  1. Yeesh… Nothing says “F**k Y*u” quite like signing Simi Fehoku.
  2. We sometimes joke how Chiefs never seem to have injuries. So we bring in 2 chiefs this off-season... and both are hurt. Awesome.
  3. I mean, it's a fair point. Assuming the Bills are in position for another post-season appearance, and McDermott/Babich find a way to adjust and have this defense playing at a high level like they seem to figure out more often than not, at that point Milano's return will feel like a "bonus" more than anything else.
  4. I know I'm in the minority, but I still get extremely angry every single time I think about 2nd and 9 after the 2-minute warning, at home against the Chiefs, in excellent position for a walk-off TD.. more so than 13 seconds. don't get me wrong. They both sucked. But for some reason, last season's ending is still bugging me to this day.
  5. What happened to possibly returning in December? Did that change too?
  6. Major or Minor, Pre-season or regular season, Bills injuries always seem to occur in bunches. Strangest thing... and frustrating too.
  7. Yeah they are pretty even imo. Both started their careers with the Bills, both had two 1000 yard seasons with the Bills (I think, might have to fact check), but McGahee was here for only 3 years, Henry 4 years. McCoy 4 years as well, and I believe he may have been more productive overall than either Henry / Mcgahee during his time, definitely in terms of YPC. That said, Anthony Lynn’s system was also VERY RB friendly (see Mike Gillislee and Karlos Williams)
  8. I could maybe argue Travis Henry and/or Lesean McCoy in place of McGahee. At least in my lifetime. And as far as best individual seasons go, watching CJ Spiller in 2012 was a treat.
  9. Read between the insults and you find the information. That's what I do. TBD is still my #1 source for the latest Bills info, but you do have to wade through the BS to some extent.
  10. EJ Manuel. Man, that was tough. Especially knowing how incredible the defense was on the other side during those years. Come to think of it, just about every QB we had between Bledsoe and Tyrod would give me that feeling. Fitz was entertaining and gave us a productive offense, but the limitations to his game were too much.
  11. I mean he’s not wrong, when I watched the Niners defense on TV last season I was impressed by their energy on every single down. Much like how the Bills started the season in 2022 and 2023, but it was not sustainable due to injuries. The Niners played that way for an entire season, which is impressive. I don’t see this as a knock on the Bills; it’s just the truth. The SF defense constantly swarms, hits hard, tackles well, and plays harder than the vast majority of defenses in the NFL.
  12. I have to admit, this video is indeed a bit disappointing. Especially if you compare it to the same video of Xavier Leggette. It’s disappointing because Coleman is billed as the “contested catch guy” but if you watch all of Leggette’s targets, he has a higher success rate of coming down with those catches, and seems to be better at just about everything else as well. For all the buzz about the trade KC, it’s the trade with Carolina that leaves me with more questions. Do we know for sure that Leggette was not our guy? For all those that say we wouldn’t have made the trade if Panthers were coming after our guy, ok, then what is the point of trading up one spot for either team in that case? Why would the Panthers make this trade if they weren’t worried about us taking Leggette??? They could have just had him with the next pick after we drafted Coleman if this was true. Not sure I’m convinced we didn’t get screwed.
  13. Sorry if this was already posted, but here is a good video. While it does confirm that Coleman struggles with separation on deep routes, you can see him doing very well in creating separation on other routes. The film of his struggles to separate vertically starts around 6:20. After that, you will see some impressive route running in which Coleman is successful in separating from DBs. Enjoy.
  14. Regarding his splits on the “football” drills, you’re absolutely right, and this is why I am willing to excuse his 40 yard dash time. My biggest issues are two things: 1. Separation. The fact he is not a separator is concerning. Even if he excels at contested catches, I don’t like the idea of Allen throwing into coverage frequently when he is targeting Coleman. You are leaving too much to chance this way, and even though we should be able to expect Coleman to win most of these, how many interceptions could it also lead to? When the reduction of turnovers is something I think we all hope to see from Allen next season. 2. As good as his combine drills were, there is one player that I see that had a better score on (almost) all of them, and that is AD Mitchell. It bothers me quite a bit that we took Coleman over Mitchell. Mitchell is a much more polished receiver and can do the things that Coleman can do plus more. I believe he has a better chance to produce immediately at the NFL level, which is what we needed much more than a “development” player. We just lost our top two receivers. I understand that Coleman actually does add something that this offense was missing, I just think there was a much better option. I guess I just wanted to see the Bills draft a dynamic receiver that could be targeted at every level of the field, and I am not sure if Coleman can ever be that type of player. That said, I am definitely willing to give him a chance, and like others, I hope I am wrong about him. I also hope I am wrong about Mitchell.
  15. Poor Josh Allen. There's mine.
  16. yeah my bad NFL network had posted it as bills getting a 4th. Shoot, I liked it then, and I like it more now. Especially because KC took the receiver I specifically did NOT want Bills to draft. But there was one player that I was dreading more than Worthy and that was Cooper DeJean, who is, unfortunately still in play
  17. I hate the fact that DeJean seems like SUCH a McDermott guy and the fact that he slipped out of the first round might be too difficult for the Bills to resist, even though it should not even be a consideration with the state of our WR room. I am going to be on edge until the 2nd round begins. Thankfully we pick first. For now, anyway.
  18. If true then I guess Beane was doing some serious smoke screening last time we heard from him
  19. I mean we did make the playoffs with John Brown and Cole Beasley as our WR1&2. I realize the defense was better at that time, but that was also 2019 Josh Allen. Our roster isn’t near complete yet. Why don’t we at least give it a chance and see where this is going first? We are definitely drafting a WR now, and there is a VERY high chance that WR will be more productive than Diggs was in the 2nd half of last season. He will also be ~10 years younger. The only thing that bothers me about this deal is that we were willing to get rid of him for $3m less than it would have cost to keep him. I guess we just wanted to get decent compensation for him while we can? I don’t know, but wait till next year and you’re looking at a 4th-5th round pick at best. So there’s that.
  20. The elephant in the room for me….. how the hell did this happen in the first place? What is a no trade clause if you can be traded?
  21. This thread proves that most of us can be talked into liking just about any signing. Pretty much everyone would have preferred Blackmon before this signing, and some still do, but it is only a matter of time until we are enamored by his 2 SB rings, impressive stat line despite only 28 career starts and the fact that he “would have” been a starter had he been on a different team, he’s cheaper for the Bills (oh and he hasn’t torn an ACL / Achilles yet either) ….. and therefore he’s a better signing than Blackmon. Just wait.
  22. Well, defensively, I think “curb stomped” would be a fair assessment. And the disturbing thing is, when we look at each of our elimination games since 2020, we find a common denominator: Defense can’t get a stop, can’t get a turnover
  23. What’s the deal with Rasul? I thought that was already a done deal.
