  1. Still cant believe we traded Takeo Spikes for a guy that never played for us.
  2. I feel for the guy in terms of the loss he has suffered in his life, grief is a heavy thing. However, it's just one thing in a long list of terrible things people deal with in life. That said, Dareus is 28 years old, he will have his whole life to grow up and make amends, seek forgiveness etc. But the time to play ball is slowly dwindling.
  3. The dead cap is only 6.8 if he is released. The dead cap for a post June 1st cut is 2.9 this year, and 2.9 next.
  4. That's a good point. He really didnt specify names, we all just kind of ran with it. The vague tweet stuff is something I find a little off putting, but if I had the information I may do the same thing.
  5. I don't want to judge a guy I don't know, but it seems like the latest tweet may be aimed at moving the speculation on to Aaron Donald as the Mack well is running dry.
  6. Doesnt necessarily mean their front office people were there. However, to the original point the closest training camps to Van Nuys are Oxnard (Dallas) and Irvine (Rams) both of which are an hour away. So who knows.
  7. Both teams could easily do the trade. The Raiders have more than enough cap space to give Mack the extension once they release Donald Penn, they can easily afford Hughes in the same scenario. I honestly have no clue why the Raiders seem intent on alienating their best player by letting him hold out. They are stupid not to pay him this second.
  8. It's 100% habitual. And I've seen lives of people close to me destroyed from it. Have a friend who wont leave a job he can't support his family with because he can't pass a drug test. Had another friend shot to death selling it. Freely admit both of those things would probably mitigated if it were legal. I also don't think its a direct health hazard like harder drugs. Its addicting, but I also like to have a drink of beer or wine more than once a week so I can't judge.
  9. No he just tweeted a bunch about how Trump sucks, how big of a golf and soccer fan he is, and how domestic beers are less amazing than imports to push it down his Twitter timeline. Come to think of it Jeremy White and Schoop are slowly becoming the same person.
  10. My prediction is absolutely nothing is happening beyond a massive upswing in twitter followers for this guy.
  11. When I imagine this, Newton leans in for the hug but misses slightly.
  12. It's not funny, but my thinking is this was an issue prior to football. Otherwise, I think Richie's story is a pretty good lesson in being up front with your intentions, and also not biting the hand that feeds. The Bills came and got him when he was poison in the NFL. He gave a ton back, but should have been up front that he didn't want to take a pay cut. Now he is in a situation where if he ever gets another opportunity, I dont think he will, it will be for veterans minimum. Should have stuck it out with the Bills.
  13. Remember that time when he almost traded for Andrew Luck? Feels a lot like that time.
  14. All well and good but for the last few years he hasn't shown to be motivated. Not sure he is even marginally better than the guy who starts at 3 tech in Jacksonville's defense Malik Jackson, pretty much a toss up. Not even sure the guy starts the year on the active roster as he is still facing a possible suspension, and he was only a rotational player for them last year. I am glad we got a 6th round pick for him.
  15. The fact we got a pick for someone else to pay his 16.5 million dollar salary still boggles my mind.
  16. Did that tweet above say we took Pryor off their hands? When did that happen? Is this the Mandela Effect happening right before our eyes?
  17. He has talent, but honestly think he was over drafted to start with. Productive in college but he played in an offense with one of the most basic route trees going and he never had to block. Hopefully his limited time in Cleveland helped him learn alot because his speed is unreal.
  18. Going to go ahead and assume its the 4th from the Ragland trade.
  19. Feel kinda bad for the guy here. I sure as heck wouldnt want my belly hanging out on tv. Still, it was fairly obvious Friday night that the Allouettes need either a new coach or a complete roster overhaul. This is outside of Manziel being terrible. The teams give a damn was on the wrong side of utterly complacent. Pretty obvious when you jump offside and then watch a back go 15 yards. Or when 10 guys allow their quarterback to sprint 40 yards to make a tackle on an interception when they were 30 yards closer to the ball carrier. Some of the worst football I have ever seen. Rivaled the 2016 Browns.
  20. Jerry Kramer was incredible tonight. Was happy I tuned in for that one.
  21. I remember reading a few articles about KB around the time his mother passed away. He, for a multitude of reasons, was having an incredibly hard time and the team wasn't really supportive of him. Including going to the press about the weight gain following her death. I am not sure many of us would react differently if we were in his position. I for one support the guy and hope he tears it up this year.
  22. It wasn't a GM. It was an owner forcing his GM to make the pick because a homeless guy promoted him to. The GM got fired. The owner hired a lawyer to replace him, and then fires him too. It's good to be the owner.
  23. Starting to wonder if Siran Neal, Austin Proehl, and Ray Ray McCloud start the year on the practice squad or come up with a season ending injury a week before cut downs.
  24. Montreal looks like the team at the start of every feel good chump to champ sports movie.
  25. 2nd pick was off a tipped pass one of us could have caught.
