I wasn't sure how to weigh in on this, but here goes.......... TT dumping the ball off to Shady on every play for minimal yardage is reminiscent of the TE days in Buffalo...........dull, unexciting, uninspiring and we all know how that ended up for Trent. Fans pay good money to watch a decent game and dull football play from the QB position makes the game too long on a sunday afternoon recently. A lot of fane didn't care much for Fitz or Losman, but these guys had no problems heaving the skin down the field, mind you for a majority of disastrous plays, but it kept the fans on the edge of their seats and instilled a confidence between the QB and his WR's, by lobbing it up and letting the players make a play. Dumping the ball off on every play says 2 things..........1) i don't have the confidence in my guys to make a play and 2) i don't have the confidence in myself to not make mistakes. Putting a throwing QB like Peterman will probably have disastrous results, but you can't deny that the fans are looking forward to some passing plays in the near future........and in a passing league these days, i say air it out and let your teammates make some plays. That is all..........i have spoken.

If you find the venison too gamey, soak it in ginger ale for 24 hours. The ginger ale sucks it right out. It works the same with moose, boar, geese, etc. We used to soak black bear in milk for 24 hrs. That's about the only way you can eat it..........we tried bear one time without soaking it first and its not even edible.

NFL investigating Jameis Winston for Uber incident

It sounds like Winston just might be Uber ****ed. -

No love for Trace Mcsorley?............albeit, he ain't the best of the QB class, but i'd still take him over Allen.

McCoy sounds very unhappy about the switch
Sweats replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was more of a knock on TT dumping the ball off on every play, than at Shady. -
Yes, i am new to the NFL....................................................................................................................................................................................rolls eyes. So, as the team sits right now, does the vision look like a winning organization and culture or does it look a little more haphazardly knee jerk reaction type, with the coaching staff flying by the seat of their pants? I'm sure we all understand that the organization won't get fixed overnight and it takes time to build, but you can't tell me that you knew exactly the vision of this franchise when they let go all of our WR's, our best RB's (minus Shady, of course), let Dareus go, benched TT, etc. If you can see the clear vision through all of the mud, then yer a better man than me. What i'm saying as a fan for a clear vision is that as fans, we don't exactly know what the vision is............we can assume and speculate, but none of us know the franchises vision moving forward. All i'm saying is that the clear vision is looking a little muddy right now..........from a fan perspective.

Was the move at QB a good move or bad move?
Sweats replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
These are my thoughts exactly. I'm sure the coaching staff wants to see what they have in Peterman moving forward and this is going to determine pulling the trigger on a QB in next years draft, which i assume they will have to anyways, but it will give them a clearer picture on focusing on the teams needs and priorities. I'm not sure if starting Peterman is the "right" move, but it is the necessary move at this point. -
Unfortunately, none of us really know what the clear vision is.

What's your reaction if Peterman is terrible this Sunday
Sweats replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How can you ever be disappointed by a rookies first ever game in the NFL, man? I'm expecting huge disappointment, however, i'm also expecting a learning curve going into it. The kid has to learn and there's no better way than to throw him into the fire..........sink or swim. Peterman isn't going to learn on this team while sitting on the bench. Throw him on the field and take the good with the bad.......either he's a viable option for the future or he isn't. Let the chips fall where they may and leave it all on the table, bro. -
Anxious/Terrified/Excited - feel them all
Sweats replied to Xerx's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Truer words have never been spoken, bro. At this point, every Bills fan wants to feel hopeful again. I'm reserving judgement on this coaching staff and FO until after the next draft..........if they drop the ball, as so many have done before them, then disappointment is going to run rampant once again. -
Opinion/Theory - Is this team being over-coached?
Sweats replied to blacklabel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Could it be 6 different head coaches, 6 different coaching schemes, 6 different coaching philosophies, 4 different GM's and a constant revolving door of players that might attribute to bad play all around for the past 17 yrs. Food for thought. -
Looks like this game has all the makings of the Steelers running away with it.

Vic Carucci's Interesting Take On Why Tyrod Was Benched
Sweats replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh Jesus, man............a 6 1/2 hour drive to watch that filth against the Saints. I know this doesn't help much, but i am so sorry that this team did that to you, man. In fact, the FO at OBD owes every one of its fans an honest apology for what we've all witnessed the past 2 weeks. -
He sounds like he's saying all the right things to keep in the good graces for when he heads to his new team.

Anxious/Terrified/Excited - feel them all
Sweats replied to Xerx's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I completely understand, bro..........but this team has a lot of needs going forward and we have no idea where the coaching staff ranks our priorities. I would assume that a QB is fairly high on their list, but after what ive witnessed so far this year, absolutely nothing surprises me anymore. -
ESPN Claims Taylor claiming racial motivation for benching?
Sweats replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is it any wonder that ESPN is having mass layoffs when they are reporting mass garbage and "fake news"? -
You think benching Flutie, the guy who busted his nuts to get the team to the playoffs, was the best move for the franchise at that time? Really?.............i mean, really?

Bills are 30th in passing yards, & 29th in total yards
Sweats replied to reginald's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If those stats arent screaming QB change, then i have no idea what does. -
Who's been most screwed by the Bills? Of All Time.
Sweats replied to LA Grant's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its got to be Flutie and its not even close. The guy busts his nuts getting the team to the playoffs and then they bench him............i mean, come on man, if that doesn't have the all time Bills fail, then i don't know what does. -
New Orleans Scrubs at the end of the game....
Sweats replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sometimes you just gotta roll the dice and shake the team up a little...........i'm all for it. The team played like shite the past couple of weeks, no doubt about it, but let's see what Peterman can do against starters before we pass judgement on the kid. -
McCoy sounds very unhappy about the switch
Sweats replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of course Shadys upset............he was getting used to having the ball dumped to him on every play. Petermans going to open up this O and Shady will be limited to carries. -
Anxious/Terrified/Excited - feel them all
Sweats replied to Xerx's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The coaching staff has no choice but to start Peterman. They need to see what they have moving forward and whether they will aim high at a QB in next years draft.............i agree with the decision 100%.
