  1. John Gruden is doing to the Raiders what Phil Jackson did to the Knicks. Both will leave much richer while leaving the franchises much worse.
  2. Watkins and Conley would be starting here as 1 and 2. In KC they are the 4th and 5th option.
  3. Do you remember what he replicated against a decimated Bills team the last game of the season in 2015 in a do or die playoff situation? I like Fitz, just don't want him as a band aid or otherwise. I'm convinced he's a Jedi Knight. He convinces teams to give him big money contracts with his mind trick powers.
  4. Exactly. Make no mistake, I don't want him back though he's an all around solid dude but there's no way he replicates what he did there with this bunch.
  5. He had D Jax, Mike Evans, Brate and OJ Howard. We have,...........?????
  6. Is this sarcasm? Hope so or I guess you weren't watching the game. They we're a missed fumbled recovery from winning. Crap happens.
  7. Or make the first down on 3rd and short. They could have milked the clock at that point and the D would have forced them to drive the whole field with little time. Oh well.
  8. That got called because it's Hopkins who was also pushing off btw. Call it both ways refs! The home cooking is obvious today.
  9. Can only hope Josh shows enough promise to entice potential WR talent to sign here. He's gonna have to show a whole lot more than he has.
  10. That's a little extreme. In a perfect world a vet would be starting until Allen is ready. It didn't work that way, so be it. Andy Reid had the right idea with Mahomes and look at the benefits being reaped. Next year Allen will have way more tools to work with and better knowledge on how to run an offense and read defenses. That being said, he's in the water now so swim Josh... Swim!!!
  11. McD and Daboll will continue to protect Allen and mask his flaws by forcing the run game on the Texans hoping to produce 3rd and short situations. From there they will hope to move the chains with quick slants, screens, misdirection and Allen scrambling. They'll continue to play field position and hope the D continues playing well. Expect plenty of Haus Money. That's what I expect at least. It's not sexy or high flying but you gotta work with what you got.
  12. 2nd rdr is a no brainer. With our WRs defenses can play 9 in the box and get away with it. Ivory and Murphy should suffice until we get our RB of the future. Do it and sign Mike G for back up insurance.
  13. That overrated trash has averaged well over 300 and rushed for over 40 yards a game thus far. Just saying....IMHO
  14. I used to cringe and shake with fear when 3rd and 2 or 4th and 1 would be in play expecting the usual Stonewall D at the LOS. Now that we have Ivory and a big, strong QB I've been cured. ?
  15. Not true. Sometimes when I'm on the throne I'll use some toilet paper to blow my nose and then I use it to.......... nevermind.
  16. This team has holes all over the place, especially offense. But,...... I think I'd rather have 5 or 6 "difference makers" than 10 "good" players. That being said I do believe the cap space money will be used on those so called "difference makers" like a solid O lineman or 2 along with a stud WR.
  17. I'm sure most have noticed the low throws. Personally I don't think he's hurt. I believe he's over thinking and afraid he's gonna over throw the receiver so he's taking too much off the pass. His screen passes did look pretty good in comparison to the past weeks.
  18. Gotta agree to an extent. He's already a limited passer and running the ball and throwing screens 90% of the time isn't exactly helping improve his passing skills or establish rhythm. But I do like winning ?
  19. To be fair all rookie QBs are having a tough go of it in the NFL. Even Mayfield who has the most talent around him of any of the QBs has had his brain fart moments. Way too early CB though your concerns are legitimate. But as many continue to point out our O line is mediocre, WRs are MIA and OC so far is uninspiring. Plus it seems the coaches plan on protecting Allen as much as possible by running the ball with incredible predictability making it difficult to establish rhythm with his awesome receiving corps. Time will tell but I give you credit for defending your post addressing each flame as it comes. Many here post and then " tuck and run".
