  1. He took over a team from Gase that was an absolute train wreck. That team last year had zero talent and shouldn’t have won more than 2 games. They knocked off a team in week 17 that was fighting for the 1 seed. You using his current record but not understanding the body of work going into the rebuild is weird. They have drafted and developed well and still have quite a bit of ammo coming up in this draft. They currently have a winning record in his second year and again, I don’t think that team is that talented. I would have to believe that you’re in the minority in thinking he’s not a good head coach. If him going to Tua is the “questionable call,” that’s fair. However, that was a move for future and letting the team develop instead of using Fitzpatrick as a QB to build around. Marv Levy, John Harbaugh, Dick Vermeil, Ditka , etc came from special teams backgrounds. That means nothing.
  2. LOL Flores is a fantastic coach. I want him out of the division, ASAP
  3. I forgot he's not a phenomenal run blocker. Kittle does more than catch passes
  4. I tend to agree. I don't think he's been as bad as some people are suggesting. Poor LB play and DL play can absolutely affect DB's. I think that's what were seeing here, a little bit. The DB's look exposed more often when LB's are out of position.
  5. We brought Ed Oliver in to be a 3-tech. When he plays 3t, he play's pretty well. I can't help but wonder how he would be with Star in there. Maybe QJ or Butler step up and become even a "good" 1T. He is still only 22 and I think he will be a great get for us, ultimately. Just need more consistency and see him more at 3T.
  6. Yeah, I can't help but think that there is NO WAY Vosean Joseph was worse than Klein.
  7. Klein has been worse. The issue is, the times they're actually in position, they don't make the tackle or seemingly shy away from contact. I remember a play that was an off tackle (maybe a pitch) to the boundary and Klein was absolutely bulldozed and was already 5 yards late to contact. Edmunds had MAYBE one good scrape to make a play but it was still a 3-4 yard gain. He gets lost in the mix quite a bit if he's not over shooting gaps. The more I watch the LB's play the more I feel like we miss Star. He opens up gaps because he can actually hold his ground.
  8. It hasn't... It's just had injuries.. When we were putting up a ton of points, we were 4 wide quite a bit. Since John Brown injury, we haven't been 4 wide as much. I'm guessing Daboll and JA are more comfortable reading defenses and seeing the field this way and our talent out matches the defensive talent most of the time when we can have Bease, Brown, Diggs, Davis then either Singletary, Knox, Moss on the field.
  9. I really don't think this schedule is very daunting.... The Seahawks haven't beaten a team with a winning record and are giving up a TON of yards on defense. They've won a ton of close games and I think they will keep coming back down to earth. The Cardinals are just "meh" to me and are boom or bust. They threw up a stinker against the Panthers and have done that often under Kingsbury. They can't run the ball and also give up a ton of yards. Sure we have the 9er's and Steelers but none of those teams really scare me.
  10. Yeah I kept hearing that too. Levi absolutely had a pick against the Rams.
  11. I think it's a personnel problem. We brought in so many DL this year that they're trying to figure out who fits best where. Oliver should and cannot be a 1 tech at sub 300. It seems as though they're trying to play around with the pairings. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Zimmer 1 tech and Oliver 3 tech this week vs Jets. In terms of Beane not getting the right players, I think it may be too early to tell across the DL. The Chiefs run D was a disaster at the start of last year and after 8 weeks or so it became much better. I think we'll know more within 2-3 weeks who our defense really is. Long story short: It's frustrating right now but I don't think there is cause to panic just yet. Maybe Edmunds issue is injury issue, maybe it's a Star issue. The secondary seems like it's slumping, however, it's hard to tell when they have to cover for 3-5 seconds every play.
  12. I think I want more white/hispanic players in the NFL ... If a GM drafts a white/hispanic player can they move up a few spots in the next years draft?
  13. We initially traded Dareus for a sixth round conditional pick that turned into a fifth. The initial fifth round pick turned out to be Wyatt Teller. The Bills then traded Wyatt teller and a 7th for this year's 5th and 6th round draft picks. When all is said and done the Bills traded Marcel Dareus and recieve Jake Fromm, Tyler Bass
  14. I've always wondered how much input McDermott has on these trades too. I'd love to be a fly on the wall. If McDermott says, "Hey, our guy Cody is there at pick ______, you think you can get him?" I truly feel that these two love working together and feed off of each other. it could just be that McDermott sits back and trusts Beane too.
  15. Cam Akers. He's a monster and is every bit of an NFL running back. I'm not sure how his ability and skill set / production is 3rd round. He had a down year last year after they lost a great coach and went to a terrible coach. I think he will end up being the best RB of this class.
  16. Yeah I believe you, definitely. I'll post the numbers I select for the Lotto tomorrow morning after they announce the numbers.
  17. 1) AJ Terrell is incredibly overrated. 2.) Patrick Queen will have a Darius Leonard type impact for whichever team he goes to and be DROY.
  18. Maybe he meant Maurice Alexander? We singed him last off-season and he is that hybrid size type guy
  19. If it’s Vosean Joseph, hes a MLB and was on IR. If it’s Jaquan Johnson... he was ST guy last year.
  20. Watch some of the Bills last year. Played well.
  21. He's already better than EJ, though. I don't think havign someone on the roster that Josh has to look over his shoulder at is a good idea for his development.
  22. Wow, you have reading comprehension issues. You are the guy that nitpicks starts arguments because of your lack of understanding/ for the sake of doing it I kind of feel bad for you. So let me break this down. Kawann Short has a great year playing next to Star. Star leaves. Kawann's play falls off... significantly. Is this a coincidence? JP was a decent player. He begins to play next to Star and he becomes a much better player. Is this a coincidence? Obviously (maybe not for you), JP has not played without Star and we have no way of knowing if his play will fall off, right now.
  23. I didn't ignore any comparison? In your response to me, there was no phillips comparison. Jordan Phillips was a decent player before he started playing next to Star. Just like Kawann Short was. Star leaves, his play falls off.. coincidence? hmmmmmmm The bold makes me cringe. I'm not even responding to that.
