  1. On a side note, good for Brock Bowers being the leading vote getter at TE. Despite Raiders only having 2 wins, his unbelievable rookie season is not being overlooked. There’s one that fan votes actually did get right.
  2. Sigh... looks like I'm going to have to break it down. In 2020, we lost to the Titans and Chiefs (2 consecutive L's) and then went 9-1 the rest of the way. In 2021, we lost to the Pats and Bucs, and then went 4-0 In 2022, we lost to the Jets and Vikings, and then went 7-0 In 2023, we lost to the Bengals and Broncos, and then went 6-1 In 2024, we lost to the Ravens and Texans, and have won 7 straight since then. I was hoping to avoid writing that up, but I'm glad you made me do it because it appears I may have been wrong as this math actually adds up to 33-2 🤣 but no I am not going to double check it. Yeah that was it. I did the breakdown in a previous post after seeing your response. After doing that, it appears we were actually 33-2 (I think).
  3. The Bills have lost 2 straight games at some point every season since 2020. Their combined record since 2020 after losing those 2 straight games each year is 32-2... No, but we have lost 2 consecutive game once, every season, since 2020... And after losing that second consecutive game, we have completely turned it around, with a 32-2 combined record. Pretty amazing. Maybe the fact that the stat can be initially confusing is why we don't hear about it as much as we should.. lol. But once you realize what it is, to me, that's 10x more impressive that going 16-0 or 17-0 in a single season.
  4. I remember when we lost 2 games in a row early in the season, I heard a statistic about our absurd record after losing 2 straight games (since 2020) and I thought to myself "well that's because it usually happens before we make our November & December runs before the playoffs. Well, this year, it happened on October 6, and we have not lost since that day. The Buffalo Bills are now 32-2 after losing 2 consecutive games since 2020. One of those 2 losses was last year's OT game in Philly. Also, for the record, we have lost 2 straight games in every season since 2020. 32-2!!! Come on now...
  5. #! seed is going to be major this season. I really don't see a "weak link" in the current playoff standings like we had in the past few seasons. BALTIMORE is currently the 6 seed and Broncos are 7 seed. They are both good teams. As well as the Bills are playing, there will be no slam dunks in the playoffs this time around. Hopefully we meet KC again, but it's far from guaranteed. Heck, even they could have an early exit (especially if they fail to lock up the 1 seed).
  6. hopkins had a pre-existing knee issue when chiefs traded for him too, and hes still playing through it, where Cooper was fully healthy when he joined the Bills. That Hopkins is still going while Cooper suddenly has a wrist injury is just typical Bills vs Chiefs luck lol
  7. If the Bills are being more cautious with injuries this season because we are in a less desperate situation than seasons past (around this time of the season) then I am all for it. If we are relatively healthier than we have been all year once the playoffs start, we should all be thankful that some of our guys didn’t play on injuries that they were technically “cleared” to play with. that’s the difference between being 8-2 and being Tyreek Hill playing for a team that is on thin ice.
  8. Exactly. We will most likely be healthier as well. And if we are smart we can concentrate on getting bringing guys back at the right time along with saving our best for the playoffs considering we already have the division practically locked up, and with any luck, the chiefs will have some injuries along the way as they try to secure the #1 seed. but again, this is all IF we lose. Makes things really interesting because at the same time I’d like for the bills to end KC’s undefeated season, but at the end of the day, who cares? Only the playoffs matter. Think we have all learned that by now. And we will probably be the first team in the AFC to punch our ticket…
  9. Wish the bye was 1 week sooner.
  10. funny thing is I was at a bills backers bar and I stepped out to get some air twice during the game. This is when both ints were thrown. So I can’t help you and it was also probably my fault.
  11. KJ HAMLER!!! LETS GO!!!! I have been waiting all season for Hamler to get a shot on game day and I hope we find a way to utilize his game breaking speed at some point during the game. I know it was only pre-season, but the instant acceleration to top speed that I saw from KJ on that near TD run was not unlike what we saw from Xavier Worthy in week 1, and frankly, he's about as fast as worthy too.
  12. I hate them both as well, but this year, I find myself rooting for the Bengals. But that's only because I want Allen to have a shot at MVP...
  13. Oh joy... Now Lamar gets to have a 4th TD on his stat line... lol
  14. I don't think I've ever seen Allen get as much time in the pocket as Lamar has been getting every time I've tuned into this game. It's ridiculous. Anyone can look like MVP with this completely non-existent pass rush.
  15. most of the players that we are down are expected to be back by playoffs, I believe. That’s the difference between this year and some other seasons in which we had injury issues and were not getting those players back (so far, at least). If guys like Milano, Smoot, Keon(?) are back towards the end of the season or when the playoffs begin, I think you have to go all-in, because depending on how the rest of the season goes with injuries, we could potentially be healthier than we have ever been once the games matter the most….
  16. It's funny. There's the camp that thinks the wait implies X-Rays were likely negative (including Banged up Bills) which renders a more "positive" sign, while others seem to think the delay and need for additional testing does not bode well for Coleman. I don't know where I'm at, but I sure hope it's the former.
  17. Sucks about Smoot, but Coleman is the one I have been holding my breath on since the game winning FG. This update can't come soon enough.
  18. What I like about Elam is he has a knack for taking the ball away. In limited appearances he has had a relatively high # of takeaways (including playoffs). Just yesterday he had the fumble recovery and nearly had a HUGE forced fumble that would have changed the narrative on Elam today if it had counted.
  19. If bass missed I think we should have been equally critical of the play calls leading up to that kick. The fact it was 4th and 10 was mildly embarrassing.
  20. Might be, but I bet you he closes in on Lamar in the MVP odds at the same time
  21. Still early, but have a feeling this might end up being Beane's best draft..... not including 2018.
  22. Well McDermott ain't gonna stop now
  23. Hopkins will get hurt, the Chiefs will win the Super Bowl anyway, and the narrative will be even more annoying than it was last season.
  24. Vancouver, WA here (Salmon Creek). I planned on going to this game with my wife and son, but tickets were a little too pricey for me. We would need 3 of them and they were $300+ per seat at the time I was looking.:: and we are talking about some of the least desirable seats in the stadium. So… I don’t know… Might just watch the game at the Portland Bills Backer bar (pretty sure you know of it) but I haven’t completely counted it out just yet; I hear there are great deals on game day, so I’ll keep looking out. Anyway, we did attend SoFi last season for the surprisingly tense Chargers vs Bills game. SoFi is pretty funny in that everyone around me was a Bills fan and the vast majority of the crowd was also pro-Bills.
  25. KC's offense has been off to at LEAST as many sluggish starts as the Bills this year and Mahomes is throwing picks. Yet their defense has been so dominant for 3 years now that it can completely shut down their opponent - any opponent - as long as it takes for the offense to finally get its act together and put together a drive. But sure... it's always all about Mahomes.
