I've noticed that they don't really start playing until they HAVE to start playing and that is a bad, bad rhythm to get into cause really good teams are going to play the full 60 minutes and steamroll us into submission, early and often.

Those are some good quality lists, guys. I've seen Cool Hand Luke about 100 times and i almost forgot about Goodfellas and Casino, which is always playing on AMC.

So, i was sent home from work this week with Covid (80% of the office has it right now) and although i should be working from home (which i said i would), i don't and i'm not. I found myself in front of the TV watching whatever is playing, just flipping around the channels.........and came across the Shawshank Redemption (i've seen it about a 100 times and i'll watch it another 100 times), which got me to thinking about my all time "go to" movies.......movies that no matter how many times i've watched them, if they are playing on TV, i'll watch them again, over and over. So, here's my list..... * The Shawshank Redemption * Fargo * Triangle * The Dark Knight * Silence of the Lambs I've probably seen all these movies about 100 times........i just cant' get enough of them. What's your movie "go to" list?

So why was Amari Cooper traded twice in his prime?

........faster than Coleman? -
That list is bull.......Bama a 2 loss team and still at 15. I know what the committee is doing here. They are keeping them close to hovering around 12 and hope they claim a spot into the playoffs. How come Vandy is only at 25?......they are a 5-2 team and they actually beat Bama.

I should start a new thread, titled "Poop Tests......love em or hate em". I mean, i don't care either way. If someone wants me to **** in a bucket and then inspect it, well have at it buddy. Tell me if you see anything you like in there.

When i was working in the nuclear industry, we would routinely have to do poop tests to get analyzed for any Alpha radiation contamination.......every once in awhile the poop transport cart would tip over if the guy was pushing it too fast. You ever think you're having a bad day?..........wait till you see the poop cart tip over, the poor guy who had to clean it up and the angry mob that had to force a 2nd poop for a new Alpha test.

the Daboll/Schoen regime - on the brink, it seems

The problem in NY is that they have zero cornerstone to their roster. Consider franchises with JA, Mahomo, Hurts, Stroud, Purdy, etc......you can build around that. You have nothing to build around in NY. They have absolutely nothing for a cornerstone and essentially will have to start from the ground up in rebuilding mode. Any HC or coaching staff involved with NY right now should start throwing resumes around cause it is going to get nasty and i can't imagine too many people involved with the Giants to be around for the long haul. -
I still remember a time in the early 90's when the AFCEast was THE division in the NFL......every team in our division were full of talent and depth and beat the living **** out of each other and all were poised to make a playoff push every year. And then BB and Brady came along.......
-
This is the year to put it all together and make a SB run, re-tooling, re-building the roster, no matter. It looks like KC, Ravens, Houston and maybe the Steelers are our only test for the AFC and i would put our roster up against any of them.

One thing i've noticed about Coleman that really impresses me is that he is always helping teammates up off the turf, whether he is involved in the play or not, he is always helping guys up. That is a fine upstanding young teammate right there.

What i found for this season for the most part is that there just really aren't too many quality teams to watch this year. There just seems to be a lot of average teams and that makes for just an average watching experience. Shaw, you've been around for a while.......do you remember the slugfests in the 80's and early 90's? Do you remember the quality of the players and teams? Do you remember the rivalries? Do you remember where every game felt like it meant something, and it usually did when there was a lot of pride on the line between franchises.......the House of Pain, the House of Noise, etc. It felt like every game was well worth watching for the experience. The players had a chip on their shoulders and the rivalries alone were worth tuning in every week (San Fran vs. Dallas, Bills vs. Miami, etc.).......an era where you had the likes of Elway, Kelly, Marino, Rice, Okoye, Thomas, White, etc. The quality of play was better. The refs didn't dictate the game and yes, the game was rougher, but guys were allowed to tackle without fear of the flag on every play. It feels to me that the NFL has been "dumbed down" for this era and especially this year it has been less than average watching experience for the fans. I'm a big college guy, have been for many years and i enjoy college ball tons more than i enjoy the NFL.....it used to be that i would watch every NFL game and now i only watch the Bills, but if there were more meaningful rivalries, i would watch more as the watching experience would mean more. As it stands now, there is no rivalry outside of the Bills that even warrants my interest.

Wait......what?!? He is a part of their issues. Miami has talent on that roster, there's no doubt about that, however, if the HC can't lead these guys every week, then that talent is wasted, which is what's happening with the Fins these days. They are imploding. The owner......the GM.....the HC......in that order, so he's about 33.3% the issue.

I just puked a bit in my mouth...........UGH

Jesus, my day would have been a lot better off not seeing that -

I'm not seeing a whole lot of competition in the AFC this year........KC, Ravens and Houston, that's about it. This might be a good year to try to make a run. -

I was initially thinking yes, but that's awfully steep. If ole Beane can hit on something tangible in the draft, we've got quite a few picks next season, so anything is possible.
