  1. Ok, knowing what is in front of you for Sunday what's your Offensive and Defensive strategy? Patriots are missing Wynn and Andrews on the O line. TB is the definition of pocket passer. AB is gone and Edelman is hurt. Burkhead is the #1 RB because Michel has been crap. Their D is good but like us they haven't exactly played any powerhouses. My take Offensively: 1. Take deep shots. Their DBs are physical and aggressive and often get away with holding. Force their hand and encourage down field contact. PI is now reviewable. 2. Make a big effort on protecting Josh in pass protection. I don't care what anyone says, our O line has not been good. Just because we got away with their play against crappy teams doesn't hold water this week. 3. If Motor is available, take the training wheels off and unleash him. 20 touches minimum. 4. Utilize more 2 TE sets. Is Kroft ready? Smith, Knox and Sweeney. The extra protection helps and gives Josh an outlet if things break down. 5. Screw conservative play calling. Unless we're up two scores with 5 minutes left play to win and not to lose. Defensively: 1. Blitz more, especially on 2nd and long situations. Blitzing on 3rd is IMO too risky against Brady who expects it and kills it. 2. Consistent pass rush. I know, I know it's not the priority of our defensive scheme but if you don't make Brady uncomfortable you have no chance. He won't have his usual safety blankets so bring the heat and force mistakes. 3. Like on Offense, screw conservative play. Do not sit back and allow them momentum and a chance to drive. What say you?
  2. Taylor. I prefer my DTs not be named after a fruity tea beverage.
  3. Somebody just finished their Tony Robbins DVD Collection. ?
  4. We need Motor in this game and the O line to play lights out to have a chance to win this game.
  5. Pass defense is superb. Containment at the LOS is very good. Run defense has been good. Pass rush is lacking. Red Zone D is terrible. Very good, nowhere near elite. Unfortunately this is how they're schemed and this is how they'll live and die.
  6. I can tell you shifted in another gear on that run.
  7. Apparently OP hasn't paid attention to the O line play. Dawkins is not cutting it and Ford is not an NFL tackle. We have 2 WRs on pace for 1k and a budding TE. WR is not the priority.
  8. Curious. Is Frank a pug?
  9. I noticed you didn't really touch on the O line. Major concern for me. Ford has been a complete disaster at RT and will get Josh killed against the Pats D and Dawkins isn't doing him any favors on the left. Nsehke, Morse, Spain and Feliciano have been solid contributors but the others have been overwhelmed. Belicheck must be salivating designing schemes to abuse the ends and pressure Josh into mistakes. Dawkins is not a franchise LT and Ford has a long ways to go and at this point best suited at G.
  10. And Big Ben with a bum throwing arm.
  11. Exactly. Josh is on pace for a 4k season. Jimbo's best year was 3844. He never had a 4k season and he's in Canton.
  12. What are the chances we actually drop in the Power Rankings with a 3-0 record? I wonder how many 2-1 teams are listed ahead of the Bills? I don't give a Schitt! Just keep piling up the W's and make the post season. This organization is trending in the right direction and a post season berth will be a nice stepping stone into a successful future.
  13. We win easily with Singletary out there.
  14. The Yeldon fumble and the INT are looming large right now.
  15. Inexcusable for Josh but can the O line please show up. He's been under pressure all game.
  16. It worked, great. Just didn't agree. If that return wasn't called back it be an arse biter.
  17. Last team standing wins over any other scenario. Who care over bragging rights during the regular season?
  18. I agree with all that especially knowing we get the ball first to start the 3rd. Unfortunately that doesn't always pan out because the opposition is making adjustments to what they've seen to that point. Why not go for a score when their on the ropes and still figuring things out? McD is very conservative with a lead and likes to put it on the D to control tempo instead of putting it on the O, especially with a 2nd year QB. Josh has proven in these 2 games that when he has to move the O for a score in a must situation he comes up clutch. McD and his philosophy is what it is I guess.
  19. Shouldn't be too surprising. He played the 0 tech in Houston, correct? You have to pretty darn strong to dominate a position usually played by athletes 20-30 pounds heavier.
  20. I thought I was watching a Bills sponsored channel until Baldy took a jab at the Bills playoff history at the end. Otherwise obvious respect for our team.
  21. The throw to Brown in the 4th quarter on 3rd down was a thing of beauty. The way he juked the defender, scrambled to his right and then throw a seed on the run was amazing and CLUTCH. Maybe 2 or 3 QBs in the NFL make that throw. Off the charts athletism. A lot of times Josh seems to be more accurate throwing under duress than with no pressure. Kinda tells me he's over thinking.
