The jets wil beat the *pats
billsbackto81 replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WHAT? That's about as ridiculous a statement as I've heard in a while. The Jets have a formidable front 4 but desperately lack on the back 7. With the exception of Moseley and Adams they're not very good and have been torched regularly. They are a better team with Darnold but not enough to overcome the hole they've dug. Remember, if not for some unfortunate miscues by the Bills that were not entirely on Josh he had no problem at all moving the ball against them. -
Does anyone miss Zach Brown? Nigel Bradham?
billsbackto81 replied to Markjaro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could be wrong but I don't remember him being a problem the one year he was here. The guys a tackling machine but don't know if he's a scheme fit, but the man can play. -

So basically you're disregarding what Josh (4th Qtr) and the Defense did to them Week 1. Nobody wants to see them get beat more than me but the Jets are not that team. Darnold couldn't do anything against our secondary and the Pats may be a little better in that respect. All of a sudden they're world beaters because they barely beat a team without their starting tackles, a sorry D and boneheaded coach at home? C'mon man! They'll be lucky to finish 5-11 with Darnold. -
Andy Reid now choking in regular season
billsbackto81 replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You don't have to convince me bro, I always thought he was and is overrated. Offensive guru who neglects every other aspect of the game. Defense and game managment are an afterthought with the Walrus. -

Anybody bother to think the Texans maybe a pretty good team? -
First impression: Rosen for the Phins
billsbackto81 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last week, "Rosen named starter for rest of season". 3 quarters in " Rosen benched for Fitzpatrick". What a dumpster ?. -
It maybe just 5 games but it's pretty obvious that at this particular juncture in his season he's not a RT, not even close. I think everybody has accepted that he may very well end up being a very good Guard. Unfortunately Dawkins isn't a franchise LT either but could more than handle RT duties better than Ford. I guess the search will still be ongoing for the elusive franchise LT.

I knew I should've inserted (sarcasm). But hey, your ideas not bad.

I know. Has anybody talked about maybe trading for Melvin Gordon?

I miss Mark Kelso. He always made me feel like I could be an NFL player too.

Article: How to Feel About Josh Allen
billsbackto81 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh had a renaissance so to speak last season after the Houston game due to injury. When he returned to action it was like he was a totally different QB with a better understanding of the game. Hopefully history repeats itself and he comes back from the bye after reviewing all his brain farts the first 5 games and takes the next step in taking this team to the playoffs and maybe beyond. He strikes me as a willing learner and obviously has the talent and heart. -
What are your Favorite football cliches

Devonte Freeman: the trade that makes sense
billsbackto81 replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd rather trade for Gordon, and I don't want Gordon. The only trade I'd be on board with is T. Williams. Other than that I'd rather develop our guys. -

Micah Hyde is THE heart and soul of this defense.
billsbackto81 replied to umangatan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Levi and for an UDFA he's done extremely well in this system. To me Tre, Micah, and Poyer are all Top 5 -10 players at their respective positions. Levi IMO is not. -

billsbackto81 replied to umangatan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree. To me it's Hyde and Tre over Poyer but I'd have Poyer over Levi as far as priority signings. -

Just because Hyde is more instrumental in the way the D runs let's not disregard what Poyer brings. This brand of D requires a high football IQ and he and Hyde have developed amazing chemistry, almost like a QB and his favorite receiver. Poyer is ALWAYS around the ball and his run support and blitzing are exceptional. But more importantly he has a smoking hot wife! -
Milano Roughing the Passer
billsbackto81 replied to JoshAllenHasBigHands's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm surprised Milano travelled that far in the air. It looked like he was at least 3 or 4 yards away when tripped. -
What are we missing offensively?
billsbackto81 replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly the only thing I think is missing is time to develop. Josh is not Mahomes and Dabolls not Reid. He played his 16th game Sunday. What are people expecting? Outside of Jackson perhaps he's played better than the others in his class. We all knew he was a ball of clay. Unfortunately the Defense appears to be 2 seasons ahead of the offense. They're ready to contend now. -

If there is forceful contact made on the QB intentional or not they're going to flag it. Same thing with Casey in the game. Josh was sliding and Casey tried to avoid him as he leaped over but his knee caught Josh square in the back. Surprised the announcers weren't aware cause I thought it was very clear. Taking a knee in the back from a 280 pound man running at you can cause serious damage.
