  1. Bills - 13 Jets - 21 Sorry, not sorry.......i don't know if this is the week that we're going to turn our O around.
  2. Johnson and HUGE in the same sentence?.......you sir, just made MY day.
  3. Do you feel triggered?
  4. Nowadays, i'm not even sure i'm allowed to laugh at this comment without hurting someone's feelings or triggering them......show us on the doll where the bad man hurt you.
  5. ........you haven't been injured much, have you?
  6. I assure you, yes. I know the dead guy was somewhere in 1st class. I was in economy, so i was at the back of the plane and no one knows where the electrical fire started or where it was, but you could smell it throughout the whole plane for hours. The fire started first (which led to power being rerouted to the flight deck and we sat in darkness) and then about 30 minutes after, the doctor (who was sitting beside me) was asked by the attendant to check on a passenger in 1st class......and about 20 minutes after that, when the doctor came back to his seat, he told me the guy was dead of a heart attack. They weren't going to reroute the plan or do an emergency landing over the dead guy (he wasn't going anywhere)......it was the fire concern.
  7. From what i'm seeing, put Coleman in the slot where we can utilize his size for some easy yards. He will never be a great perimeter threat and for Brady to keep him on the outside is like fitting a square peg in a round hole. Sure, it worked for Coleman at FSU, but NFL CB/DB's are faster and somewhat bigger and can jam the big man at the line, throwing off rhythm and timing and thus only a couple of passes his way each game, with very little success. Coleman in the slot.......i'm advocating this and i'll die on this hill.
  8. I really thought coming into this season, we would run a sort of WCO style hybrid. We have the WR's that can create YAC, however, that means very little if they can't initially create separation and get open. Every team knows we have no deep threat and will rely heavily on the slants and crossers over the middle, so they bullrush the line creating havoc and throwing off any rhythm and timing we were ever hoping to have and the rest is what we've seen the past 2 weeks.......expect to see it more now that teams have caught on and i don't have faith in Brady to adjust any time soon.
  9. I can look back at it now and laugh at how absurd the whole thing was, but at the time, it was sheer panic, dread and chaos........i mean, the dead guy was the only one not making a fuss (he had a good reason, i guess)
  10. Here's the thing, if you are 4 hours into a 10 hour flight over the Pacific and you have an emergency, where are you going to land when it's water for as far as the eye can see? Do you turn around and fly 4 hours back or do you keep on the same flight path until you get closer to some kind of land somewhere?......it's not like there's a whole lot of land out there over the Pacific to land a plane. I think turning the plane around and heading back to Japan would have been the best option, as it would have eased a lot of tension on board and not have people completely panicked for another 6 hours to reach Vancouver........6 hours in complete darkness, not knowing what's going on and if you're going to die that day is a long time, my friend........a long time to contemplate life.......and death.
  11. 150 pages of our WR's........could have been summed up with one post that they are just not good enough
  12. with half a team?........i got nothing.
  13. From what i've seen the last two games, JA has had to run for his life with very little time or success to create a play with the WR's not being able to get open and not being able to throw to his outlet......a bull rushing front D and blanketing CB/DB's will do that.
  14. I keep falling back on, is it scheme, talent or execution?......maybe a little of all 3, however, Brady should know the players by now, he should know their strengths, their weaknesses, etc. I think Brady needs to scheme to the level of the players talents and coach proper execution and i'm not sure if he has the experience quite yet. I think with the level of talent on the field you would have to scheme in more 22 formations to hide the flaws of the WR's......we've got two solid TE's, surely, we can get them more involved, can't we?
  15. Spoiled?.....maybe Appreciative?........absolutely When you cry yourself to sleep every night during the drought and witness some of the worst football in NFL history and your punter is the face of the franchise, i'll take a winning and competitive football any day.......if that makes me spoiled, then i am a spoiled brat
  16. You son of a *****!!!! In regard to your other post, a guy actually did die on the plane during that whole incident......heart attack. The covered him with a blanket and didn't tell anyone. The only way i knew about it was because the flight attendant was going up and down the aisles asking anyone if they were a doctor and as luck would have it, the guy beside me was. He left for 20 minutes, came back to the seat and whispered to me, "heart attack.....didn't make it" and that was the end of that. Now remember, we were all sitting in the pitch black for the remainder of the flight, you couldn't see nothing, so no one would have ever noticed anything. I seem to recall that he was the first guy they took off the flight when we could finally leave.......so, if you want to get off the plane quick, be a dead guy.
  17. Now, we're going to see some "all day" Ray in action. I hope he gets lots of carries cause he's the type of back that needs the rhythm to get going.
  18. It's funny you bring this up cause I was just watching some 22 formation schemes and the guy hosting the show was saying it's the perfect formation to loosen up a front D and start setting the path for some play action. The O has to be committed and patient to the 22 and not shy away when only gaining minimal yardage and eventually the D will be left open for some passing gains. Sure, why not?
  19. I really wish Brady knew how to utilize the 12 personnel and get both TE's involved more.
  20. Jesus..... I was on a flight from Japan to Vancouver about 10 years ago and mid-flight, we had an electrical fire on board (you could smell burning electronics all throughout the plane). The pilots had to reroute all power from everything on the plane to the cockpit (flight deck) which seemed to ease the tensions for a bit, until the pilots made the announcement that they may have to re-route the plane or make an emergency landing (we are all sitting in total darkness, by the way)......we are halfway between our destination and completely smack dab over the Pacific, so where are we going to re-route to? That's exactly what you want to hear as you're over the Pacific that they may have to make an emergency landing. Chaos ensued......like, i'm talking some real "Lord of the Flies" type stuff. It was wild, man. Long story short, we finally arrived in Vancouver, no problem. The pilot tells everyone to stay on the plane for safety until everything gets checked out. Four and a half hours later a flight representative comes on board and tells everyone that we can leave and, "oh, no refunds and thanks for flying Air Canada". Wait?.....what? I wasn't expecting a full refund, but some sort of compensation would have been nice. Screw you, Air Canada.......never again.
  21. I don't pick it up even if i DO know who it is........leave a message.
  22. I never got into the whole wrestling thing.......it just wasn't fake enough for me.
  23. UGH.....i wouldn't **** her with a stolen ****
  24. I'm really hoping Brady and our O can figure things out sooner rather than later........the AFC in general this year is a bit of a mess, and this is the year to take advantage of it. If our O was firing on all cylinders, i could really envision that this would be the year to go to the SB (i know i say it every year) but no AFC team scares me this year......none.
