  1. Fair enough. I've heard many that love Akers. I do to. Hes my #4. So for those that discount Dobbins lack of combine numbers. Check this out. OSU do their own freshman combine. Take a look at Dobbins numbers. They are spectacular. (Sorry it's my own tweets here. Not intentional in any way) (For those that dont want to click on link or zoom in on the chart)
  2. I'll say there is a zero percent chance Dobbins is there in the 3rd. Hes highly thought of by many. Now I do see positive arguments for both sides to wait on drafting an RB. The depth at that position is solid so waiting on that position does make sense. But on the other side; Someone made a great point on twitter. If the Bills go RB at 54 they could conceivably get the #1 RB rated on their board in round 2. Beane has also mentioned multiple times about needing the offence to take a step. Why not grab a guy who's an upgrade over Singletary and could really elevate this offence and help Allen? We all want Allen to take another step and if Dobbins helps to do that it's a smart choice. I have Dobbins my #1 RB and I love the fact we "might" be able to nab him in round 2. There are many RB needy teams though just before us in that range so if I had to guess he won't be there but I'dove to pick him. More stuff on Dobbins:
  3. Ahhhhhh.. Draft time craziness. Where EVERYONE has or is a source.
  4. It's pretty obvious that we are heading into the draft hoping to take someone and the fall back is a FA. We aren't starting the season with Singletary , Yeldon and T Jones at running back .
  5. JK Dobbins Why? Hes the best all around RB in the draft with the highest floor. He would instantly become our #1 RB. Hes fantastic in the passing game and to me one of the best pass protecting RB available in the draft. Hes extremely elusive as well as durable. He also had one of the best fumble ratings as well. Best part? We can get him early mid 2nd and not have to move up close to 1 for Swift or Taylor. Kid is a stud
  6. He will be a 7th or UDFA probably. Another kick at the can at making an upgrade at backup.
  7. Anyone know what the 7 white dots indicate on the blue C? Or is it just random? The state in the C is pretty cool though
  8. I'm aware of what he has done. It's been dominant. Again I never said that i wouldn't pay CMAC.
  9. Not sure I exactly follow but I'll go with more info to back my point Shaun Alexander L Bell T Gurley D Johnson 4 guys off the top of my head who were at one time elite only to fail to come anywhere close to elite production after their rookie contracts. I'm not arguing that McCaffrey will fall flat on his face, more so that to take extreme caution when paying one top $$
  10. Paying an RB top notch money coming out of their rookie contract is a recipe for disaster
  11. I understand the grade aspect of it but to me it's not a premium position that Beane has mentioned before. He has said Tackle, DE, QB, WR are of premium position.
  12. Kelley might have some connection here. I cant find the tweet but Josh Kelley played under Chip Kelly. One of the Bills FO guys worker with Chip Kelly in Philadelphia and so "maybe" some extra information on Josh Kelley? I wish I could find the tweet.
  13. QB And probably K or P because taking one there is silly.
  14. I have multiple issues with your idea. 1. The cost to move up from 54 into the 1st is going to be very costly in draft capital . Which means the other holes we have won't be filled via the draft this year. 2. Why are we moving up for a safety when it isn't a need whatsoever? Hyde and Poyer are both playing at a high level and both signed beyond this year.
  15. You wanna trade up from round 2 into round 1 for a safety?
  16. I think that's an excellent idea certainly for this year especially. Now moving forward I'm not sure id keep it. I think here are some benefits a UDFA would have over being a 8-10 round pick. 1. Sign with a team with a perceived shallow depth chart at their position thus likely increasing the odds of sticking .
  17. Exactly. I don't understand all the fear mongering the media is spreading that GM's apparently have. These guys dont Zoom during the season to make trades. They pick up their phone to talk or text. It's not rocket science lol
