  1. He is an 8 million dollar a year running back even with the missed time. The Bills dont have the money to afford that luxury.
  2. Between this guy and Marquise Brown it seems like NFL players are in a hurry to attend the Henry Ruggs Successful Tips for a Long Life in Prison seminar.
  3. If you look at stats, both regular season and playoffs, and average them out by total games, then also factor in win% for both, total playoff wins, super bowl wins, and MVPS the list would look something like this. Tom Brady Peyton Manning Patrick Mahomes Brett Favre Ben Roethlisberger Drew Brees Aaron Rodgers John Elway Joe Montana Dan Marino Incredible to think Mahomes has done this much in such a short period of time.
  4. So why has that system never worked with any other QB?
  5. How did Zay do? For some reason he wasnt on the roster I looked up. How did Zay do? For some reason he wasnt on the roster I looked up.
  6. I'd agree if he mainly played 1 Technig If he played 1 tech I'd agree with you, but his role in this defense isnt to take up space, its to penetrate. Because he plays 3 tech I expect him to have more than 2.5 sacks. Oliver is a decent defensive lineman, but I am not sure he is a top 15 player at his position, which is what he gets paid this coming year. To take the conversation a bit further, I am not sure the defensive tackle position is worth paying out a ton of money for.
  7. Couple guys to pay attention to if you end up watching: Aiden O'Connell- QB Jalen Cropper- WR AT Perry-WR Luke Haggard-OL Kobie Turner-DL Tre'vius Hodges Tomlinson-CB Mehki Garner- CB
  8. It may be a negligible move, but I have a feeling the decision was in the works long before Cincinnati.
  9. He coached in Tampa 2 for one year. He also coached in multiple 3-4 attacking defenses, and a 4-2-5 with zone and man concepts. He is a well traveled and multi-scheme coach. Dont blast him for one year in Houston. If the Bills are smart they will start getting away from Frazier and do more to be more multiple is their coverages. This may help with that.
  10. I mean the guy has coached some pro-bowlers. But mainly as a DB Coach with guys like Revis and Jalen Ramsey. Has some versatility in terms of both zone and man schemes and at the very least has coached in the NFL. Salgado did a great job while he was here, but he had never coached at the NFL level before coming here. He had the advantage of having both Hyde and Poyer here. My guess is McDermott is looking for someone with more pro experience because the safety room is about to get a lot younger.
  11. When I think of Hockey, Tennis, Golf, and Cricket I think of sports that a whole subsection of society either A. Doesnt have the predetermined location, or B. Societal standing to play growing up. Brady competed against the best athletes in the entire world. How many of those same athletes ever had the chance to pick up tennis racket or hockey stick because of societal standing? Not to mention there are multiple professional sports leagues for hockey, soccer, and basketball across the world. Brady played in the only professional football league. Anyone saying any different is off their nut or has a personal vendetta against the guy.
  12. Whole generation of baseball players disagree with you. Not to mention the same number of football players.
  13. Best to ever do it. Maybe the greatest champion in the history of sports.
  14. I'd say the proof is in him getting an OC interview with an incredibly respected and smart franchise despite only being a WR coach and having no oc experience at any level of football.
  15. Also the cousin of Marshawn Lynch.
  16. Its a silly thing to worry about. However, it is a legitimate question.
  17. After next year. Draft his replacement and have him ready to start at center in 2024. You can save 8.5 million on the cap which you will likely need if you get cap space this year doing restructures.
  18. A little less but not much. Projections were 225
  19. Probably going to talk about this a lot this offseason but this is the second thread asking whether he should be traded. The answer is yes, they should look to trade him. The issue is his contract is 10.5 million dollars and in a trade the Bills assume none of that responsibility. So what team is taking on Ed Oliver for 10.5 million dollars as a one year rental? Further, if the team doesnt see him as a one year rental, who is giving up a draft pick, the cap hit this year, and the need to resign him to a multi year deal? Maybe its just the lack of results this scheme gets in the sack department, but he doesnt give you enough in the sack or TFL department to warrant that sort of commitment money wise.
  20. Probably the best post containing under 15 letters in the history of TBD.
  21. Josh is the 2nd best QB in the league. Joe is fine. Accurate and smart. But, his wideouts make him look a lot better than he is.
  22. C'mon! The Bengals had the ball with 2 minutes left to win the game. You cant legitimately this crap right?
  23. Gotta be honest, everytime I see Andy Reid I wonder how he sleeps at night. For all the things he has achieved in his career, everything would have to seem small given his personal issues.
  24. Trying to recall a Bengals penalty called tonight that wasnt obvious. Tons of holding on the oline, the secondary constantly plays handsy, and the late hit was as stupid as you can get. The Bengals had every chance to win that game and choked it away.
  25. I mean their superstar QB did throw two picks as well. If the QB plays better they probably dont need to make a stop on that last drive.
