I was in Jacksonville years ago and i'll tell ya that if you wander off the beaten path, there are some pretty scary areas around town. Stick to the main streets and you'll be fine..........unless you're looking for crack, looking to become someones temporary "date", suicidal, etc, then by all means, wander the glorious filth that Jacksonville has to offer.

This season was a definite success. I, for one thought they might only pull out 5-6 wins and i'm happy i was wrong on that one. Go Bills!!!

Alright, so i have to give an update on a Netflix series that i recently praised on here. The series is Rectify.........this dude is falsely accused of killing someone and finally get released from death row after 19 yrs. and tries to readjust to society..........you see? That's a damn good premise for a show. My wife and i have been binge watching it lately. There's like 4 season and the first 2 season are slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww as they do character development. Well, we started in on seasons 3 and 4 and holy shiza, they are just as slow. The series was rated as a mystery/thriller and i'll tell you thats a downright lie cause its a friggin drama........and did i mention how slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww it was? I'm not saying its all bad cause its a pretty good series, but imagine watching nothing............okay, just nothing and a whole lot of nothing. Nothing happens............ever. You get to the point where you actually loathe the characters and hope they get picked off one by one by a disgruntled postal employee. Christ, is it slow.

Well, i got my phone call this evening of the work status and right now it looks like 50/50 if we're still working or not. Apparently, the new manager wants to go over the books, the budget, the schedule and workforce and see where everyone fits into the new managerial scheme..........i should know by tomorrow evening if i'm safe or not. Other than that, i've got a few backup plans in the works for just such an emergency. I'm not as nervous as i was first thing this morning.

There's been a HUGE meeting all day with the "uppers" (as in upper management) to determine our fates. Apparently, i will be getting a phone call tonight to advise on the outcome and determine a path forward. I've got a feeling we're all going to be job hunting tomorrow morning. Son of a......

I just know a SB win is in the cards for the Bills sometime in the future..........whenever that is, i have no idea, however, my mind keeps wandering back to the fact that if the Bills of the 90's (arguably one of the best teams of all time) couldn't win a ring, then what must happen to actually have the Bills win a SB? I know, i know..........one step at a time..........playoffs and then see where we go and what direction this team will take. I suppose patience is in the heart of every Bills fan.

Honestly, i was pretty excited that we got him at #9 that year..........the dude was a baller in College and i was sure he would be able to parlay that right into the NFL. Yeah, i was wrong, but so was Nix and Chan.........so i don't feel so bad about it.

My god, their forum could easily pass as the BBMB.

Honestly and i know i'm not the only one, but i never would have thought that we would make it into the playoffs with this roster...........on paper, it kind of looks like acquisitions purchased at a flea market and yard sale. I know our roster still has a long way to go, but it looks like we've got a pretty solid foundation.

Well, how's this for a holiday bonus?..........got a phone call this morning that my manager had just been fired at 8am today and everyone working for him is now in limbo. The company is weighing the options of saving their dying budget by just letting us all go or replacing the manager with a different guy.........and i'm hearing they're just going to let us all go cause you know, they have to save their over-extended budgets and stuff. Happy New Year!!!

It wasn't just that the Bengals won, it was how they did it..............right down to the wire with a TD to seal the deal. I thought for sure Dalton was going to let it slip through his fingers and leave Bills fans crying in the streets. All i can say is WOW!!!

I, for one just want to say that i think this thread has run its course. Nothing good can come out of it and we should all be focusing on maybe finally getting rid of the drought this evening........and the fact that we had a pretty good season. I vented, others have vented and spoke their piece. Wherever this thread goes from this point on, i'm out.

Hey, even if we don't end the drought tonight, this team is still miles ahead of where most of thought they would be this year. I mean, i never thought we would even be close to where we are with our roster.
