  1. Belichick incoming? Peters' 1st NFL job was five years with the Patriots.
  2. This guy is going to have a great time wasting the 142 million dollars he made in the NFL. And we are all just here for the ride.
  3. It is. I think this is a different all pro list. Maybe I am wrong? I always thought the All Pro List was through the Associated Press. This seems to be NFLPA.
  4. Hackett is a perfect example of having friends in the right places. I am sure he knows football, and is probably fine a Quality Control coach, but the guy has had a rocket strapped to his back in terms of getting OC jobs way too soon. He was given the OC job here after only 1 year on NFL coaching experience and has been an OC or head coach in the NFL all but two years since then. Between his Dad, Doug Marrone, and Aaron Rodgers he's built an entire career based solely on nepotism. Its good to know the right people, even if you're clearly bad at your job.
  5. Congrats to him. I dont expect anyone who has never struggled with it to understand, its not easy, even when you have everything.
  6. Congrats. Being a Dad is the absolute best thing in the world. Many prayers for you, your wife and your little fella for a prosperous and healthy life.
  7. Worked at the Borders there for four years. Had a blast being young in Buffalo. Sad to see it go.
  8. I wouldnt worry about if we get picks or not, no one is hiring this guy as a head coach.
  9. And with such a seemingly positive role model for a Father...
  10. I spent two years touring in a hard rock band about 15 years ago. My singer, drummer and one guitar player would sneak off constantly but I was too naive to know what was going on. Given the number of shows we played, the scummy promoters, and all wacky people I met, I am still amazed I never saw it. Long story short never my cup of tea.
  11. Wife just got a call from her best friend. Asked if her and I wanted free tickets to the game Sunday. Wife asked me if I wanted to go. I am thinking about a legal separation for the fact she even asked. Needless to say I'll be there Sunday loud and proud. Go Bills!
  12. I saw it during the game. Yelled out loud "Hes grabbing him again." Wife just kind of looked at me side eyed.
  13. I've got some bad news for your wife.
  14. I fully expect the Raiders to keep their interim GM and Head Coach. The interim GM is the guy Davis initially wanted to hire but second guessed himself. That said, Gray isn't necessarily the Rooney rule candidate because Champ Kelly the interim GM isnt white.
  15. Cheffers, Blakeman, and Hussey. When you hear those one of those names you know its going to be an interesting day.
  16. Its too bad the Daboll and McDermott relationship seems to be irrecoverable because I think he will be available next offseason.
  17. For sure. Playing in the AFC East was a huge advantage for them. They never won a Super Bowl in a year they didnt have a first round bye in the playoffs. Having to win 2 games to get to the Super Bowl rather than 3 is big for any team, and it played a huge part in them being a dynasty. Helped that their dynasty was during the time the NFL had both the 1 and 2 seed have 1st round byes. Another reason I am not sure we will ever see another dynasty. It is a drag the Jets and Dolphins both have hope in their corner now. The good news is I dont see Rogers playing as long as Brady. Miami will have to figure out a way to pay everyone, and from the looks of it the team runs through Tyreek more than it runs through Tua. Can only hope they pay Tua. Brady was incredible to watch. Just an absolute surgeon. His arm seemed to get stronger as the years went on as well.
  18. Reid may even pass him for all time wins when its all said and done. I've said it for awhile now, I think Belichick is a fine coach, but he was a fine coach on his way to being fired for a second time when Bledsoe got hurt and ushered in the Brady era. Once Brady went to Tampa Bay and won another title without Belichick, I think it more than sealed the deal, Brady made Belichick. I am not sure anyone will ever match what the Patriots did during that era, but it was a perfect storm of things coming together. Playing in the AFC East with three other teams who virtually wasted decades of time with bad coaching hires, and roster management helped a great deal. Belichick also plays a part in it, but if we are being honest there are a few coaches who have a better win percentage all time than Belichick without great QBs. John Madden, George Allen, George Halas, and Paul Brown all come to mind. I think its a fairly easy argument to say their legacies in football are a fair bit more revolutionary than Belichick's as well. He may be the best coach lately, but he is not the best coach of all time.
  19. Levy's win percentage is .418. Belichick's win percentage without Brady is something like .457. Pretty sure Bill Walsh never coached without Montana as a starter so that point is moot. Love Jim Kelly but he is far from Tom Brady. Point remains, if you're going to call someone the best coach to ever coach he probably shouldn't be a failure without a great Quarterback, otherwise he was just an average coach who got lucky to have a great quarterback.
  20. He's incredible. But to call out "Allen Haters" when the really negative Allen comments come during the game day threads, based solely on immediate reactions is a bit much. Should you "show yourself the door" for starting threads on McDermott when the guy is 30 wins over .500, has made the playoffs 6 of 7 years, and outcoached the "genius" last night? No, you should keep posting because thats what this board is for. To have discussion with fellow Bills' fans, to calm one another down, and to have community. I think when the dust settles pretty much everyone on this board would choose Allen over every other QB in the league. I've routinely said he is the 2nd best QB in the league, very arguable he has become the best, and clearly the most important to his team. Everyone should continue to have their own opinions, but I think we can all agree GO BILLS!
  21. It wasn't good and it's no longer surprising.
  22. Dear Josh Allen, I am an idiot. I'll probably be an idiot again. Thank you.
