Whose stock market is it, anyway?

Mine is up as well. -
Both are the actions of complete idiots. That said, only one side has actually taken the words and memes and made them reality recently. Politics aside, there are actual humans with families. They are Fathers and Grandfathers. The nonsense has to stop. Whether Comey thought it was a joke or not, there is a federal statute that protects the President from threats of bodily harm. How quickly we forget the Arizona man who had the FBI at his front door for threatening Harris and Biden. This is a bi-partisan issue. People need to grow up and act like adults.

Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
thenorthremembers replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jordan Phillips is actually a really good comparison. That said, I think Jordan was a bit more wide through the shoulders and hips. Even then he could have benefitted from playing a little lighter than 340. Earlier in the draft process I would have been happy to get Walker at 30 so any later than that is a win. I like the pick a lot but I do think he will benefit from a year in an NFL nutrition and conditioning program. -

I completely agree. I dont condone that blowback at all. Its a pretty common-sense thing I think everyone can agree upon. -

Nobody, regardless of political affiliation, should be taken to task for this. The food they serve in public schools is a plague on American youth. -

My biggest hope for Deone is that our strength and conditioning program can reduce some of the weight he carries in his midsection. He is a very big guy but for his size he doesnt look that stout in his lower body. Carrying that much weight in his stomach will not help the back injury. He doesnt look like a 1 tech to me. He looks like 3 tech who should be playing closer to 310-315. -
Maybe they are Universalists.

Because many of the social and political beliefs of liberals are in direct opposition to the teachings of the bible. I mean I think thats pretty obvious.

I imagine he was raised Catholic. I have to say I found it entertaining listening to all the Catholics calling into WBEN on my way home today. To summarize "Yes I am Catholic. I havent been to mass in years but I have hope the American Pope can restore of the perishes we have had to close."

Fair enough. I just find it odd that a person that supports liberals ideals would also believe in a Holy Spirit.

So you're saying politics did play a role in the selection? Not for nothing if God is going to ordain people based on political beliefs I doubt he would start with the party who believes in abortion.

One of the rare occasions I disagree with Matt Walsh. The Catholic Church has way more in common with the pharisees who sent Jesus to die than they do Jesus himself. If you believe in the Holy trinity, and you've read enough of the Bible, how could you ever believe the Pope was ordained by God? This is an institution that hid or failed to report nearly a century of sexual abuse. In 2002, the Boston Globe printed a statistic that nearly 60% of priests had at least one complaint of abuse levied against them. Beyond the abuse scandals, the absolute luxury of the Vatican, and the ornate dress of its leaders is antithetical to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Pope Francis' estimated net worth at the time of his death was $16 million dollars. This is not to say every member of the Church is corrupt or there are not Godly people associated with it, it is just to say the Vatican itself is a political establishment wrapped in religious aesthetics.

To be fair the Catholic church probably should wait a century or so before they start throwing stones about who someone should care about.
