4th and 6 at around the 35 yard line on our first TD drive? McDermott is, if you step back and look at it, a LOT more aggressive than people give him credit for.
  16. Had John Brown ever thrown one before he did to Singletary in Dallas?
  17. Let's go. I think we win this game. I'm not in the least worried about going up there and winning. I stated in another thread... Even if we don't get the division this year, you at the very least can knock the Pats* out of a first-round bye AND you don't allow them to rest their starters against Miami.
  18. He was outstanding last night!
  19. You mean the one where he had a hold of Conner's facemask and about ripped his damn head off? In what world was that NOT a penalty? If you think that wasn't a penalty, then you're being a homer, not being realistic.
  20. Just win baby. Control what you can control. Go to New England and win. Even if we don't get the division, at the very least, it doesn't allow NE to go to Miami and rest their starters.
  21. As much as people poo poo the "culture" thing.... It's working. There have been a couple games this year that I've thought "This is a culture win". These are not the choking, blowing it Bills of old.
  22. You do realize the other team gets paid to play football too, right? And they have a defense that's almost as good as ours?
  23. You've had one too many tonight. And I thought that I drank a lot. Whew. ***** no. Go up there and beat the living hell out of those punk ass cheaters. Remember the year that the Colts were 14-0 and rested their starters? Ended up 14-2 (with one of the losses being in the snow week 17 in Orchard Park) and I believe one-and-done in the playoffs.
