  1. Well we know the Bills have seen him punt about a million or so times the last few years, so he must be good!
  2. Its "up to" 12.5 million, probably full of incentives he wont see unless plays a lot
  3. Have a feeling Feliciano's cap hit will be fairly low, maybe around 3mil this year or so. The "up to" $17mil reported ususally means extremely team friendly. That combined w a signing bonus means it shouldnt be too high
  4. True, but also to the OP's point - the teams basically have pre-paid for their services. I think the team absolutely has a right to say look we paid you for some of 2022, 2023, etc. If you want out that bad, then let's re-work the contract so the new team has to pay it. Especially in Watsons case who technically has been on his rookie deal so far.
  5. Agree, $2 mil paycut is meh for me. Would have been better off cutting them and finding a good deal on the open market. If there's any year to get cheaper deals, this is the one
  6. RT has been a dumpster fire for soooooo long, I wanted him back bad. Good contract for both sides.
  7. Morse was restructured a a few days ago, save around 2 mil
  8. No he definitely won't be, but hopefully an upgrade
  9. Agree, take a pay cut or be cut. Wonder if they are waiting to see if they can get a replacement in free agency 1st
  10. Agree, plus I believe this the 1st year it is guaranteed per the new CBA unlike past years where it wasn't. I would pass on it and if he has a monster year franchise him if a deal can't get done
  11. Yeah if they do it before it's tampering, can get penalized. Even though they all do it before anyway.
  12. They did that intentionally, knew the team in between their 2 picks didn't need a QB, so made sure they got Hunter 1st
  13. Have the details came out yet, like guaranteed $, etc? Haven't seen anything
  14. I agree, good player but $10 per year for a player on the wrong side of 30 is questionable. I can't really form an opinion until the exact details come out, but if it lowers the cap this year and has an easy out in the last year its not so bad.
  15. I don't think it would be the same situation as Eric Wood. They found a career ending injury with him, so it would be a bad look going after this money. If Star decided to retire for his own reasons, then thats his own choice and shouldn't get it.
  16. If I were Jacksonville I would trade the #1 pick for Watson in a heartbeat. Proven 25 year old top QB in the league in his prime > unproven rookie (I dont care how good of a prospect he is or about the contract)
  17. I would do it for Sweat for sure. Still on a rookie deal w 5th year option
  18. Don't want him for that contract, too much for his age. Good, n is find a younger DE
  19. I was intrigued until I read that he wanted to be the highest paid defensive player in the league.
  20. They usually dont blow a lot of money on top follar free agencts, but you never know. I was surprised on Gilmore.
  21. This has nothing to do with Darnold or what the Jets think about him. Reich clearly wanted to reunite with his old QB and doesn't think that he's done yet
